I am absolutely in love with Cleo's dynamic that whole season. From reluctant parent to single mother to scathing critic of Ethos, it was a joy to watch play out here.
This was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I love your take on many scenes (like cleo trying to save Scar from Joel's TNT minecart, the flashback to DOuble Life as Bdubs is elliminated, & the flashback to 3rd life when Scar is killed by Grian). The effects of the boogyman being the fault of the watchers and the glitch-effects like when Gem was in control of cleo's account for that one session are so good as well! The emotion conveyed in this is just amazing!
@Rio Mayer it's lore set up by Martyn (InTheLittleWood), that the others don't really do but which incorporates whatever iti s that they do. The main part of the lore is that these death games are set up by the Watchers, all powerful beings from all the way back on EVO SMP, to feed on the pain, only for Grian, who had, canonically on EVO, been made a watcher at the end of his time there, to show up to mess up the games.
Every scene with Etho was perfect because he was just like "well this is awkward: and the kids were like "Dad! Oh, our most excellent father, how art thou?" And I especially noticed how you did the joining heart lines and multiple scenes, and I appreciate that, it was a nice touch. Also, Bdubs reaction to killing Skizz and the family's reaction towards him was excellently executed with the animation. (Also I loved how Bdubs and Scar were holding banners at 0:36 that had "Mom" written on them for support while she burned down the mansion. Their whole dynamic as the innocent but very supportive siblings was a hilarious part of Limited Life.
This animatic made me realize that grian straight up game ended the entire team, he killed cleo, then kept cleo scar and bdubs in place while he tried to kill them which lead to impulse game ending bdubs, and killing cleo, then grian game ended scar and called in his team to game end cleo
This was amazing I love the way you made each individual interaction have so much story meaning and the way you showed each of their deaths was incredible
I love how you drew everyone (especially Cleo) and you matched the animatic and story beats to the beat of the song really well! (also animating something for almost FIVE minutes is a very impressive feat)
This was truly amazing loved all the bits and pieces that were scattered throughout this whole animatic I Even almost let out a tear when Bdubs died 2:55 and the clock read mommas favorite boy in all great job hope to see more of your work in the future

I was kinda hoping to see the whole 'Cousins next door' bit, 'cause I really liked the bad boys, but honestly, showing them as the villains made more sense.

It’s weird how both BDubs and Scar’s series’ were ended by their soulmates in Double Life. Pearl was the only other I think who had that too. But also, watching this hurts so much. Watching Cleo see BDubs and Scar die and being unable to stop it. The pain on her face is so evident with your art. Fantastic.

You draw everyone so uniquely and amazing! The main focus was on the clockers but I can tell you spent so much time on the others too! Your vision of the Bad Boys was spectacular and one of the best I’ve seen for one not focused on them. I also loved the way you drew Tango. Your art style is amazing and I could tell who each person was by all the little details you added. And of course overall the whole video was amazing! The music was perfect and I love how you showed their deaths! 10/10! ❤
This is amazing. There are so many parts that I just want to pick and say how much I love them, but that will get long so I’ll pick just a few. -The way Bdubs felt remorse after killing Skizz, just showing how the boogeyman curse makes the person lose control and kill without a thought/care, only to leave regret behind when they realize what they did after the curse leaves. -Just, all of the Etho stuff. With Scar and Bdubs being happy he’s over, while Cleo isn’t. And then the game of catch. Cleo’s protective anger, Scar’s being very upset/hurt, and Bdubs being hurt but forgiving. -The Double Life flashbacks as Bdub’s dies, how Scar just stares at where he was, processing the shock of it all, how sudden it happened. (And then Grian backing down when Cleo stands protectively in front of him) -The way Grian just lands behind Scar is lowkey horrifying. But then the 3rd Life flashbacks as Grian kills him- now that one startled me more then it should have. Just that whole scene in general, from Scar’s reaction to Cleo arriving too late and having to watch Scar die, unable to help him. -Which leads to her fierce anger upon his death. How see charges Grian mercilessly and has flashbacks to Bdubs and Scar (which makes me realize that Grian was present for all three of their deaths). Just how desperate and pained she is, she cared so much about them, was so protective. But then they died, and she was helpless to save them, to protect them. It just makes me realize how tragic this all this. And then once again going back to the Double Life flashbacks as Pearl attacks her. Cleo’s resignation as she’s on the ground, realizing her end is nigh. -And, lastly, the ghost reunion. Scar and Bdubs already enjoying being together, and then Cleo’s emotional reunion with them. I loved watching that in their videos, it just fits their dynamic so much, so seeing that reaction before the audio plays just adds to this even more. They may have died, but they’re still together. -I said lastly, but that was following the video. Overall comment is how close knit all of them are and just and happy moments between them, the comforting when something bad happens. I just love the Clockers’ dynamic and you captured it so well. Definitely one of my favorite teams for their dynamic alone. This became more ranty than I intended, but this is amazing and I couldn’t help myself. Time to just watch to this on repeat now! Edit: I’m restraining myself from just talking about every scene because then this would get very long. Just know that I enjoy all parts of all of this a lot.

i love the imagery of even the random deaths having like. actual emotional effects on them rather than just being a thing that happens
The life series has to be the one series that can replicate the emotions of a movie without being staged.
