The only way to properly restore that electrolux it to apply stripper and repaint it after Complete disassembly. Also, lead test the paint before stripping if you decide to do that. If it's lead, use gloves and a respirator. In addition though you will need to find someone to dispose of the paint. As for the vacuum it's self not having very much suction or airflow. I'd say that's quite common for cloth hosed vacuums as most of it is lost through the pores in the cloth. I have a hoover model 700 from 1927 and it has the same suction in tool mode.
The Hoover’s brushroll is coming to the end of its life but it has enough life in it to last a couple more years, I’d say 4-6 years maybe and or 3 years for the shortest time left but the machine sounds beautiful compared to the ones I’ve owned lol
I remember my grandparents had a the boss super lite and a Hoover steam vac, they bought a rainbow to replace these 2, I got the rainbow cause my grandparents sadly passed away in 2022
My Electrolux canister is nearly the same as yours I just have the canister no hose, wand, nozzles, or tools. It runs good and looks good. My local vacuum shop gave it to me
Intellitech I have 3 vacuums the 1st one is a bissle powerforce helix turbo rewind the 2nd one is a hoover windtunnle rewind pet the 3rd one is a kubota shop vac I love ur vids.
I had the little yellow eureka the boss when I was in the military it was the worst vacuums I have ever used this was when it was new at the time I think 10 years ago but no suction after 2 weeks I bought it because it was compact and would fit away and when I realized it literally did not suck anything I bought my hoover performer 3010 it was a tiny little canister the size of a 20 inch tv and it has a wan and when I used it all the dirt came up I had it until it broke one day but that eureka is unexpectable for 4 amps I've used a one amp dust buster better..
I just found a Eureka boss super lite vacuum I found it next to a trash pile so i grabbed it tore it down it was clogged so I unclogged it and clean it and it works great and I’m I able to buy a new filter cartridge for it I’d like to put a new one it it
@@IntellitechStudios Yes my Hoover PowerMax canister is the same way it basically has a wind tunnel cord from that time frame and it’s so stiff it takes the cord drill forever to retract
Raspberry cheesecake anyways eureka whirlwind litespeed sounds nice and I have exact same blue 6594 but my 6594 motor has a wine down when I turn it off it was sounding like dry bearings so that’s when ever I got it from goodwill
@Intellitech Studios ok that's good. Do you ever want own your own business with vacuum cleaners like repairs services and sales. Sell all kinds of vacuums such as uprights canisters bagged bagless wet and dry vacs cordless vacs carpet cleaners and stick vacs too.
O and if you were talking about me with though attachment thing I new it didn’t come with any I was just joking around lol cause they were in the review but you didn’t sell them with it like I said I just wanted the vac it’s self
Ok just wanted to make sure you knew cause I did look at the listing but if you ever do find the tourbo brush I will buy it from you or you could include it with my next purchase from you lol

That is the Electrolux model S! It was manufactured from 1960-66! I was made the same time as the model G and !!AF! Great machines!!

Love the soft & light, electrolux model S and that kenmore canister

Are Eureka Air Speed Suction Seals a rare vacuum you don't see many old ones on TH-cam being reviewed?
I don't believe so
I like the Hoover soft and light Elite
Nice video love the super lite been looking for them
What I would recommend doing with the Electrolux is sending it down to bare metal and then re-painting
Good job buddy
Love to see a video of that blue kenmore canister
I have Shark professional
And it works just great with your idea
I would keep that Eletrolux cause it is so rare

Back when I was like 2 my mom gave me her dirt devil dynamite and it has the telescopic handle so I used that as a toy
Be careful Sharon that’s a lotta sodium.
The cord clip on the Eureka is used so they didn’t have to change the cord when I made it a rewind my day just used a cord they already had
I figured
