    Hey, please list what model # of Fox shocks you chose. Did you go with the ones made for the 4 inch lift in the front and the ones for a 2.5 in the rear or...?

      4”. I always go longer vs shorter. If it’s not in the description of the video if you can reach out to me on Instagram messenger I can relay there. I’ve shot them to a few people

    You did your home work, its a good lift choice... the single rate 850J/863 (220#/250#) hybrid combo is a good old school lift. It has worked for 80 series rig owners for over 20 years.... You will be happy with for awhile then when your finally tired of those constant 250# rear coils bucking you around like a Bronc Horse you still have a choice to enter into the 21st century by going to dual rate coils that don't buck or rear up on you when braking while turning in corners. Another thing to consider is replacing all your rubber control arm bushings... I just did this to my Lx & it transformed the handling while in turns & hard breaking situations. Oh one more thing... loosen all those control arm bushing & panhard bolts a bit to aid in the swapping of the coils plus it will untwist or reset the rubber to your new ride height. GodSpeed Bro.

      I chose them mainly so I can tow still and wanted to have a bit stiffer spring. Hoping that pairing them with the fox shocks will help smooth it out. So far so good. Going to do the front lift tomorrow. Ran out of time today due to so many bolts breaking .
      Good call on the control arm bushings. I think over time I will replace them and the Panhard with adjustable ones. We will see how it goes

      No spare as of yet. Will need to get that worked on next but I’m going to move it inside or do a hitch carrier/tire carrier

    I know you avoided talking about how much the parts cost "in that box", but it would be nice if folks would talk about costs. We just purchased an 80 series with high miles (of course....it is 20 years old). But would really like some idea of what we are facing in costs to get it "renewed". I want to keep it stock possibly. But it is going to need some TLC granted. Thanks so much.

      Absolutely. I avoid it because my wife watches these videos! Lol but ask away and I’ll help with anything I can. Slee offroad has all of their prices on line too for reference

    Hey my friend, I just got my SLEE 3" lift kit, wanted to ask if you has welded the plates or not, is that mandatory, I am not a welder but I can buy my welding machine for that.... Please allow me your feedback

    • @FreedomCrawler
      @FreedomCrawler  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! That’s a great kit. So far I have not welded them on, to be honest though those bolts have them sandwiched in place extremely well. If I ever have a welder handy I will add a few beads but until then I don’t think I will run into any issues. Only time will tell though but it’s very solid
