I have been riding since I was 8. I have ridden and owned a crap ton of bikes... and I like my Fat Bob a great deal. I must respectfully disagree with the reviewer, its not fast, and it turns like a oil tanker. But it handles much better than many Harleys I have ridden, enough so I actually bought one! LOL However, for those who are not interested in the full spectrum of motorcycles, the Fat Bob is a very planted and stable bike. Its predictable in turns and starts and stops satisfactorily. If I like it, I cant see anyone who is a cruiser first person disliking it.
Just got a 2013 Fatbob. It has a stage 1 kit and handle really well. Start pushing it hard and you need to put the progressive strings in the front which I have just done. Cams and Dyno next. The Go-Pro cameras are easy to use and easy to make video's.
The Fat Bob is like a German Shepherd Dog. Not the best at anything, but second best at everything! Wouldn't trade my Fat Bob or my GSD for anything. My dog is named Bob too. No, not really.
To be honest I don't know. was wondering that myself. I have not have had the pleasure to ride the 2009 version. We have bad weather here so riding at this moment is not an option. I'm awaiting delivery of the bike as it is now at the distributer. Im really looking forward having the wind in my face and the wonderful noise surrounding me. What is your location? Im in the Netherlands.
ok, got the message prior to you removing. When you arrive in december you will find the Netherlands very close and it can be a nice ride. let me know.
I really enjoyed watching this video about the Bad Ass bike sitting in my garage
The most beautiful HD too. This is certainly my next bike.
Fat bob's with 103 high out put is a scream to ride.

Breaking News: This guy's head just exploded when he rode the 2018 Fat Bob. May he rest in peace.

FXRS-SP is still the best handling Harley big twin ever. FXDX a close second.
Well what size is the best twin cam from Harley 88, 96, 103 or 110?
@cszeek no problem... unfortunately I have been caught in the rain with Bob many a times!
no abs?
Whats the diffrence to the new 2010? I have a 2009.
Nice review. Will be buying one tomorrow...

are you master yoda?

@cszeek not very well haha
how does the fatboy compare in handling to the fat bob?
There is no comparison. Dynas handle much better than Softails, but stock Softails are much more comfortable than stock Dynas.
It is the best handling Harley when you change the shit Dunlop tyres and put Avon Venom s
I don't see how a fat bob would be better handling than any other dyna. Unless the fatter tires provide that much more traction.
@guitarhero174 fatbob is smaller than fatboy...for me both are better..
Fat bob handles much better
Sportster goes better!
