Mirage F1, beautiful jet ,one of the best interceptors ever built and still in use for their primary role after 33yrs. Cant tell from the markings who's operating them, but these pilots rock at low level..
yeah i was deer hunting in south texas and a personal jet, i believe, flew right over my head at a VERY low pass, maybe 60 feet in the air.. and it was natural for me to duck.. i never saw it coming either.. pretty cool sight though
yeah this thing was so fast it def broke the sound barrier bc i never heard it or saw it till it passed me over my head but i did hear the sonic boom about 3 secs before it passed and i thought it was my dad that shot something but i figured it wasnt him bc it shook the ground.. but this thing was piss my pants loud and VERY fast..
i totaly agree with you. for example you fly very low over the grnd and a wind pushes your plane down with a speed of 300 - 400 knots you almost have no chance to save your plane or bail out for a couple of hundredth seconds
i was at an airshow and they was the airbus...some helicopters...some other planes....and then the rafale took off and it was like...unbeleivable the sound, people think an average commertial jet is loud, wait till you hear them lol!
Oh got it. I thought it was just a Carrier Variant DAssault Mirage though, I've never noticed that Rafales have canards on them (the leading edge wings you spoke of). Thanks though.
This footage is crazy!! Somebody had a serious craving for speed to be flying that low haha! But I bet it felt awesome! I thought it was cool flying in my little DA20 Katana at 90mph 100ft over water. Flying at 600mph 10ft over the desert takes that rush to a whole nother' level!!!
@PrgrMan Hi, 1:48 is not the golden eagle, it's just the mask manufacturer's logo :D "Ulmer, France" haha. To be honest i really believe that many of these videos splice bits of French of Chad in 1986 and SAAF in Angola. Otherewise there'd be just too many inconsistencies.
