I love the real railway noises (especially diesel locos). Your train videos are my favourite. Informative and relaxing. Thank you from Sydney Australia.
Always a great experience to watch your videos! In a world where travel is limited, your videos without any chatter or commentary in the background helps me feel as if I am traveling. Sometimes I just put it on a secondary screen while I do my work to act as a nice 'window' to the world.
Wonderful doc7austin !! Information, filming and timing are first class - thank you Sir. I can only presume you speak fluent Russian, know Russian Train timetables backwards, and have friends on Russian Railways. Technical information is unparalleled. I have often wondered what Russia looked like. Thanks to your travelogues, now I know. Thank you again. Looking forward to the next installments. Cheers.
You don't need to know Russian to organise such trips. Buying tickets and finding schedules online is really easy. It's no different to travelling in Western Europe.
@@rusmoscow1971 The good, decent people of this World will not be caged for much longer. Those in charge of the craziness that has consumed government's and countries are running out of lies. I look so very much forward to coming to your beautiful country and meeting as many awesome Russians as I can fit into one month long journey. Great channel from a new fan in the Virgin Islands.
Now what could be better than sitting on the loo and the train pulls into the station and you’re on the throne in all your majesty and a couple of hundred others sharing your ablutions, now that would merit a round of applause, you would have thought that frosted glass would be put into that particular frame, all that aside looks like a very good deal and certainly would go on my bucket list
There is a roller blind on a bathroom window which you can use if you have a desperate need to defecate during the stop. On the other hand, I’d rather enjoy the scenery sitting on the loo.
@@vulgarisopinio maybe a one-sided mirror foil could be useful? You can still look outside (it's only darkened a bit), but unless you are really looking very intently and with the lights on, you can't make out all that much looking in. At least, if you have applied it the correct way, of course, it would be a bit inconvenient to look into the mirror in your Adam's or Eve's costume while picking your teeth, while the people outside get a good viewing ;)
Doc:now this train accommodation is the real you. No 4 to a compartment sleeping with strangers and tramps. The chicken soup looked good and I look forward with great anticipation to the next episide.
@@bosman5196 Fajnie było do 2013 roku, kiedy pojechałem na wakacje do Gelendzhik (niedaleko Soczi) bezpośrednio przez Donbas. Ale Majdan 👹🔥👺💥👿 wszystko przekreślił.
Wow great journey, didn't know such a thing as a single tourist train making a 7-day-round-trip existed in Russia, and that luxury! Incredible to have a solo sleeping compartment and bathroom that is that luxurious, for 7 days, all by yourself, for less than 500 euros! One thing I do wonder is; how much does being able to speak (basic) Russian influence the quality of this journey experience? I can imagine the ability to do practical stuff during these short stops is really important, being able to quickly buy food and knowing when the train leaves again. Do you think it's wise for someone who hasn't learned any Russian whatsoever to go and make this journey?
Well, it is even worse than in rural France or Finland: as soon as you drop off at any stop for swift food shopping - you are out of luck if you only wield foreign languages. Even in cities. Remember: learning alien languages in Russia is still a luxury / whimsical hobby for tycoons / weirdos, and the last person to expect such a feat from would be your common minimum-wage slaved retail shop operative.
Good day,i just love the videos you put on TH-cam.I do watch all of them and very interesting when you give info on your trips. Would have loved to travel on this train you travel on .Can only dream about it. I am in South Africa and nothing is going on here regarding train tours. I'm very jelous watching your videos . Thanks for sharing it with us.
Does anyone know when international trains from Russia will start up again? I assume that it will be whenever the neighboring countries approve it, but I have no clue when that will happen. :/
Come to India and enjoy the Indian Railway train journey especially also mixing up with people during travel and getting to know the varied local culture, a lifetime experience for sure.
If this was a USA train, the air condition probably would not work. The bathroom and toilet most likely unclean in the USA trains. But do not forget they would ask for thousands of dollars for the sleeper trains.
What a wonderful trip! Will such accommodations be available again soon on the Trans-Siberian RR? I'm hoping to travel both this route and the TS in the not to distant future, and as a solo traveler, these accommodations are much desired
Your Russian journeys are the best 👍💯 The only thing that is a bit on the downside is the time between uploading vlogs. But, worth waiting for anyway 😉
As someone who is fascinated by railways and enjoys travel this video makes interesting viewing. This trip looks to be excellent value for money, and gives one a real feel for the country, as a non Russian speaker I wonder how one copes with the Cyrillic alphabet. Still if I ever get the opportunity to visit that will not stop me. Excellent video Doc7

Gave me a whole new perspective on travel in Russia. Definitely not what I expected. I might never want to get off.
A wonderful experience watching the great journey, reminiscent of your trans Siberian railway series. Thanks for the entertainment.
Great video.greetings from Italy..
Great video....those trains are Swiss level clean!
I wish we had that here in the USA.
I like the sounds of the trains that put me in the picture like I'm riding too.
Real treat to have your journeys back after the long Covid time. Great video.
Absolutely brilliant once again my friend !!! 🚧🏁🌍 🚂

I love to hear the sounds of the train. 👍
Nice video
Would you like to make a video trip on Moscow Metro? I think that would be great😁
I like the blue coaches. I think there is also a blue liveried train from Moscow to St Petersburg
yes; that blue-livery train is called "Express" (train no.003/004 Moscow - St. Petersburg)
