I'm cynical as to why folks are creating videos on how to mirror an iPhone to an iPad, and then don't demo it, instead mirroring to a MacBook. I'll join those who will suggest: it doesn't work.

Yeah it sucks that TH-cam removed it. But you can download an extension to get it back. I have the extension on my browsers and can see the dislike buttons on every TH-cam video.

Don't say "(2 ways)", unless you're suggesting we 1) mirror the MacBook to the iPad, then 2) select to mirror the iPhone to the MacBook, and finally 3) switch the default display for the mirrored iPhone screen on the MacBook to the iPad. You didn't describe that process. Even if you did, though, it'd be too cumbersome for most. And, why is the name of the 3rd party app not listed in the description? AI-augmented video posts are annoying.

can't understand why this isn't working, IPhone and IPad Pro on same network, both have screen mirroring on. Both logged into same icloud account. No VPN, Tried Bluetooth too, no luck

I think it's been Winter 2021/22. It worked. Since ive had a 14pro, now the 15pro max, it's never been working. Not with 12.9 pro 2019. And not now with the 11pro M4. So...
