How can I get my accuracy better and you are so much help I have been watching your videos for 2 months and I have improved so much my dream is boxing but I need my accuracy better
Tony, I have a bit of a unique situation. I have mild cerebral palsy, meaning my balance is problematic and my ability to perform reasonable footwork is very limited to non-existant. I'm mostly concerned with self-defense, but do you have any suggestions for how to make up for that significant disadvantage, or how I might go about compensating and building the best footwork I possibly can?
Im 19 and im learning boxing on my own so far i wanna become wbc in featherweight and i will join a boxing gym after my exams and tony i have a huge respect for you sir I absolutely love your videos and I learned a-lot from you thank you so much for your guidance sir
good luck also to get recognized be known for something like make sure all of your skills are good but make sure you have a specialty like footwork or powerful punches or speed or like best knowledge in situations
Man i have been slacking on watching some Tony Jeffries videos. Going through a rough time in life but then again who isnt these days. Boxing is my only Therapy. Its my only escape from the world. Where i can just focus on me, myself and i. No responsibilities other than improving my body. To me, boxing is my Paradise. The only thing i regret in life is not starting when i was younger. Its still hard to watch boxing without my Father. If i had one more day with him id take him to a boxing match. Something we always wanted to do but never got the chance. I love Boxing. Now to become a Tony Jeffries 2.0.
I’ve recently started boxing as an older chap (43). Your videos educate and motivate me to get better and stick with it. Thank you for the content, it’s really appreciated 👍🏼
Massive respect to this guy for giving all these info for free. I dont have the money to give him yet, the only thing i can do is subscribe. I came from the other 1hr tutorial and he is amazing. Cheers to him and good luck to my brothers world wide for working on themselves. Lets get it boys.
Shadowboxing is one of my absolute favorite things in general. Ill literally be walking around day to day grocery shopping and randomly throw a combo and head movement lol no reason at all. This is a phenomenal video ylu can yell you out the time and work in.
If I invented a device that gave you an electric shock every time your feet got too close together/your hands went lower than your waist, would you endorse it? Haha. Brilliant video mate I really do love the ones with the menu bar its so helpful skipping back to your favourite bits. All the best lad
The video I was eagerly waiting for....I started practicing boxing earlier this month...nd already have improved a lot because of you and your videos... Thanks man
How long would if it take if I got consistent? I really need to train I know boxing is the one thing I lack so I'm willing to do anything to get better it's a need in my life at this point.
I'll be 44 this year and my MH has kept me in most of this year after losing a close friend, I boxed a little in my youth and wanted to recondition my body and strengthen my mind again. Forgetting almost everything I'd learnt. I can't thankyou enough for producing such a lengthy well explained and broken down easily to follow guide. Such a well thought out piece of content that I will be using to learn from. After warming up I am solely focusing on footwork and learning a stable basis to expand upon. Thankyou brother!

Tony, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the excellent boxing tutorials you've posted over the past few years which have motivated me to join a local boxing club recently and take it to a higher level. I feel so much more confident with footwork, breathing, hand speed, shadow boxing, combinations and head movement, whilst always making sure I have good form. Thanks again for the superb content and your outstanding teaching style. Ian, Lincoln England.
Started boxing at 32, thinking I'd do it just for a leisure sport but seeing these comments here are really motivating me. Worried I'd lose my momentum when I'm away at the in-law's for almost a month but shadowboxing looks perfect to makeup for it!
Yeah, everytime I tried to shadowbox,I would go and punch as fast as I can,roll/slip 100 times in a minute and then I wondered how do some other people don't get exhausted from shadowboxing, probably they are not sprinting* the shadowboxing
3 days ago I decided I want to learn how to box, your videos have been so helpful and motivating for me , although i have no equipment, Thank you so much

Hi, I have started to follow you since a few days. The moment I decided to learn boxing, I searched on google and your channel popped up. Your videos are super easy to follow and in a matter of few days, it feels like awesome. I try to keep playing your video and imitate what all moves you are doing. The 101 guide for beginners is amazing and now this shadow box thing, is very useful for me as I am a sailor. Your videos provided me freedom of working out and learning boxing at the same time. Thanking You, I will watch and learn from all your videos. Thanks, Love from India. 👍🏻👍🏻 👍🏻
Heheheh, I am a girl and I just like how strong boxing makes me feel, well at least watching other people so far. I want to try it out myself. My area doesn't have these kind of classes, I hope this channel is a great place to start while in my own room.
This whole video was super helpful man. For me especially, the footwork portion was great in helping me to get rid of the bad habit of dragging my feet. Thank you so much.
Tony, your vids are fantastic! You cover everything but you're also a great teacher. You recap stuff, you give reasons why you do certain things, your demos are really clear, and you stress perfecting the fundamentals. You've improved my technique a lot. Keep on rockin, mate!
Thanks for the video I never did shadow Boxing before but u have decided to try it after I do my 1000 oi zuki (straight punch) did 5 mins today I am the type of person who wants to learn it properly hench why I subscribed to your channel

More than just a shadowboxing tutorial, this is a great form tuneup overall. Been teaching my daughter how to punch and this is reminding me to think of all the little things I don't think about anymore so I can get her started with good form. Great video and your whole channel is a great boxing resource.
Amazing, I wish I had access to TH-cam and trainers like Jeffries back when I was competitive. You won't find better tips anywhere, Jeffries is the real deal.
Tony - thank you very much - that's just brilliant. Thanks to you i can try to clean all the basics and although it's just a week with you i already feel i'm moving forward. Thanks again and all the best to you.
Thanks for the video. I've always used shadowboxing as a way of mixing up cardio, but I'm always just winging it with no thought to technique. I'm going to start thinking about it, if I'm doing the exercise anyway.
I would love to see a video on choosing boxing gloves. I'm new to the sport myself, but I'm sure others would benefit from your insights too. Thanks and love your videos!
This is a great video man. This is all good for pro fighters in the ring. I would just add to all your tips, if you ever want to shadow box practice for street defence practice palm strikes and slaps instead of hooks instead of closed fists and do everything else the same, because much less chance of injure your hands. This is advice that i would give anyone but especially to boxers, because you box with closed fists all your life in the ring but that is dangerous on the street with 0 protection. On the street you dont have gloves and also bandages to protect your hands from breaking if you miss and hit hard parts of the head like forehead or like elbow. With palm strikes you dont have to aim as much on the street, you can hit a guy even on his forehead and it wont break your fingers or wrist. That is what is amazing about palm strikes and you will also be surprised how much power you can have in palm strikes and slaps especially , they can be as strong as the hooks . And the best thing you dont have to be super accurate on chin, you can just aim to hit the head anywhere to shake the brain basically.
At 9:50 you talk about not dragging your feet, my instructor has taught me to drag my foot when moving backwards maybe just to keep my toes down but not sure Ive been doing it for 4 months
