Queen just signed a massive deal with SONY to sell their entire catalog for a record breaking $1.2 BILLION DOLLARS! More than any other artist or group in history including The Beatles and Michael Jackson. A testament to their talent and popularity.
I just hope that Queen's music will live on ... that Sony won't block reactions to Queen's songs and videos on TH-cam because till now Queens productions didn't block any video reaction because they wanted 👑 music to reach younger generations. Sony on the other hand is known to be a big blocker on TH-cam ... 😟
@@iris67si Hopefully Queen Productions will have put a clause in the sell-on contract
@@iris67sioh no.
Yes and the Sony boss has said no free Queen on streaming like TH-cam. It won't happen until contracts run out.
This track consistently ranks amongst my 3 greatest ever Queen songs...My Faves have shifted over the years, but Liar is always hovering at the top.
This was written by Freddie way before Queen existed. It took a lot of encouragement from Freddie to get Johnny to sing with him and solo,as John did not naturally seek the limelight. My favourite early song of theirs. I've been a fan since 71.
If you haven't done Death on two legs their diss song which you will love but first do flick of the wrist which was Freddie's first shot at their manager,he ignores it hence death in two legs . Never ignore freddie.trust him to expose this man via a song. I'll check when and where for flick, death on two legs it's best to use lyrics video as there is no full live version. Flick also at the rainbow x
This is my fifth time leaving the same suggestion.
Get Down Make Love and Another One Bites the Dust. In Milton Keynes. Different version of the one you heard.
One of my favorite live performances!! Freddie encouraged John to sing the bridge with him which is rare because John didn’t sing or the stage crew lowered his mic. 😀 But! IMO, John is the *STAR* ⭐️ here with those fast fingers on the bass. Freddie wrote this song loosely based on some not-so-nice experiences he had at boarding school in India!! 🇮🇳 The whole band is on top of their game!! May I recommend MY FAIRY KING & BRIGHTON ROCK .. 🧚♂️🧚🏻♀️🧚
One of my favorites for sure. Now do in the lap of the gods from the same show. Roger will blow you away
John Deacon killing some backing vocals, showing off in bass-feature AND looking sexy af !
AWESOME bass by Deacy 🔥
Just love his flying fingers in this one.
One of my favorite things about this one is how they feature every member doing their thing, LOVE IT!!
Freddie to Rogers drumming (at the other venue): Sock it to them, Rog! 😮😅😂
But what I like the most in this astonishing song and Freddie's performance is JOHN'S SINGING 😮! He said that he can't sing but he has a nice voice ❤
He says “SOCK it to ‘em, Rog ! “ , not what you said ! 😆
@@imweakfordeaky 🤣 ups 🤣
Death on two legs ❤
Yeah love seeing John next to Freddie singing back ups.
Queen did jazz, funk, soul, gospel, disco, callipso, ballads, metal, rock & roll, waltz, blues, opera, folk etc. There isn't much they didn't try. Maybe you should try "Dreamers Ball" or "Millionaire Waltz" or "All Dead" for some variety. There is just so much more to Queen.
"'39" for a sad, lovely science fiction story, "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" for something olde fashioned and sweet. I could recommend every Queen song, but I'll reel it in.
Check out Cool Cat. Freddie sings the entire song in falsetto. He plays the electric piano and John Deacon plays all other instruments. Also check out Now I’m Here Multicam Roger Taylor. Cameras are focused on Roger and to watch him perform this song is unbelievable! He said it’s the hardest song for him to play.
Nothing repetitively simple about Queen's music. Fantastic performers, always in sync! .
You have absolutely fantastic reactions! Thank you. There are millions of Queen fans around the world, from Australia to Japan and beyond. Let's all continue together!
HEY PRADA!
What GOOD timing, Thank You!!
(Just found out that my oldest friend is in hospice, so I’ll be listening to a LOT of Freddie today to cheer myself up.)
Hey Marcie! I’m sorry about your friend! 😢🌻
@@debramoore7513 🫶It’s happened quite quickly, so I think my brain hasn’t actually “caught up” to what’s happening.🙏
White queen….amazing!!🎼❤️🎼🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks for your reaction. I enjoy watching "Liar" as each one of them gets their spotlight in this song!
Blondie killing it on the drums!
I think you’ll really enjoy reacting to White Queen 1974. It’s from some of their early work
Yep…but White Queen at the Hammersmith Odeon is slightly better.😉
@@ginalaperuginanyc7641 definitely. That’s the concert I was thinking of.
Go John
Hey loving your Queen reactions, this concert at the rainbow would be a great concert for you to do, it’s really a fun concert ❤
In The Lap Of The Gods at the Rainbow 1974. The short song in the middle of the concert. Roger's backing vocals are dog whistle high!
just 3 instruments are played in this performance
This entire concert was great and Liar is one of my favorite Queen songs. Phew! I was a junior in high school in '74 and thought Freddie was the sexiest man on the planet. (Still do). 💕
They were excellent in this performance….everyone got their chance to shine …….a special mention about the Ace of Bass, John Deacon who was 23 years old in this vid…..Hi John, we hope you’re keeping well🌺
0:13 Thank you, IM from Indonesia, Im subscribe you🇮🇩🥰🥰
I love this song and this performance. The changes add a lot of drama to the song and every band member has their showcase moment also.
Roger: The start of the song
Freddie: The entire song
Brian: At the guitar solo and in other parts of the song
John: The bass solo
This entire televised concert is excellent. Yiu might consider reviewing this concert and the televised Live at the Odeon Hammersmith 1975
When Freddie Bulsara wrote the song the title was Lover, and later on Queen with Freddie Mercury 🙃in the band transcribed the whole thing.
Can you react to Son And Daughter (Live At The Rainbow)?
Still hardly making any money. Hungry for fame.
They made money that year for Killer Queen unfortunately they didn't see any of it That's why Freddie wrote Death On Two Legs.
Good Old Fashioned lover boy is a favorite of mine. Check it out
I love everything this band QUEEN DOES . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ROCK GOD'S... Thank you PW..
He may actually be talking to his father who was a strict Zoroastrian as well as his mother.
this is from their first (my favorite) album.
Glad you made it to the beginning. You should do more from the Rainbow, there are alot of songs you have never heard. There are alot of catholic feelings for mr in this song. Freddie did go to a catholic boarding school for awhile. Always wonder if something happened back then and was called a liar.
Love this song 🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️
Have u ever listened to The March of the black Queen? U will not believe what Freddie could do whit his voice! U have to listen 3 times or more to find out how complicated this song is
It’s from Queen 2
I’ve never heard this song before and for me it’s great to hear these songs. I’ve never heard before because then it makes me feel about what these songs are about and whether I like them or not but honestly, I still like this song Freddie Mercury it’s just a great entertainer he was I should say, terribly missed. I really believe that. Queen was amazing with Freddie Mercury and I really wish I could’ve seen them in concert but unfortunately I was 12 and they were overseas. But I do have their CDs and I definitely will treasure them because of the fact to me he was a great entertainer and he could get a crowd going, and in case, no one knows who I’m talking about Freddie Mercury. Queen will forever be a great treasure.
recommend you to check out the Queen wembley Impromptu music video💥 / johanna
Great one,,I also LOVE rock in rio blues❤
Love your Queen reactions.
Love this…great reaction!
Yeah that’s what I get he’s praying “I love this” ❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
Queen's catalog is HUGE! It's going to take a while to get through it. 😂 It's worth it though. You do really need to do "Death On Two Legs" and "I'm Going Slightly Mad". Neither has a live video, for various reasons. There's a lyrics video for the first, and a regular video for the second. You will not be disappointed. I promise.
THAT is what is called pouring yoirself into a song. Oh those 70s. The backbone of the Queen sound.
Ogre Battle,please..Live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975❤
If you like change ups and surprises… gotta listen to march of the black queen by queen… listen to album version… there’s only one live version but it’s short and a medley version.
Would love you to react to some k d lang she started out in country punk as they called it she called it torch & twang music Turn Me Round on the Johnny Carson show is brilliant or Three Cigarettes in An Ashtray also her version of Roy Orbison’s Crying from his tribute or her MTV unplugged is fabulous ❤ x
I don't mind, but 7:25 does make me doubt the "FIRST time" narrative... :D
ItismyFreadyboy..,......It is King.......!!!?!!¡!????!!?!!!!!!;;;;;;+++
You should react to Stevie Ray Vaughn, anything by him is so great.
There's a band called Ghost. So many great songs.
This is my favorite version of the song Liar.
Mamma mia che spettacolo, insuperabili
One of my favorites ❤
The jam reminds me of Cream.
Gotta check out Jude Cole "Start the Car" whole CD is Awesome!!❤
Whitney Houston I will always love you ❤
