24:17 my bissell powerforce compact had that that same issue and I watched a video because I wanted to see how it was fixed but and I fixed it on my bissell powerforce compact and I am super happy that it is fixed
On the Kirby I would put tech drive in drive to make sure it is working. Also it may have been thrown out due to the delicate switch being on so the motor seemed like it was losing power (to the unsuspecting person). Switch it to full power and give tech drive a try. I can’t believe someone would throw it out! There’s literally nothing you can do to a Kirby that can’t be undone. I can work on every part of the machine and have worked on many.
I actually had 3Kirby's at one time. Had a heritage ll, g4, gsix 2001 limited edition. Ive turned down many others. I gave away all but the gsix to people I know who needed a vacuum. I actually kept the g4 attachments since they work with the gsix. The biggest reason for people getting rid of them is that they are big, heavy, and to use the hose you have to go through the process of removing the whole head. For years I was single and used my kirby's but my girlfriend told me I needed to get a new vacuum and use that one for deep cleaning because it was just too cumbersome to use everyday. So I now own a bagged bissell. Its definetly alot lighter and easier to move around even with the kirby's drive system its still a work out.
Awesome vacuums!! I see a Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition and more Bissells. Sadly I broke the brush roll endcap of my Fury :( but anyways awesome video! You can watch VacLabs video about using the Kirby you'll like it! That Kirby has a two-speed selector switch which is exclusive to the Diamond Edition models and If you press you can change it to normal speed and lower speed when the green light turns on.;
I’ve found That normally when you find Kirbys that are on the side of the road or at a thrift store there’s not anything wrong with them people just think the theyre too clumsy and they just throw them out.
Um i have a dyson dc 24 that when you turn it on it sounds like it is screaming lol, would you know what the problem is? because I have no clue what it is.

Too bad people out there throw them things out over a simple repair, but I seen worst in other videos, people smashing them up while still in good running condition til they catch fire, even brand new ones, just mad me feel quit bad, especially when there are people who can use one, once I first started watching your videos, made me feel a bit better seeing them things get fixed when they`re worth it, I`m personally no vacuum collecter, but I sure don`t mind watching videos like this.
I kind of disagree with the Dirt Devil Royal Hand Vac (Bagged one) with "Not the way to do it" using the outer bag. Many people do use the outer bag instead of going out and buying new paper bags. You can clean out the outer bag if it ever gets dirty and those machines are so tiny so if you used paper bags, they would fill up very quickly. I doubt someone would use it to the extent of what you showed but it's better to have a reusable bag that you can clean/wash out instead of one which fills up extremely quickly.
Is that Kirby for sale I need the diamond edition in my collection my last one died and it was a family heirloom are you willing to sell as is for 50 up to 100 dollars

Also the belt on that kirby defiantly needs replacing. if you ever store one you have to take the belt loose because they stretch.

The proper way to adjust Kirbys are put the head down until the tone changes and then one more. Also check the gears
