The ending was said perfectly. The people, the land, the food, the culture has nothing to do with politics. Thank you for showing us the cultures of the places you travel. The world is small but yet so big. 💫

I lived in Uzbekistan for several months. And not even in the capital, people are extremely welcoming and friendly. Amazing food is very high-calorie, cheap and does not lead to weight gain. Thanks to Gabriel and the organizers of this Performance!

Promoting tourism promotes the people. I'm glad things are getting better for the people there. Obviously the people there love sharing their culture and they seem so welcoming. It's easy to sit at a computer and bitch about what you are doing but you are doing while they are just sitting. Also, I want to point out how supportive you have been of other youtubers - not just on this trip - but throughout all your journeys. That shows your confidence and and most importantly your caring spirit..

Gabe - like you said, paraphrasing, you aren't fooled by "political appearance" and good for you....most governments are corrupt up to their necks.....that is the very nature of professional politics, alas......I am from Denmark, supposedly one of the top democratic and free countries on the planet, ever - but still......politics is politics - most important of all is a FREE PRESS - and to a certain degree, that is part of TH-camrs job description as well, seeing as you document what you see, mostly.....and you doing a good job with that, no worries, man.....:-)

Just have to say...I admire Gabriel's commitment to explore the countries of the world, regardless of their politics. I am assuming that most of us just want to see the world...the beauty of the land, it's people, and diverse cultures. I love the enrichment of seeing how other people live. I agree with him--government/politics are corrupted pretty much everywhere...but the people are not their government. Many are not happy with their governments, and actually have little say in it. Even in the US. Politics should not keep us from wanting to know the people of the world, and the amazing lands that they inhabit. Friendship rises above all barriers.

You're spot on with your opinion on avoiding travel in countries with bad government! :) Every single country's government has corruption at some level. Human nature is at play at all times in politics unfortunately. Not going to a country just because you don't like something about the majority of the people's political stance or their government doesn't make much sense (no country is perfect anyways).

@@ronr.511 It depends how you use the word. It can convey more than one meaning. Please bear in mind I use it in the British English sense, where it means be wary or be aware, and does not imply any danger a such, although it can be used in that way two as the word has two meanings. I can't speak for its US usage, where it may be different (as George Bernard Shaw was humourously aware)

Have you been to all the "stans" by now? Like those old cars around in many of these countries, very cool.

SO FUNNY to see David filming in the background. I've been watching his videos in preparation for going to armenia for work and he... I dunno, he rubs me wrong. The behind the scenes look is excellent!

Excellent travelogue as usual. Your disclaimer at the end of the video I totally agree with. If politics really represented the will of all the citizens, then no one would visit the USA.
