This was weird, I was trying to use a headstock mounted tuner on this tour, and it really didn't work hahaha. I switched to using my Axe Fx tuner between songs.
I've been watching a lot of your guys' live videos, question: do you guys have someone coming out between songs dumping buckets of water on Spencer? Does he climb into an ice bath between songs?
...It's not faster? They have STEM tracks (IE: the individual tracks that were used for the album) playing in their in ear monitors and they play to that individually instead of playing to one another. Hence they play everything at the same speed as the album... I guess they could in theory speed things up (by increasing the playback speed of the STEMs in their monitors), but if you watch this video and throw the album on right after (or at the same time if you want to take the time to perfectly sync things...) you'd see it's the same speed. It might come across as faster because everything isn't as clear or precise as the album (it is live, after all). Oli's vocal performance might be rushing slightly in parts, too... but to my ears, they're mostly bang on to the same speed as the album.
