Great video! been delaying buying this because it isnt minifigure scale, but now it was the only set I was missing (of the 2018-now sets) so I had to finish the collection! Thinking of building it in the christmas days!
I've bought it 3 times now. Every set has a LOT of pieces missing. I don't know why no one ever mentions this but I have some ideas. That being said, providing the set is complete, it really is an amazing set and worth buying if you're a HP fan. It outshines my official model of Hogwarts a heck of a lot, and there is so much to look at. The building techniquesare really interesting and it takes a lot more pieces to build than it appears. No illegal building techniques other than possibly the viaduct bridge, but it works. I got this for the exterior, however the interior parts are great omages to the movies.
It definitely looks gorgeous! I like your thoughts on it. I haven't purchased it yet because of limited space. Instead I bought the Great Hall in minifigure Scale and modified it myself. Seeing this again makes me reconsider... :D
They are very different kinds of sets. This one is definitely more of a display piece. I really want to get lights for it so I can light it up in the evening, but the build is such fun and it is truly gorgeous. Can't really go wrong with it :)
@@HighTeaToys Sounds awesome. Everything looks better with LED lights. Where do you put your hogwarts castle for displaying, on a table? It seems like it doesn't fit any shelve.
@@bvc6940 It's on top of a Kallax unit (IKEA) in the office. The boathouse sticks out a little but very minorly. I'd like to put is somewhere nicer but this way I get to see it often :)

I got it 3 times from Smyths Toys. Try there, Amazon or even ebay.
Imagine it with some lights! Amd then the proper set up you want for it in the future ... wow,.it is going to be just beatiful!😍
