I live in Atlanta, so I kinda take Blade Show for granted, but I still remember my first one, and everybody needs to experience that.
I like they redesigned the pocket clip to make it thinner more inconspicuous than the original design. I have 112 Slim Select and I took the pocket clip off b/c of how ugly it is...lol 🤣That Sport Pro you have is really nice, btw. 👍 Thanks very much for sharing and Cheers!
Brother, I agree with you ! that pocket clip was a scary thing lol 😆.. don’t know what they were going for on that one, but yes, this one is much better!! One thing I can say about Buck is they are always trying to do better and they listen to their customers
The slim one is EDC. The sport one is way to heavy for EDC. In EDC, with do not just carry a folding knife, but many other little things. For our day to day. So grams are very important. The slim one here do the exact same job, for far less weight. So here is the EDC winner. But I understand your preference, regarding your job and heavy usage.
I carry a Leatherman Wave which is the blade I use for most tasks but if I need a knife that is really sharp then I have a Spyderco Dragonfly in my cargo pocket. It only weighs 1.2 ounces and I love it
I am really jonesing for the 112 sports pro but I keep buying Buck’s fixed blades instead

In my opinion really can’t go wrong with a buck!! But I would definitely say if your interested… It’s a great knife!
Good review... And despite my love for traditional knives, Buck never appealed to me! There's something about their clunky way and that ugly curved grind toward the ricasso!! Maybe I'll try one sometime..

I have Buck 112 slim pro Version 1. It served the purpose I bought it for, which was for taking the pocket clip off and dropping down the pocket of my Casual Slacks I had to wear at a place I was working at the time. I've had absolutely NO other uses for it since. It's too small and I'm not a small knife kind of guy. I'm putting it up for sale now. Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
