I made these falafels in the air fryer. I flatten the balls some so they wil cook through faster. Then sprayed them with avocado oil on both sides, placed on parchment paper in air fryer, baked at 350°F till browned, about 10 minutes, flipped over and baked another 5 minutes. two bits of advice you should try. first for a more authentic falafel use fresh fenungreek leaves in place of parsley if you can find it or kasuri methi (dried fenungreek leaves). second after grating the cucumber salt it and let it sit to draw out some of the moisture and strain it (wire mesh or tea towel) for tzatziki sauce. Thanks for the videos and recipes!

Here you have also GREAT GYROS !!! Simply brown lamb with fresh garlic, dried oregano, cumin and salt and pepper for the meat. I don't bother making it in balls or baking as a loaf and slicing it, just brown/cook in frying pan in larger chunks than for, say, taco meat. To the 'pita ' I add chopped tomato, thinly sliced or chopped red onions, crumbled feta, sliced greek olives, and of course tzatziki. Note: Yes, drain your cucumber for thicker tzatziki and use fresh garlic for even better taste, IMO, finely chopped and mushed with side of knife into a paste, or do in small food processor if you have one. I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Hemp hearts are sooo nutritious! Add them to salads, smoothies, yogurt.
I'm excited to try this, I ate a falafel wrap every single day when I was in Israel and I love tazeki! Thanks girls❣️

Looks delicious. Don't know if I'm going to find all ingredients in my country.
I bake my keto bread in airfryer instead of microwave, my seedcrackers too. Our fryer looks like a mini oven.

Ohhh, I need to make this tzatziki with my homemade yogurt and some dill from the garden. Aaaand the next trip to Costco I'm definitely picking up some hemp hearts. I had no clue they were keto friendly! I wonder what would happen if you put this falafel mix in the waffle maker. Fal-waffle, lol.

If you like tzatziki, you may want to try the vegan tzatziki at Trader Joe’s. It’s popular with both vegans and non-vegans. I would just thin it out a little bit for a sauce. It’s much faster to make then making it from scratch.

Omg I've been craving falafel the last few weeks and thought I'd never be able to again on keto. Thank you, I'm going to the store right now to get hemp hearts! 😅

I made this tonight. It was good. I used fresh garlic, parsley & cilantro. I would add salt next time. My batter was a little too wet. I used the 2T of egg white. Fried them about 2 1/2 minutes. I wish I could post a pic...they're really pretty! 😋

OMG, I have a bag of Hemp Hearts in the fridge that need to be used up and HUGE over wintered parsley & cilantro plants in the garden - perfect recipe for those!! This looks sooooo amaze-balls!! (see what I did there?) And I feel like you could just use lettuce as the wrap to save even more carbs..

Made these 4 dinnee Saturday night. From time I smelled the pulsed mixture knew you 2 hit it out of the park again. - close to that raw falafel snell💪 These and the x-crisoy chaffles are powerful tools 4 beating those carb gremlins.👍🥳

Oh my falafel! Love this recipe so much. I am “technically keto“ as a type 1 diabetic and you two are an amazing pair. I made these and failed the first two times but thanks to y’all I persisted. If y’all can do it, I can do it! Thank you for what you do 😊 love your honest approach to these recipes.

Up thumb for the peeling, too. Removing the seeds and grating just the flesh makes tzatziki less watery, I've found.
