You and Phandrel are single handedly keeping this game alive for me. Much appreciation for this videos! Just picked up Revenant last week and am addicted to Renegade and Vindi.

Thank you for the Build guide. I really like, that you inserted a screenshot of your rotation log in your build showcase. This in combination with your written build guide makes it really good to learn from. I managed to hit 35k after a few tries thanks to your guide :)
Can you maybe also include one of your golem pulls(maybe even the one you filmed) as log? I would love to compare my log to yours as i am trying to improve my numbers

No, reavers curse is such a dps boost that swapping it for vigor is still a dps loss. And playing vindicator just to plug a hole in your supports is kinda wrong, if neither of the 4 supports can provide vigor, the problem is somewhere else 😀
TH-cam removed my original message, so going to summarize it:
What I've seen is Vindicators getting mad because the supports can't maintain permanent vigor. As far as I know, there are only two support classes that can give permanent vigor. I tried researching for more classes but it became difficult. So, was wondering if there is a recommendation to give vindicators when they get upset when they don't have permanent vigor in their subgroup. Sounds, like the best recommendation is just for them to be okay with them not having permanent vigor.
@@ReapeX Vindicator doesnt need permanent viogr anyway. Using energy meld twice in the rotation provides 50 endurance, which is one free dodge. You generate 5 endurance per second, meaning that you haveover 150 endurance per rotation without any vigor uptime. If you need to save one for mechanics, it is completely fine to just dodge twice during alliance stance, even if it means dropping forerunner of death for like a second.
Vigor increases that to 7.5, so even with 50% uptime (~10-11 seconds), you gain another free dodge per rotation. Dodging in itself is not that much of a dps gain, maintaining the buff from it is important.
So if people have to rely on vigor on vindicator, they just dont know how it really works.
@@MaselMMO Ah that's what I was thinking initially but the complainers were trying to say due to the nerf, they need permanent vigor and got upset at the boon people. I now know what to tell them. Thank you :D

I have the same build as you but man I am struggling so hard. I can’t get past 42K in the opener and 33K otherwise. I feel like I’m not understanding this. Could you add more details for the rotation to understand priority ?
It would be helpful to know when to throw in the extra skill in alliance stance + what skills are likely causing me to cancel
@@codemeifyoucan305 check Mr.mystic vindicator build insted. Uts a year old but works wonders. I love it. They use only greatsword and is super easy :3 41k easy

It's best to use both. I'm not a fan of this build. If you don't care about rotation, you'll be fine using either weapons. If you care about rotation, swapping both at the same time is not a big issue, so you might as well learn the proper one as Vindi has a pretty easy one (not the sc one, but the actually used rotation). I did only skim around the open world section, but it doesn't mention the first thing you should learn to do before swapping traits, or gear - using your F3 in alliance stance. You can survive most of the open world activities by just properly using the kit.
Yes its best to use both but swords are better than gs thats a fact 😀 sux to have your own elite spec weapon nerfed that even its elite uses something else 🤣
@@jurionov5358 Difference is minimal TBH. I guess swords are just easier to use. If you minmax - small hitbox = swords, big hitbox = GS.
@@Midaspl Using the viktor skills isn't really worth it imo. Sure you can say that one should teach people about it, but using it comes at a significant loss in damage and it doesnt really provide much that you want anyway, aside from another condition cleanse or some protection uptime. The heal skill on victor is actually weaker for yourself, as it doesnt apply vulnerability and doesnt provide might. You lose quickness and might uptime by not using scavenger burst, have no CC in there and so on. Whenever i used viktor, it just made the build worse.
And in terms of the rotation: using a greatsword increases dps, sure. But with dual swords and greatsword, the build has no range and no CC, for a small damage gain.
I talked to ben g from snowcrows and his dual sword benchmark is 40.5k, which is ~2k dps lower than using greatsword. On any fight where you'd want CC or range on demand, using staff or hammer becomes better very quickly. I went through all these options, but none of them really felt worth it.
Oh and camping hammer is ~36k damage, which is pretty decent on its own!
