This was six months ago and I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but listen to the live version from 98’ ! That middle part is transformed into something entirely different, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it a lot more ! :-)

I'm so glad you reacted to this. I got into Fishmans the last year myself and think theyre amazing. I agree the middle part is a bit too long, however their live rendition in "98.12.28 Otokotachi no Wakare" I think many fans would agree is the best version of the song. I do think if you haven't reacted to stuff like Pink Floyd's studio version of Echoes or some of older Genesis then you wouldn't quite appreciate it as much but I love to see that. Your musical tastes are branching out and I'm glad not understanding the Japanese lyrics didn't put you off the song.
They have much more digestable songs in their discography; I'd probably make a request for a few of them soon just to see what your take on them are. If your into the bass and drums I'm sure it would vibe hard. Good take!

The music is excellent, but the vocals are just plain annoying. An instrumental version of this would be incredible!!
