Sometimes photography is more of an excuse for me to not sit around at home. That I get to practice and maybe take a cool photo is more of a bonus at those times.
Hey! Loved the video as usual, especially the self portrait in the car mirror! I walked round my home town recently trying to think like a tourist, it's a good exercise and so true that it's not always about the photos you get but about the act of actually going out and taking pictures. (and a new account for me, maybe inspired to have a go at video! Been following you from the start though, my favourite channel for artistic inspiration!) Elle x
Love your video!!! I myself find ways to remotivate myself with the same boring walk around the places you have available to you... Thank you for this inspirational video!!!
Ruts and un-inspiration can be hard to shake. Great tips, with examples of how to deal with this condition. Entertaining, thoughtful, and thought-provoking, thank you!
Hi Flora! I enjoy your videos, thanks a lot for the fun and inspiration. I tried also shooting at different times, and in my opinion it’s not only the light which is different, the people on the streets change also during the day, like in the film Koyaanisqatsi. Have a nice weekend!
This was so refreshing.😊 Boredom is sometimes a real problem if one happens to live in a small city. Liked your ideas and probably will try some of them. Your channel has become one of my favourite photography related channels on TH-cam. Keep doing good work, Flora 👍📷
Excellent! It's so nice to see examples of your talent because you have it. What bores me is your examples of the talent of others, or lack thereof. Kudos to your camera person. They do well also. Black and White seems to be a natural for your city. Thanks for the emphasis on YOUR talent because that's what I'm here to see. 👍👍👍
Yes, it was useful. We spend the most part of our time in a place where seeing something is a challenge. This is serious. As photographers, we risk a breakdown! So thanks for your help and our great photos !
For a long time I chose to shoot in B&W instead of color. It just seemed easier for me to convey what I intended in a B&W photo. Then, I started to shoot in color more and more (I bought some color film "on sale"). Now, I go through phases. For a while I will eagerly shoot in B&W, then for some unknown reason, I will eagerly shoot in color. I guess my mood just changes for which one I desire to shoot.
Sorry if the SOUND of the video is a little bit weird here and there! Promise to be better in the next one 🙏♥️☺️📸
Hi Flora, your video makes sense, wherever you live gets boring at times. But tomorrow is another day of new inspiration. Great video 😀
Sometimes for me, changing the focal length of the lens to say 85mm instead of a 50mm makes a photo walk feel new and completely different.
Wonderful subject and video! Something I definitely struggle with and seeing you deal with boredom in photography in a creative way is so inspiring!
Tus fotografías no son nada aburridas para mi. Gracias por las apreciaciones sobre este tema.
Thank you for the video 🙏🏻
It's as if you need to find the intimacy of a place in order to shoot it.
I really look forward to your videos each week. They are such a treat!

Some great pictures...but Littertray Cat is the hero we need! 🦸♀

There is no camera person, just me! Yeah BW suits this city, it's true

Your video is just fine, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the great video. Honest and open with great photos too. Excellent!
I often find myself driving around cause of my job and really been tempted to bring my camera along when goin from town to town.
So many great ideas to make you fall in love all over again with the same old place. Gonna try a few on a photo walk today.
I like the way you "reboot" when your mind stops working ;). Keep up the great work.
This was already fun, Flora. Looking forward to the even more fun challenge you're going to set for yourself next time.
3:20 is nice
Most excellent!

I think, the places are not boring, because you are able to find interesting perspectives.🎉
Just chiming in to say I love those narrative ruptures and your sense of humour ;) How can one get tired of the seaside ?!
And please show us more of your pictures !
Thank you for watching! And for your comment 😊
You probably have new places to go to you haven't been to yet. Bring a friend to photograph. Try out a new film or camera etc..Museums etc...
