Honda City vs Toyota Yaris - Hindi comparison

- The Honda City and Toyota Yaris both come with a 1.5-litre petrol and manual and automatic CVT gearbox options. The cars come loaded with features like automatic headlamps, cruise control, automatic AC and even multiple airbags. But which one makes more sense? Here is my hindi review.

I own a Honda city MT and yaris vx cvt. Both are excellent cars. But I prefer Toyota for its comfort and ease of driving. CVT is super smooth. The suspension is better than Honda. The only thing which puts me off is the entertainment system lacking android auto and Apple car play. Regarding safety, no compromise.
Comparison is not accurate. Missed to talk about many loaded futures in Yaris such as hill assist, front sensors, 7 air bags. You did not talk anything about safety. Safety is a big a aspect in any car. Please review end to end else it will be misleading...
Toyotas are cheaper to maintain. But since honda city is in the market for 22 years, you get OEM parts every where and at a price less than showroom. Over all, Honda city has an edge. But if you are looking for a CVT and want to keep the car for long and many Kms, Toyota cvts are more matured as Toyota has mastered the art of making reliable CVT transmission.
Toyota CVTs are providing time be pathetic in terms of FE. Honda CVT s too are equally reliable.
What about airbags of toyota 😁
Myself Toyota corolla EE90 use from 1991 cvt gear box. Still it’s running very well no problems. If you came Bangladesh and visit here than you See almost 90% car from Toyota and 99% people use automatic transmission system. Its more more reliable than manuals transmission.

@@tejas4543 I have driven 58000 Km as of now. My overall milage is 15 Kmpl till date, and highway milage is 19-21 (90kmph speed), city milage is 12-14 kmpl (depending on traffic)..
Service cost is
Rs 1700 - 10k
Rs. 1700 - 20k
Rs. 5200 - 30k
Rs. 4800 - 40k
Rs. 5300 - 50k
Extra works - Battery replaced- Rs. 3800, Wipers replaced Rs. 780
For me comfort matters more in any car so toyota is my favourite.

One thing you have not mention is that the new BS 6 Honda Engine creates more noise than Toyota yarrish. The honda inside cabin noise is more than that of Toyota.
Yaris g optional and j optional with three airbags there...is affordable...with aloy wheels and all disc brakes..only info system is missing

Hi Sir! can you please recommend one out of cvt petrol for a student(city use, daily 25-30 Km use). I am getting a great discount on the yaris base j optional(cheapest) while I am getting Amze s cvt. My budget is 30 lac and want top variant of Honda or Yaris or alswin. After listening dozens of reviews, I have decided to book top variant of yaris coz of its re-sale value. However, I couldn’t see bonnet after sitting in Yaris. Seat height is now an issue although I am 5.5 ft. Now I am confused wether to book it or not. Alswin is good but hesitant coz of being new in market whereas Honda price is too much.

Would definitely buy City over Yaris because of overall cabinspace. Yaris looks small from exterior & it can compete with Vento or Rapid but no competition to City. Its stupid on part of Toyota to price it close to City.

Honda s have a pretty bullet proof engine if it's naturally aspirated engine with manual transmission. Avoid cars having DCT, Dual clutch, turbos, GDI technology, 3 cyl engines.

Agree. Turbo engines have less life compared to naturally aspirated. GDI have even lesser life span. DCT are expensive to repair and last less in day to day traffic.
Best thing is Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder with Manual or torque converter gearbox.
