By the way, the car attendant is calling "provodnik", or "provodnitsa", if it is female. "Provodnika" means "the provodnik's", a case change. "Kupe provodnika" is a "provodnik's kupe". It doesn't make any matter for understanding, but you make this mistake at every video, so I decided to explain.

Mariupol is a Russian city. It was founded in 1778 by the Russian Empress Catherine II. The Judeo-Bolsheviks who seized power in Russia in 1917 included this city, like many cities in the Russian southern provinces, into the so-called Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which they created. Thus, modern Ukraine is an artificial entity that received its present borders during the Soviet era. You don't know much about the history of modern Russia, Herr Odermatt).

Best train travel travelogue on TH-cam - no crashing music, no inane commentary and virtual anonymity of the presenter make for great watching. My only gripe is the constant references to the GP War and, in the last two or so videos, failure to reference the fact that Russia annexed Crimea and seeks to weaken Ukraine. That's the really interesting geopolitical issue surrounding your travels to the Caucasus and it would be good to have your observations on those matters if you must introduce history and conflict into your videos. I thought you also missed an opportunity when filming the Buk missile launchers to mention that a Buk missile was found by the joint investigation team into the downing of MH17 over Ukraine in 2014 to be the likely cause of the crash.

1.The Great Patriotic war and the Axis summer offensive of 1942 is a huge part of the history of this region, and where any foreigner who does know about these cities will likely have heard about them from (Rostov-on-Don, Novorossijsk, Stalingrad a little further east, etc..). It's like if someone takes a trip to Guam or Midway island and mentions their history in WW2. Of course they would, anyone who has heard about these places would almost certainly know them from WW2 documentaries they watched.
2.Neither Rostov-on-Don nor Novorossijsk are situated on the Crimean peninsula. You complain about mentioning what is relevant to this territory (WW2), and not mentioning what's not (Crimea annexation). What gives?
3.These aren't Buks but Bal anti-ship missile complexes, and again what's the relevance to the Ukraine here?

15:01 Not possible to prepare fresh-live bliny. Otherwise you will wait too long. Sure there was no full seat - but restaurant prepared it at morning. So they pretty fresh :)
21:50 Yes it is normal, especially out from the big cities where defense and crossing bridges has been built
22:59 Hope you will avoid politics next time. We are trainfans and living in nonpolitical area. I`m russian - and Ukrainians is my brothers and sisters, does not matter for me what is in the heads of politicans
24:07 Interesting fact. Luxury sleeping car located in this train at the front of the train. When a train goes from Moscow - this car located at the end. Funny thing that there is a several turbulence because car located at the train. Some time when speed reaches 100 - 110 - your body literally shakes from left to the right and from up to the down :))))
    27:21 you are right
33:45 Absolutely no AC. In the summer you mass pass out in the cabin because of the overheating. And it is a big challenge between to jump to the non-sun place and sitting in those seats awaiting departure instead of seating in sun places :)))
38:12 by the way - there is 2 types of luxury sleeping cars. First is yours - builded up from 4 standart coupes (1 for room, second for WC). Second one is builded up from 3 coupes - WC does not contain a window - it is small shower and less space. You may recognize this type outside easy - some windows between coupes are without window - they are fully closed with metall.
Thanks for videos. So you traveled in pure FIRST CLASS :)))
