    Great video, thanks for showing us this. I want to change the coolant in my ER-5 and the plugs. Thanks

    Hello ! What's the size of the wrench you are using for the spark plug ?

    Hejsa. Hvordan pokker får du tændrørene af? Jeg kan slet ikke få dem af. En 18mm tændrørsnøgle er for tyk til at komme ned i hullet som tændrøret sidder i. 16 og 17mm er for lille til tændrøret….

      Jeg kan ikke huske det, men er sikker på jeg brugte en tændrørs-top, hvilket er smallere i det end de normale lange toppe

    dude, how do you let the air bubbles come out like that? isnt engine running necessary for it? if it is, how do you do it when the fuel tank is off? thanks

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah sure the engine needs to warm up and the thermostat has to open to cycle the system. I think I show it in my carb video how i make an external fuel tank 😁

    good job bro, i want to do it myself on my ER5 but im not sure how to drain and take off the tank.. any tips?

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks! Make sure you have a funnel and a fuel can to empty the tank by unplugging the hose on the other side of the tank. Make a fast bent on the hose when it comes off and put the hose towards the funnel which leads into the fuel can. This will empty the tank. Good advice is to open the fuel cap before emtpying the tank.
      Do you have the service manual? It will explain how to remove the tank. Otherwise check out er5.atw.hu/letoltesek/Kawasaki_ER5_C5_2004_Service_Manual_ENG.pdf page 59

      Thanks for you sharing the manual, it's helpful ! When empty the tank by unplugging the hose, unplug which one first to lead the fuel? The manual on page 59 show A and B hose, i dont know which one will lead the fuel is correct?

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I haven't seen your message, ehhmmm so my fuel lines aren't original and they are shortened way more than the manual's picture. Usually I just pick **A hose** since the **B hose** is a vacuum hose. Hope you've already figured it out by now.

    Hello. I need to change the coolant on the same engine. This filter located at the carburetor inlet is not original, someone put a fuel filter. I just bought the original. But it's not clear to me, this original has nothing inside, no filter, something to filter the liquid. It looks empty to me, hollow. Do you know anything about this coolant filter? Thanks

    • @radivojemadzarevic2954
      @radivojemadzarevic2954 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just found a filter on a website, it looks like a special case is being ordered (what I got) and the cartridge that is the filter that is put in this plastic case is being ordered separately.

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@radivojemadzarevic2954 Yes I believe the filter element is a separate piece. I did not change the filter on my bike, but somehow I think I should have. Can you link me the piece you found?

      When I get that insert, that is. filter. I'll put it in this case and then put it in place. On this housing (bubble), one side of these tubes is narrower and one is wider. How do I know where which side is going? How is this filter set up for you?

      @@radivojemadzarevic2954 I'll have a look tomorrow to see if it somehow indicates anything. Do you have a manual otherwise?

    hello dear Master, i washed my kle500 with jet and then my bike's engine doest'n work. i think water went to somewhere. if i pushed the bike from top of the road, bike works very hard. where should i check? handstarter is working but engine doesn't runing. if the engine run somehow does not stop. what can ı do?

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you got water inside your airfilter and housing also your carbs. You probably needs to empty the carbs and try turning it over with fresh fuel. If your engine runs and you dont know how to stop it again you can try killing the engine by remove the sparkplugwires if they are accessible. If not try sufficate the engine by fill the exhaust with an old towel, so there won't come any exhaustgases out.

      @@MLWAM The last situation is as follows. My engine sometimes doesn't start, when I check from sparkplugs, there is no ignition. Is there a connection to the ignition in the ignition switch? The starter works but the ignition sometimes does not work.

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erman0006 There could potentially be something wrong with the ignitionswitch yes. I have not had mine off, so I don't know how hard is it to get to. But maybe try holding the key in the On position while cranking and wiggle the key a bit.

    • @erman0006
      @erman0006 ปีที่แล้ว

      It fixes itself when I turn the key and turn it on and off. Have you ever looked at the electrical diagram? Is the ignition connection through the ignition switch (key)?

      @MLWAM  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erman0006 No i haven't had a look at the diagram for the ignition switch og connection. Do you have the diagram? for the electrics?

    Warning : the manufacturer recomand 50% dilution of the coolant for -35°C and your -12 is too diluted and maybe that's why some rust appears on the reservoir neck...

    • @MLWAM
      @MLWAM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I would agree to some extent, since I don't know the service history the coolant mixture could be years old and I know for a fact it has been stored in quite humid weather conditions, so im not that conserned. But thanks for the clarification 👍😊
