My Aunt and Uncle brought me and my brother here when we were little kids. I don't remember it as much but it was in the early 70's . I do remember my Uncle driving back home in a snow storm back to Connecticut and sleeping in the back seat . Me and my brother still have the Wooden Soldiers that Aunt ans Uncle brought us and I put them on the Mantle Every Year At Christmas Time. I will be showing my Aunt this video and wish my Uncle was still alive to see it to. Thanks for sharing this.
I went there many times with my grandparents back in the early 1970s. I remember that first slide you went down well only it used to just dump you in the dirt at the end and not in a big mat. Both of my grandparents are no longer with us so this video brought back some nice memories of them and the fun things we did together.

Many years ago, my younger sister used to work at Dunkin Donuts, and used to work the drive thru window. She would serve Santa every morning, and really enjoyed his lovely demeanor. It's great to see the old place open again!

Years ago we visited here and they would postmark your letters to Santa with an official postmark from Santa Land, Putney, Vermont. One of the igloo houses was a former restaurant there. I didn't see the gift shop that was once there, glad it reopened!

You should definitely go to Frankenmuth in Michigan this year! It's a Christmas/German tourist area. It has the world's largest Christmas store, restaurants, speciality shops, escape rooms, mirror maze, and area that reminds me directly of Gatlinburg, three museums including a history and beer museum. I was able to film in all attractions that we did so you'll be able to get plenty of footage.
I think I heard something about that park being shut down a while back. Glad to see it's in the hands of responsible people who care about more than how much money they can milk out of the place.
Not sure if you've already been, but if you really want a Christmas experience you need to head to Frankenmuth Michigan and go to Bronners! Actually Frankenmuth in general provides ALOT of awesome experiences!
I was wondering why there was no one there, like no employees or anything so...good to hear that they do get busy. It is a cute little place. I do like that Santa's house, as old fashioned as it is, he still has a Secret Life of Pets blanket.
Kind of sad, There should be children there. Parents to day are spoiled and only want the big rides. But there kids at a young age 3 to 8 would have great memories of this place if they had the chance to go. As adults it seems we want to made happy more then the children. I hope you visit helps promote Santa Land
I didn’t know about this place and I’m less than an hour away, now my kids are 11 and 17, but I think the littler ones will have a great time here. Definitely going to plan a trip closer to Christmas with the little cousins
I was think.... I do know who Jacob is , but if I seen a strange grown man riding rides , going threw tunnels, and going down the kiddy slides without children.... I'd grab my kids or grandkids and run . lol !! You just never know about people these days . ( I know Jacob is harmless though ) . Other wise I would be concerned .
The carousel from Coney Island was opened in 2013 in Luna Park, Brooklyn, The mayor had billboards on buses and billboards, newspaper ads, pushing it of the fun of residents. It is under a ten year contract to a local operator. Pat
This looks like such a cute little park!! These old timey places are far and few between but they are my favorite. Jacob - you should check out Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pa - I think you'd really enjoy it! It was setup more like places like this but now it's a bit different but still has that unique vibe! You should also visit the Pioneer Tunnel in Ashland, Pa! It has a coal mine dark ride and a nice train ride too!

Keep in mind this park is still in a transition period of restoration and such. The guy who bought it is a fairly wealthy gentlemen I believe from Connecticut who remembers coming here as a kid way back in the day and when presented with the opportunity to buy it he couldn't resist and is looking do everything right and be genuinely passionate about the project! This park is located in Putney right along side US RT5 if you are ever wondering where to go to find it!

For some reason that I can't fathom, the men in this country admire, and try to emulate men like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, and Chuck Norris. A mystery. These men all have the same approach to managing the problems life confronts them with. They either punch, shoot, or blow the smithereens out of their obstacles. I admit to having watched pretty much all of the movies these action heroes have made, and found one glaring similarity between them. It is alarming. You NEVER hear them use the word love, or see them express tenderness. Ever. We idolize weakness and fear. I want to be the middle aged man in the silly hat riding down the glacier slide. Is this place still open in 2021, despite COVID? These theme parks are of a dying generation. I’m so happy to see that this place reopened! I’ve driven past many times in my trips to the Brattleboro area but I’ve never been inside! Hope to visit if it’s still open!!
