Owen was one of the only people who appreciated April before her near death moment, i love that! He never took advantage of her, their friendship is amazing
People never give April the credit she deserves, she became a freaking trauma surgeon and a kickass ARMY SURGEON! Even Riggs knew her as "The Machine", I hate that the writers did not go deeper into those amazing traits she had and make the characters give her the RESPECT she deserved professionally and personally, just Owen. I loved their friendship!
@Stephanie the Ravenclaw I was thinking that too and I think Owen reminds April of someone she knew too bad we will never know since they got rid of April.
i may not like owen i noticed that he takes ppl seriously. hes a great teacher and acts like one. example- he didnt make fun/harass george like basically everyone else did. he taught him and didnt doubt him. same thing with april. when ppl didnt like her in her early seasons he didnt bully her like everyone else

there are a lot of underrated friendships in grey's anatomy, but i think this one is one of the most underrated. They have such a good chemistry
