I have a quick question I am new. I just bought my M1 ex tool not even a month ago trying to get through to tech-support is a joke my machine when I turn it on for some reason it literally makes a jumping sound and the laser wants to go forward. It doesn’t wanna go side to side, any ideas?
I’m sorry. I’m very new at this. 2 questions… 1) Will this fix the “not cutting all the way through” problem? My M1 stopped cutting all the way through the bass ply wood… 2) what does it mean when you say “laser drop”? Laser drops? 😅
3mm bass plywood is about as thick as you can cut and sometimes it takes multiple passes. The glue in the wood causes the issue of not cutting. The more glue in the wood the less it cuts through. Laser drop, is due to un clean sensors in the mother board directly attached to the laser. If gone un cleaned for long periods of time the laser will actually drop out of its carrier and will have to be reset.
Yes they can be a pain. Make sure you have the correct size Phillips head screwdriver (very important that it’s a snug fit and the screwdriver does not wobble when trying to loosen) counter clockwise to loosen.
@@Bubblestheghost if the laser has not completely dropped out, after you clean it it will return to its normal position. If it drops all the way out you have download the reset software and retract it back up in the laser box so the gears can roll it back up.
Thank you so much, my project cut fine 4 times, then started burning each piece, I followed your video and it has cured the problem, once again, thank you!

This sounds like the main ribbon cable maybe damaged.

Would this be the same reason the blade housing drops out?
The blade is held in by a magnet, but if the blade housing and laser drops together, it will be the same problem.
Thanks, it's just the blade housing only that falls out
I die all that way, thank you. But now how to fix laser head ???
I can’t get the screws out please help

So you do all of this while the laser is dropped? And after it’s cleaned and reassembled, I turn it on and the laser will go back up?
