    Proud Owner Of a 2016 FXDF 103 Velocity Red FatBob I named "RUBY" Purchased in 2024 with a criminal 1093 miles the original tires dry rotted so I got Michelin Commander 3 on her now. My dream bike for many years.

      I just traded a soft tail slim for my 17 Fatbob Laguna Orange… Tons of work done and only 7k miles. Had new tires ,Arlen Ness air cleaner, Bassani RR3 exhaust, National Cycles Spartan windshield, solo headlight conversion kit, Harley day maker led, Harley hard leather bags, Vance and Hines FP3, Harley sundowner seat, Harley quick detach sissy bar with backrest; yeah somebody put like 5 grand into the bike just to ride 7k miles and trade for a Indian……

      The new ones are pretty slick, but it's hard to beat the original!

    I have this bike and it corners so well. I took a curve to the left and got low (accidentally) enough to scrape the outer primary. This bike is a lot of fun. I am going to go ahead and put a stage 2 on it .

    Thanks for the review. So on the forward controls, what height or inseam should a rider be in order to reach the controls effectively? And, without spending a small fortune on mid controls, what are the "reach-back" controls, or whatever they are called to make the stock forward controls "closer"...?

    • @TobaccoRoadHD
      @TobaccoRoadHD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a 30" inseam, the forwards on this are about as far as I would want to go, while the forwards on a M8 Softail feel a good little bit closer. We always recommend stopping by in person so you can check out a few different set-ups on our preowned inventory. The Reduced Reach Forward Control Conversion Kit (Part Number: 50700005) bring them up and back over 1 inch. Pair these with the right seat that brings you forward, and you're closer to mid-controls than before.

      You may ask but, they won't tell you.
      They're like car dealerships, they train their Salesperson to give you the runaround.
      Like, how much would you like your monthly payment to be?

    Got a 08 Low Rider ( FXDL ) had to replace the Voltage regulator and security module. Replaced with components made in the U.S. instead of the Harley Stock Chinese/ Malaysia junk parts. Honda only puts parts in their bikes made in Japan why Can't Harley put parts in their bikes made in the U.S. ??? Don't they want to support the American worker ??
