People don't give linemen enough credit. It's tough work in the trenches
Everyone wants to draft Wideouts, Runningbacks, and QBs early when really it should be O line first, then D line, and finally Tight ends. Great tackles are what will bring you franchise success, regardless of who’s QB. I would argue LT is the most important position on the field, even though really it’s still the QB. I’ll catch flack for this but I would take Tyron Smith over Deandre Hopkins, OBJ, or Thomas any day of the week.
O-line is the spinal cord of a team. Linemen are generally the smartest guys on the field. A rare type of guy with big bones and brains.

Thats just a combination of god given instinct for the game and preparation through film study. I’m a LB coach and he’s the poster boy of what the two together could be.
Kuechly is the man. That guy is so smart and so prepared every single game. Definitely an HOFer in my opinion.

@@BartBasquiato no it's not enough there's a lot of footwork, set ups, hand placement when run blocking, how to recover when beat inside or outside, tricks to blocking faster or stronger defenders &more. There's a lot more to being an o lineman than you know

Baldinger is one of the best at film analysis and he's just as great in these discussions with players. Glad to see the NFL media team has recognized this and is giving us more of his content.

Please please please please keep making these! It’d be nice to see some linebackers on though. I’ve scoured the internet for tips and tricks on how linebackers take on second level blocks or their overall film study. I’m tryna play some college ball and it’d be awesome to learn from the best.

Lewan is one of those dudes that doesn’t need to bulk to play OL. He’s just a giant human. This dude would be cracking skulls all day on a medieval battlefield or the Wild West.

One of the only linemen on the NFL that I have a ton of respect for. And this Titans team is scary good.
Good to great players at every position in all 3 phases. Only weak spot on that Titans roster is Mariotas health and if he gets injured then we have a great backup QB. That whole roster is loaded.

This is great for anyone who wonders why your team's line sucks.
I played tackle in high school and college, so I can say first hand: playing offensive lineman at an elite level requires a very high level of intelligence and dedication to book and film study. It's easy to get the size, you either have it or you don't. But comprehending all the schemes for every position is no joke.
For how big Henry is he can run in this tight spaces but Taylor is solid linemen 💪🏼
