GINZA GADO-SHITA NIGHT WALK

2023 Nov 28, Tues, 58°F -- Our Ginza gado-shita (railway tracks) night walk took us from the Marunouchi area to Ginza's main thoroughfares - Namiki-dori, Harumi-dori, and Chuo-dori. Along the way, we experienced the dazzling Marunouchi Holiday Illumination, marveled at the vibrant atmosphere of Shimbashi's nightlife scene, discovered urban surprises along bustling Corridor Gai and charming yokocho alleys, and sampled delicious taiyaki from a kitchen car, known as yatai in japanese. With its vibrant energy and festive spirit, Ginza is truly a shining star in Tokyo, just like a star in a Christmas tree casting a festive glow over the entire neighborhood. Ginza's buildings shimmer with colorful displays, creating a magical atmosphere that's spreading warmth and cheer to all who visit. When in town, cross the bustling the famous Ginza Crossing along Harumi-dori and Chuo-dori and make your own history!!
