    As a Nigerian, I find Prophet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie's messages insightful. His teachings on holiness, prayer, and fasting resonate with me, and I have great respect for him as a man of God from Ghana. However, I also agree with Pastor Mensah Otabil's recent statement, which highlights an important truth.

      The truth isn't always binary, it can also be nuanced. For instance, Jesus said, "give unto Caesar...and give unto God...". So you're right, there's nothing wrong with what both men of God said.

    The main purpose of the Christian life is for us to come to the stature of the fullness of Christ Ephesians 4:13 and that why we need apologetics and polemics. There is an Akan adage that, "The one who cuts the path, does not know his back is crocket" Pastor Gideon keep up the good work and the Lord bless you with more insight into His word. Thank you.

    The way things are going now, the church is loosing souls instead of winning them
    I belive an annual non denominational pastors conference to address such issues will go along way to put most of these pastors on track. This is bcos as long as we are humans there's a possibility of the flesh show up from time to time hence these conferences will do a great work as it will continue to remind as of the true purpose of Ministry.

    • @fidelamoah9115

      True. But the problem is most men of God don't want accountability. And that's what is hurting the Church. If Paul could rebuke Peter in his face publicly, I don't see why a pastor should take issue when one comes privately to point out errors.

    • @AdwoaWrites
      @AdwoaWrites 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I always hope and wish for this. There is so much Church Leaders, whether Pastors, Prophets, Teachers, etc can learn from one another. But pride and 'God told me', 'I heard God clearly' nti, it'll take a while to get there.

    Apostle, you have really brought great insight into the subject matter. Our Christian faith is gradually becoming those for the prophetic vs the teaching Ministries. So for one who is a firm believer of the word God (including Eph 4:11), your exposition on this is timely. We must correct each other in love.
    Finally, each of the fivefold ministerial gives must primarily bring about the revelation and glorification of THE CHRIST.
    God bless you, Man of God.

    The African typically loves authority but despises accountability
    Views critism as an attack and those who critise as enemies.
    And Questions as a challenge to authority.
    The truth is what he's preaching is contrary to Proverbs 27:5-6, which says;
    "An Open rebuke is better than secret love.
    Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."

    • @AdwoaWrites
      @AdwoaWrites 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Seriously.
      Pride and ego, AND self deception. We get to a point where are so convinced that we are right and any one who dares correct us is wrong and an enemy.
      And this attitude stands in the way of so much God would have used us for because we would rather respond and argue and make claims against others when we should be listening and learning.

    What is good and bad can only be revealed by God’s Spirit. That is why one needs the Holy Spirit. Yes, there are prophets but the Bible talks of false prophets. There are teachers and also false teachers. Also true prophets and teachers can make mistakes sometimes but with God’s Spirit we can know them all.

You cannot also define how someone should correct someone. When they do wrong, the wrong must be condermed. At least the ones coming will not also make those mistakes. A prophet was sleeping with the girls in ch and instead of exposing you want to call him private. Bible says thy word hv I hiden in my ❤ that I might not sin. If the word cannot shape them what can?

      I'm amazed at how people listen to a message so clear and still hear something else. We know you know a lot, but you can listen and add to your knowledge.
      Prophet Nanasei clearly said those prophets who are in error, most of them have no fathers, and those other pastors attacking them may not have called them to correct them, so how do you expect them to be corrected?
      He even used Pricila and Aquila who corrected Apollos as an example and here you are contradicting the man of God.

      When speaking strongly and firmly on issues as church leaders, it’s essential to maintain consistency. Without this, preachers risk appearing to preach one message while practicing another, which can confuse those they’re meant to guide. We see numerous examples of this inconsistency in various sermons where emotions, rather than the Bible Speak.

    1. Use this platform to preach Christ to the masses
    2. Use this platform to teach the public about kingdom matters
    3. Analysis of other people's msg is okay but not good to me but you can do topical teachings of the scriptures where others can follow
    4. Make a daily service with the public by reaching out to the lost souls and not only to come online addressing other preachings
    5. Your style can be better if you start preaching sermon daily than waiting to impeach or correct.

      The channel you’re currently watching is dedicated to apologetics and polemics, where, in line with verses like Jude 1:3, he engages with questions about faith, defends the gospel, and correct misunderstandings about Christian teachings. Basically, this channel aims to clarify biblical truth and address misconceptions that could lead others astray. We al should be doing this, but unfortunately, we don't. The problem with the prophetic is that most become tin Gods and believe they are God’s mouthpiece forgotten God speaks through them . They become fathers to the followers and direct their marriages and how to raise even their children as if the destiny of the members are in their mouth . People even ask them if the parents are right for them .
    I believe the prophetic is part of the five fold ministry and we need the teacher , pastor , evangelist and apostle to build the church . The prophets establishing churches when the pastors started gagging them not to operate in church and they started the “school park “prayer time , classroom fellowship.
    That is the problem.

    God bless you, Pastor Gideon, for adding your voice. Who in their right senses would not agree with Pastor Mensah Otabil and Prophet Oduro? Every serious Christian must be concerned about what is happening in the church in Africa. Most of these things have affected the church's credibility so much that many people do not want to get close to the church, let alone become Christians. Jesus and the apostles spoke against false prophets as a warning to us, so I do not understand Prophet Sarkodie's problem here. In fact, the sooner we start speaking against these wolves in sheep's clothing, the better for Christianity. Many are leaving Christianity to become Muslims, Hindus, Hare Krishnas, etc., and the sooner we educate people and let them know their actions are contrary to the word of God, the better for us.

    If modern prophesies are from God, then they are divine and inspired and must be added to sacred scripture.
    Modern prophesies are largely about self, that in itself is disqualifying.
    Modern prophesies that states what the bible already says is not needed. As long as people are well taught in the church, they should know the will of God and the workings of God in their lives and in the world.
    The Christian walk is a walk of faith, which means God had intentionally withheld certain information. For example we didn’t need to know that a pandemic named COVID was going to come in our lifetime. All we needed according to God’s wise council, was that there will be sickness in the last day and even that is not an indication that the end is near. Itchy ears grave for details, as if they in themselves has any transforming power.
    Modern prophesies are not the sole prerogative of christians, there are unbelievers who see into the future, and it comes to past. It means nothing, if you know your bible.

    There is no prophetic office today. Quote scripture in its context and that’s the conclusion you’ll get to.
    What is prophesy? It is simply God’s word to his people concerning his grand work of redemption. It is simply a message about the gospel, the work of Christ. Every prophesy in the Bible pointed to, culminated in, and found their fulfillment in Christ. Future prophesies in the Bible points back to Christ to have their meaning and efficacy.
    There is nothing anybody can say today to add to what Christ has achieved in his life, death, and resurrection which is the sure foundation of future prophetic fulfillment. Therefore, modern prophesies are unnecessary because they add nothing new to scripture. And when they cannot be verified by scripture, they are best equated to fables, period!

    Why is it that, when you criticize or you speak against the blatant nonsense going on in the body of Christ, people call it condemnation.
    I now understand, if this man is in relationship with Michael Oropko, it's no wonder he is speaking like this. Why can't he speak to Michael Oropko for him to stop telling super exaggerated stories in his preaching and also to teach the scriptures and not his feelings.

    No man is called to judge another man's servant. The pastors are doing too much
