Everyone wants to draft Wideouts, Runningbacks, and QBs early when really it should be O line first, then D line, and finally Tight ends. Great tackles are what will bring you franchise success, regardless of who’s QB. I would argue LT is the most important position on the field, even though really it’s still the QB. I’ll catch flack for this but I would take Tyron Smith over Deandre Hopkins, OBJ, or Thomas any day of the week.
Baldinger is one of the best at film analysis and he's just as great in these discussions with players. Glad to see the NFL media team has recognized this and is giving us more of his content.
Thats just a combination of god given instinct for the game and preparation through film study. I’m a LB coach and he’s the poster boy of what the two together could be.
Tbh this is enough shows you type of work they do, it was a vid bout this guy breaking film but the whole O line got credit for it.. not like its gonna change w other teams but great vid

I think you have defensive linemen in mind. Offensive linemen are the consensus smartest non-qb players on the field where as d-linemen are the dumbest
No disrespect, but you probably never played organized football before because O-lineman are literally the SMARTEST people on the team. Now defensive lineman, them some dumb muthafuckers lmao..
Please please please please keep making these! It’d be nice to see some linebackers on though. Good to great players at every position in all 3 phases. Only weak spot on that Titans roster is Mariotas health and if he gets injured then we have a great backup QB. That whole roster is loaded.
Lewan is one of those dudes that doesn’t need to bulk to play OL. He’s just a giant human. This dude would be cracking skulls all day on a medieval battlefield or the Wild West.
@@johnyreyes3567 vrable has more super bowl rings than anyone on the titans roster...id say he knows what Hes doing by now. Wherther the titans players do yet remains to be seen.
A lot of people don’t like Taylor Lewan, but I like him. Seahawks fan. The guy is just a good player. I like his swag. He’ll talk trash to anyone and back it up. While protecting his QB as good as anyone. Good player.
This is great for anyone who wonders why your team's line sucks. I played tackle in high school and college, so I can say first hand: playing offensive lineman at an elite level requires a very high level of intelligence and dedication to book and film study. It's easy to get the size, you either have it or you don't. But comprehending all the schemes for every position is no joke.
The best LT after Joe Thomas, Lewan the best LT right now, love u man u are true Titan, TitanUp from titan fan)Taylor when will be Superbowl and rings?
Never realized how much thought and effort went into blocking
Lol go find a 6 6 300 pound man and try to wrestle him come back and tell us how much energy you have left
People don't give linemen enough credit. It's tough work in the trenches

O-line is the spinal cord of a team. Linemen are generally the smartest guys on the field. A rare type of guy with big bones and brains.
Smartest players on the field.
Send this over to ea sports so they can try and understand how blocking works in the NFL
They won't look at it only way is if 2k makes another come back competition breeds innovation and creativity

Kuechly is the man. That guy is so smart and so prepared every single game. Definitely an HOFer in my opinion.
Kuechely or Bobby Wagner would be excellent
As a linebacker I need this ( still got a great linebacker coach though)
Sad);
I’m watching these videos so I can learn when I play o line
Ttv Groodrew same
Good luck to ya on that, not many o lineman are talked about but I am one to say that it is the most important part of the team by far
Groo Drew you are not going to be good
Same here!
LeGM because he has no life
Quarterbacks, Running backs,Even receivers, are nothing without their O-Line 💪🏿💪🏿

It’s good to see a smart offensive tackle using not only his brawn but his brain!

Taylor Lewan - Beast
Decastro gives home a run for his money, but both are awesome
One of the only linemen on the NFL that I have a ton of respect for. And this Titans team is scary good.

oFISHal 1 you have two QB who haven’t played a whole season.plus you lost to the bills with Marcus
What a great video showing how much is involved in being an o lineman and all the subtle nuances that come with playing the position
As a left tackle, I love watching stuff like this
There is so much happening in line play that I just never see at game speed. I love these breakdowns.
