HAKONE 箱根町

2023 Dec 06, Wed, 57°F -- This vid is day#2 of our Hakone trip. From Hakone-Yumoto station, we bought the day pass and did the forward course to visit the Hakone Open Museum and Gora via the historic Tozan Train, Owakudani via cable car/ropeway, cruise Lake Ashi via the pirate fleet to Motohakone-ko port and finally bus back to Hakone-Yumoto. The outdoor museum was screaming in red crimson koyo. The odor from the continuous sulfur steam coming out from the active caldera in Owakudani was strong. AND, the best part of this trip was the sight of majestic Mt Fuji from Owakudani. We were not that lucky in Lake Ashi where the sky was clouded and Mt Fuji was sadly occluded.
