    Great review! The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX looks like an incredible blend of comfort and sportiness. I recently purchased the 2024 Ninja 1000 SX and I'm absolutely loving it. The updates they made are fantastic and it still retains that perfect balance of comfort and performance. Thanks for sharing your insights!

    I just wish Kawasaki offered some lighter, brighter colors.

    Great review! I have the exact same bike, love it. Best bike I've ever own. My wife also rides and has one too. She is 5'7, not a fan of the wind hitting her on the neck. Can you put a link to your windscreen? Thanks

      The National Cycle VStream options are great for the N1K, I have the middle sport-touring height and it works great.

    I've got the 2017 sx 1000 in green, i bought it new, only take the Panniers off for cleaning,
    Ive had no issues with wind buffeting with the Panniers on ,
    It does all that I want and much more , on the roads of Wales GB an some over the boarder in England 🇬🇧 - use motorway country roads lanes ,mountains / valleys that are just about passable for a car , fuel consumption is at worst 48 miles to the gallon that's 8 uk pints 85 % of the time 56 miles to the gallon,
    I'm 65 next few days few health issues, but still enjoy riding, with lots of body niggles that takes me a few days to recover an settle down after a ride ,
    Really happy with the bike, seat isn't the greatest it's all standard apart from heated grips, frame sliders, I'm 5ft 9, 30.5 inside leg, 180 kg I'm hanging is good enough for me ,not changing it, mine is worth £ 7000 the new version in full touring spec would be 7000 thousand odd + my bike for a TFT- quick shifter - cruise control and heated grips and a better seat and a new registration plate with a new year 😀 👍

    Hey brother. No judgement zone here. I lost about 55 lbs and am down to 190. Still have 5 pounds to go. My tool has been Contrave. If you have a cravings problem (for food, alcohol, etc) it has helped me like nothing else has.

    You should have a look at Tony Turbo. He's a u tuber in the UK. He's not very tall and I'd hate to guess how much he weights. Probably at least 325 or more. He has the sx also

    I bought the 2022 Kawasaki versys 1000 it has the same engine as yours but tuned down, but I wanted to sit upright so that's what attracted me more

    • @dsiz9421
      @dsiz9421 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m on the fence about getting the versys 1000. The ninja sx was a huge disappointment when I set on it. I don’t mind leaning forward. However it’s very leg cramped for a tall guy. Had the same problem on the fjr1300. Neither one of those bikes should be recommended for a 6’4” rider.
      I just cant forgive how much they nerfed the versys.

    • @rival989
      @rival989 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dsiz9421 yeah it was a huge disappointment when I realized they tuned it down I was looking at a Triumph 1200 sport in a Multistrada because they were both in the same price range the versus cost me $22,000 out the door after taxes and everything. They say you can do things to the computer engine to get it faster but I don't want to do any of that at least until the 5-year warranty is up now that I think about it I think it's why it cost me 22,000 because I paid for an extended warranty. I'm going to be lowering my pegs soon been getting a highway bar put on it.. this person is the first bike I ever brought brand new so I'm going to probably spend a lot of money on it with accessories if you get a chance to ride the versys 1000 on a highway you'll definitely like it I mean it won't be the same torque as a sport bike but it got a little get up and go after 9rpm, that's when the horsepower supposedly kicks in

      I had the gen 1 versys for 7 years great bike ..now have a 2021 GSA and that a different ball game .

    • @Charlie-fc1mh
      @Charlie-fc1mh ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm starting to think that's the bike I should get also. I'm pretty sure the verseys will be plenty fast for me

      @@AndyGSATractor I was looking at a 2022 GSA but they wouldn't let me test ride it so that kind of ruined me eating by me because that was on my list too

    I’m 5’10’ and the stock windscreen isn’t great. Otherwise it’s great & smooth . I’m running it in now & haven’t hit 1000km. At 5000 rpm there is a buzz under my seat , but it’s slowly disappearing. The sweet spot is between 1-4K & above 6k. Side panniers swallow a full face helmet. I’ve had a Diavel , Gs & Busa 2022. This is better than those bikes , except the Busa which has better wind management & stable as a truck at high speed.

    Hey JR I test rode this bike 2021 just like yours a week ago, loved everything about it except for the wind management. Just a couple of questions about which V-stream shield you got, they make three heights I think yours looks like the middle one which is it? I'm 5'10" I'm thinking that would fix it. Now, TRUTHFULLY does it do away the buffeting I experienced on it? What position do you find best out of the four positions you have available. Stock shield was best at position 2nd up notch but nothing to really bragg about at all.

    Yes they flash the ECU and about 5 hp gain, By the way I am 61 years young not sure your age .

  • @Charlie-fc1mh
    @Charlie-fc1mh ปีที่แล้ว

    Moore Mafia in Wisconsin can flash the ecu. Only thing is that there's a limit. If you want to pay 2 or 3 hundred, you can probably get around 4 or 5 more hp. He said there were certain things he couldn't unlock in the ecu. If I ever get mine, I'll probably just put a different end can on it and be happy. My issue is that I'm 6'1 " and I have a size 13 foot. I found it a little awkward to get my foot under the shift lever for up shifts

    I bought 20 model with tft etc. I find I’m cramped for the tall rider , ie legs crunched on foot pegs / back of boot hits the exhaust can ( we’re it bends out from the bike)
    Knees also crunched up near tank / wind screen just blows air straight on ya neck/ seat has a vibration at certain rpm / will have to try bar raisers/ dropped foot pegs/ bigger screen hopefully helps , quickshifter dosent like down shifting too ,cruiseing rpm on motorway is high 5500rpm at 70 mph mpg isn’t great for a sports tourer
