    I like the steamed/fried ones, too. I buy the Chinese dumplings at Ranch 99 and make dipping sauce with 1/2 soy sauce, 1/2 black vinegar, lots of sliced scallions, and a dollop of garlic chile oil. So good!

      Our two teenagers super duper love the Gyozas half steam and half pan fry 😋👍👍. I just made a big batch today because we finally clear up the space to have access to our 2nd fridge. Moving is no fun Sis!

      @@SoSimYum I hear you about moving. That's why once I plunk myself down, I hardly budge unless I'm forced to. It takes a lot of you, for sure!

    I did it. My oldest child ate 15 dumplings and gave them 2 thumbs up. So happy I no longer have to stock up on Costco dumplings 👍👍👍

      OMG ... how old is your oldest child Sis? Eating 15 dumplings is more than my 16 years old son. So glad he loves them. And yes no more store bought dumplings as these are way better right hehehe.

      He’s 6 chi Nina. I actually got all the ingredients to make more for them. My 6 year old eat 12 and my 4 eat 8 dumplings 🥟 each time now.

    I am such a small Freezer, I wish I can freeze it all at one time like you

      I made a lot of freezer food so I got myself an upright freezer to store all my homemade freezer food and stocks. Since our home is so far away from Asian community, the freezer is a must for me to stock up on seafood and meat.

    Both are equally delicious. I like to eat the chinese wontons with noodle, while the japanese gyoza with rice instead. Thank you Chef for sharing this yummy recipes.

    What’s an easy to find alternative to crab fish sauce?

    • @SoSimYum
      @SoSimYum  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this recipe, you can use soy sauce because this is a Chinese and Japanese dish. Thanks for your question!

    Thank you for another great recipe. I guess I’m making gyoza this weekend and not Banh Bao.
