Yaris one of the Value for money of Toyota. But in india "Jo Road pe dikhta hai wahi bikta hai" and secondly before buying and enjoying the ride of car, we start thinking of resale. But this man has taken a wise decision of taking this sedan. Good choice Mallik Bhai.
Atul Singh I don’t think it’s value for money , yes it’s a decent product but has many many drawbacks , the pricing in the start was a mess till the time 3 airbag variants came , features are less , touchscreen is pathetic looks like 5k one aftermarket , performance is the lowest in the segment when compared to ivtec , tsi , vtvt or even ciaz and also the mileage isn’t there as expected , the positive points are good spacious practical cabin , good drivability and handling and Toyota service that’s it
@@krishchaudhry2222 I agree with some of your points, No car is perfect, Honda city has also some drawbacks like low ground clearance and cabin noise at high RPM, but the reason making it value for money is the reliability of Toyota and after sales service.Comparing it with Ciaz is not correct. The Sedan with Poorest build quality I have ever seen. Now Hyundai India is following little bit to Maruti. What ll you do with the features when you won't be there to use it. But in India people are least bothered about the safety. Looks - Everyone has its own choices. "Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder"

I have a May 2019 VX CVT. Mileage is almost always 15+ in city. My daily commute is Delhi to Noida, around 40kms each side.
Positives:
1. Safety - 7 Airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, TC, VSC, HSA and Build Quality.
2. Service Cost - With the Smile package costing INR 2800 (valid for 2 lakh KMS), my 2nd service of 10,000kms was ZERO rupees.
3. Toyota's reliability.
4. Paddle Shifters - The car may not be VERY powerful but paddle shifters enable me to downshift and overtake immediately.
5. Silent Cabin - VX variant comes with sound and vibration control glass which makes the cabin super quiet.
6. The gearbox masks the rubber-banding effect of CVT quite effectively.
7. Power adjustable driver seat.
8. Roof mounted second row vents.
9. Mileage, as mentioned above, is almost always above 15kmpl. I have got 20ish on highways.
Negatives:
1. Looks. Although subjective, one of the reasons this car doesn't sell. The attempt to make the front grille resemble Lexus fails.
2. Suspension is slightly on the stiffer side. Although a positive at high speeds, this gives a thud sound when you drive over expansion joints, bumps etc.
3. Steering is very slightly heavy. Could have been more sharp.
4. Wheels look smaller. Plus, diamond cut look would have been better.
5. No Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
6. Lack of accessories. Toyota sells the limited options at a premium. In the market outside, you won't find anything.
Most third class Car in India is Toyota . Complaining the company about poor and defective suspension for the last one year, since the day of purchase June 2019, but no satisfactory response is there so far. I am suffering badly from the jerks of the car daily. But, the company is so adamant that neither it rectifies the suspension nor it replaces the defective product. This is the biggest mistake of my life. I would never advise anyone to purchase this car.

I am owner of yaris 2019 ,1st service charged Rs 800/- approx and second 10000 kms service charged only 1750/- only. This is toyota ..no maintenance at all

@raj You don't need two services per year. Do one service and then after 6 months do oil change from some local mechanic. Oil will cost 850/- only + 20 rupees to mechanic.

Indeed looks are subjective , but really its reliable, comfortable, solid. This video helped me a lot to buy this car over others.

The dash board is perfectly placed sir. Otherwise reflection of dashboard will come to drivers eyes....many cars have this defect....so to prevent Toyota has inclined it towards the windscreen

I have owned a Toyota Yaris G CVT(with 7 transmission system) in 2018 and already crossed 21000 km. In city milegue is around 11km - 14 km and highway milegue around 17 km - 20 km per litre and highest milegue has been recorded 23km per litre. Superior ride quality, Solar absorbing glass and acoustic vibration glass has made it most silent cabin. It has highest safety features in it class with 7 airbags ABS, EBD & BA. It is very stable car at high speed. I don't think other automatic car is giving better milegue in petrol.

Everything is great about this car, except the music system. The Factory fitted touchscreen looks obsolete & after market and has no Android Auto or Apple Carplay. I hope Toyota updates that in 2021 Yaris.

Etios ka engine retune karke laga diya space Etios se kam hai front arm rest pichlee seat mein aa gya hai top variants too costly , sirf safety pe dhyan de diya 7 airbags deke aur woh bhi abhi Punjab mein incident hua khule nahin, it was dead on arrival only thing that would have saved it was cost and Toyota love to overprice it's cars but this is not something special in front of Honda City Verna ciaz or even rapid/vento, Toyota ki rehtee sehtee kasar nikal dee es Gaddi ne , es ke baad bechare Toyota Maruti ban gye

Have V CVT variant , as a car it is very good never felt any problem. Mileage is good 11-12 in full bumper to bumper city traffic and 15-17 for long highway trips.
Car is stable and as sedan it is very comfortable as well. Rear seat is best suited for 2 adult and a kid but 3 people can be accommodated.
Main reason why it did not sell.well is sales and marketing unit of toyota india. They dont overglamorise like kia, even they don't bribe paid so called TH-cam/Auto reviewers.
Glad this channel doesn't have to be dependend on company whom they review.
Whenever a car is launched the car company invites free of cost all those paid reviewers, who does nothing but marketing and we think they are reviewing a car fairly. How can they be fair when they are getting paid for whatever they are doing by the company itself 😁
