Another little reason I regrets switching to iPhone. My Android would connect via Bluetooth w/ my tv, no third party device needed. I didn’t purchase internet when I moved to my new place because I had TH-cam tv, Netflix, prime, etc. on my phone. I’d cast everything from my Android. It was so simple. I’m going to end up back on Android sooner than later. I’ll be a apple computer fan for life but the phone? Nope.
Thank you! Someone who said it! The iPhone 13 is my first iPhone and I already regret it. So much is different and something like this which should be so easy apple makes it hard to do. No thank you. I may just return my phone and go back to galaxy.
If you get a galaxy phone you can screen mirror from your phone directly to your fire stick within seconds and you don’t need to have Wi-Fi Internet or hotspot connectivity. No need to buy extra cables or to buy the apple box that was mentioned in the video. I am starting to think that I may have made a mistake switching to the new iPhone. I’ve never had a iPhone in my life and I already regret it.
@@johnnyr8603 rrreally...well I don't have an Android but do have an iPhone so I will have to try to see if I can mirror my iPhone on firestick...but when it comes to Apple TV third party apps are restricted on screen mirroring like Disney +, ESPN, TNT, Fox Sports.....thus why they created the Apple TV...you can only screen mirror personal content like photos and videos that you've taken on your phone on the Apple TV but you can't screen mirror third party apps like TH-cam.
Is there an hdmi adapter anyone recommends for just casting to my old Xbox? My Xbox airplay casting doesn’t work well and keeps dropping the connection. I need something simple. I’m trying to stream Kanopy Kids digital videobooks from the free Kanopy app on my iPhone. I’d like to be able to travel with the hdmi adapter too and just use my iPhone to watch/stream things without WiFi from things I’ve downloaded
I have a tv in my camper and I've been trying to play shows I downloaded on Netflix while out of service/wifi onto the tv. Even with the apple adapter it still recognizes what im trying to do and doesn't allow me to do so 😒
This is why I miss the Smartview feature on my Android. Unfortunately I’m using a Crapple iPhone right now, but I will be switching back to Samsung very soon.
My Internet has been out for some odd reason and I’m waiting on a technician. It’s stupid ass shit that you can’t cast anything from your iPhone to a tv without WiFi.... Android is looking more attractive to me!
Both my Samsung QLED and iPhone are on the same WiFi network, and I still cannot mirror my iPhone. screen. I get the message: Unable to connect to the Samsung server. It appears you must have an INTERNET connection just to mirror even if you have a wifi network. One would think that forcing one to have internet would be illegal.
I use the smartview option (on pull down menu) of my S10 to connect (mirror screen) to my Samsung tv without wifi or cords. It's great but can be choppy/buffer at times. Im here trying to find out if I can do the same if I got a iPhone.
Man them HDMI adapters I jumped a break constantly like you only get a couple uses out of them in they don’t work anymore never know how well you take care of you know you can only use it for a little while all the time and you constantly use I guess but if you wanna watch TV all night your beat you only got a couple nights that
Basically, the only way to enjoy an iPhone no matter which gen it is or what iOS update, is by Jailbreaking them / Hacking them. Lets you do away with all of Apples silliness.
Doesn’t matter if the show/ movie is downloaded for offline play on Hulu. Some apps like Hulu, Disney+, and TH-cam TV will not allow you to stream from your phone to your fire stick directly. I’m not sure why they do that but I had to learn that the hard way. In order for you to stream you would have to have an Internet connection and have that specific app download it to your fire stick which is I understands what we’re trying to avoid doing here.
Never buying iPhone again. Took the smart cast feature for granted when I had an Android. The fact that my iPhone 15 pro max can’t even do what my ancient galaxy s8 could do is unacceptable.
I left andriods and all that other stuff after T-Mobile decided it would discontinue its best selling phone, the Sidekick. Went to Apple because Andriod and others like it confused me, broke and always had issues with the system. Got an iPhone 4 and never looked back. Its sad how many things have changed for the worse with Apple iPhones. Our settings menu is so complex now compared to before and they keep doing stupid shit like this. I have the smartv LGTV quad processor 4K television and a Apple iPhone, that should be enough but nooooooo, lets make it more fucking complicated. I WANT JESUS TO COME BACK AND END ALL THIS INSANITY, if you cant even live in this bitch then lets fucking go, get us outta here already. This world reeks of high hell. Had a Sidekick 3G, it was great, they could’ve made into a more modern smart phone with the swivel screen and physical keyboard we loved from them, just add a touch screen just because. If it aint broke dont fix it, let it be, but no, we live in the world where nothing makes any fucking sense.
My internet is down right now because ATT&T sucks in my area (they wont replace all the old in-ground cables with fiber optics to upgrade or at least fix the old ones correctly) so I have T-Mobile iPhone and LGTV Smartv (should be called DumbPhone and DumbTV) and because no Wifi I cant use my television. This is complete bullshit.
Ridiculous how expensive they make it to access features you’ve already bought.

Me too Samsung A80
Now ma iPhone 15 can’t mirror
I have tried everything
What is the adapter called?
I have an IPhone XR with
Scepter tv
Chrome cast easy & simple
ESPN app on iPhone doesn’t play video when the lightning adapter via hdmi is connected to it….wondering if it will work with AirPlay ?
Apple HDMI adapter blocks all streaming services. DOES NOT WORK.
Did you use the actual Apple brand one or one of those cheap off brand ones?
Does the peer to peer bluetooth option work with even older apple tv's?
So basically you can't connect to your TV without wifi, i was trying to do it with no additional cords or apple tv box thing
He just went over using peer to peer mode that does not require wifi or an adapter

That killed 2 1/2 minutes of my life. You didnt even show how to connect it
Plug the adapter into the phone. HDMI cable goes from the adapter to the input on the TV.
I couldn’t agree with you more. This video was a complete joke.
I tried the adapter on a LG tv and didn’t work

Does it works on Chromecast built in the TV too?
What I NEED to know is, why is my IPHONE not connecting to, mirroring, my Roku TV. I keep trying this. I bought expensive equipment and NOTHING.
TH-cam ESPN don’t work…I like Apple but paying for Apple TV requiring personal WiFi is just too controlling 🙄 glad I didn’t pay full price for my 4K
So my iPhone just plugs into an hdmi input on the tv? That simple?
Yeah
With an adapter it will.
It’s not that simple because the plug is not the same size as your charger or won’t fit. So he’s wrong
@@marquisdawson2815 obviously you need the lightning to hdmi cable first.
Title of the video is misleading anyways. You need the adapter piece to connect HDMI to tv to adapter and then adapter plugs into your charger port
