I decided to take the FXDF out for a ride today so it doesn't feel neglected. Filmed with my GoProHD2 1920x1080 30p Wide FOV Check out my other channel: / switchbikersdroid Rate-Comment-Subscribe!
Thanks very much to taking the Fatbob for a ride. I just love the sound and heritage of the Harley Davidson motorcycles. beautiful twisty mountain road by the way. ride safe man
I like the mods you have done..bike isnt OVERDONE..if you know what I mean. Just ordered a 2013 Street Bob..Hard Candy Paint..103 c.i...drag bars..Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust...Screaming Eagle air intake..other than tinting the turn signals..that is probably pretty much how she will stay. Video was good..enjoyed the ride. Thanks for posting it.
I really enjoyed this ride. I have wanted to own a Harley for about 40 years now. I have 3 brothers that ride them and I am riding a 1982 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim. Great lokking scenery. Kepp up the great videos!
sounds great! over here in europe you can find a lot of tiny, twisted roads. the footpegs keep on scraping the road which is quite fun. however I would like to do a coast to coast trip over in the States. I'm planning on doing so after finishing University!
Just subscribed, recently became interested in riding, going to learn and purchase a bike soon. Really liked the quiet ride on this bike , great video.
Thanks for the sub!, this bike isn't all that quiet, when stock they are whisper quiet when riding, almost to the point they nearly seem like riding an electric bike.
Nice bike with nice mods. I'm looking at possibly getting one myself for touring. Great roads up north. If you get the chance take 66 towards Klamath Falls. Great road! However man, at least wear gloves when you ride and practice how to counter steer. It was painful watching your turn the wheel into the turns. Nice bike though!
Thanks! it's still pretty cold here too, another month or so before I can go on any real rides outside the city limits. The temps are still dropping below freezing after sunset.
Hey, Cool Bike. I am going to get a Harley hopefully in September, and want to get a softail, and I am thinking about getting the aftermarket tail light that is like the strobewise and I am looking forward to it. September will be my birthday month, so it will be great to get myself a Harley, compared to what I used to have. I saw your comment on motovlog.com and I am a new subscriber to your channel. :) How does the Fat Bob run in comparison to the softail or the fatboy, or the dyna low rider?
I must admit. This is the first Harley vlog I didn't mind watching... That was nice. I will and must give you a shout out in one of my next vids. Sarge Out.....
I just picked up a 2015 Fat Bob yesterday and I'm looking at getting a V&H exhaust. Just wondering if you have any issues checking the oil dip stick with the exhaust right there? 0:37 *****
I can't make up my mind between the Fat Bob and the Fat Boy. I know they have the same motor and all but the Fat Boy is a soft tail. How are you talking into your GoPro camera there.
It is almost impossible to turn motorcycle without counter steer. Once you over 20mph force is too great to just lean and turn. Most bikers don't realize then they counter steer but they do unless then weight twice more than a bike :D
Gary Pederson Did you get a bike? Was it a Fat Bob? If you have ridden before then you won't have an issue with a Fat Bob imo. I hadn't ridden seriously for 20 years and looked at many Harleys - including 1200C. Glad I chose a Fat Bob. If I chose the 1200C (which was my only other serious option) then I would have changed bikes real soon afterwards. The Fat Bob seems small to me at times - until I ride a mates bike etc. then I realise it's not. So imagine how a 1200C would feel after 6-12 months. 😲😲😲
Nice video bro! A new subscriber. I am thinking to buy a Harley, I love the V-Rod design but I think that Fat Bob is better to ride in the roads and conditions I use to...
Couldn't even tell you if my insurance is worth it, I haven't had a claim to settle at this point. I just spend money every month on it and never collect any.
I have had them only in light rain, so I can't say for sure. If I had stuff that absolutely needed to stay dry I would ziplock bag those items just for piece of mind.
great video, nice bike ,breathtaking scenery....a far cry from Guernsey!!! 24 square miles...35mph speed limit,my 1690 heritage loves it!!!
Thanks very much to taking the Fatbob for a ride. I just love the sound and heritage of the Harley Davidson motorcycles. beautiful twisty mountain road by the way.
ride safe man

Slick bike man!
I like your videos. Where in the states are you?
Great video, great bike... :)
Cheers!
@SwitchBiker where did you get the windshield and bags from? I find it hard to get parts for the fat Bob.
Can you let me know what type and size screen you have on their please?
I just picked up a 2015 Fat Bob yesterday and I'm looking at getting a V&H exhaust. Just wondering if you have any issues checking the oil dip stick with the exhaust right there? 0:37 *****

are you riding in the Okanagan?
Does that air filter setup get in the way of your leg?

How tall are you ? This bike is not to small for a 6.4 tall man ?
Wish I had the guts to buy a Fat Bob. Haven't ridden a bike in 26 years. Will probably start out with a XL1200c.
I think the fat bob would make a great bike to get re-aquainted with riding!

everyday is a good day to ride better than being in a cage! Nice man
Great video. Thanks very much.
Thanks for watching! take care.

I really love the fat bob, its such a good all around bike and it handles well enough to get somewhat spirited in your riding. Take care!
What do you think about the new Street 750?
Well, I haven't really looked at it. I like the concept though.
what kind of insurance do you prefer for a Harley road king
Couldn't even tell you if my insurance is worth it, I haven't had a claim to settle at this point. I just spend money every month on it and never collect any.
What road,county,city,state?
i wanna live there too...
Love your bike. Can you tell me wich is the size of the windscreen? Thanks
16 inch hd compact
+SwitchBiker Wind protects you well? no turbulence makes you?
+José María Santos yes, the windscreen is effective, but it does create some turbulence.
What brand/model is your windscreen?
The windscreen is the HD compact windscreen with quick detach clamps.
Are those Harley bags waterproof?
I have had them only in light rain, so I can't say for sure. If I had stuff that absolutely needed to stay dry I would ziplock bag those items just for piece of mind.
***** did you have to relocate the turn signal for bags
Clint, the bags fit without moving the lights.
Yamaha r6 for me but nice bike
Triumph spidmaster
