Anet put a big focus on the story and narrative in Guild Wars 2. Thus, Elder Dragon Saga Complete Collection on sale for $50. The amount of content you get with this is honestly insane.

IMO the order of buy for a new player should be: HoT+PoF > LWS4 > IBS > EoD > SotO > LWS3 > LWS2 > LWS1... even though the last 3 I consider just fillers, as I don't think you're getting much out of them

Agreed!, I might argue to get sotO before EoD but that's probably personal preference. And the first 3 living world season should be included in associated expansions at this point.

I would go first with HoT than PoF, after that SofO, you get the Skyscale in an easy Mode. EoD next.
