Great Ninja SX, I own the 2018 model and to date the 108K Km distance bike, a bike with a fantastic engine, impressive 4 cylinder elasticity, you can trot at 25km / h in 6th gear, open the gas and be thrown into hyperspace ... Without touching the gearbox. Truly fantastic motorcycle, but here in Italy, everyone wants crossover bikes.

Bought this same bike in December. Yes, it’s all that and a whole lot more. He wasn’t joking when he said quarter throttle and you’re sent to Ohio in a jiffy. This bike has serious power; crazy responsive. Got rid of the stock exhaust and went with a Scorpion, and upgraded to a Puig windscreen in a medium smoke color. I might also go with a fender eliminator once the riding season is over, but we’ll see. If you’re considering this bike, just do it. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed.

Hey thanks for a nice video. I was on the fence between the GSX-S and the 1000SX. Was leaning towards the 1000SX because of its lighter weight. Had a surgery a few weeks ago and though I'm not one of those Harley guys who graces everyone with their music (lol), I am one of those 300mm chopper guys with ground pounders that you feel coming from a mile away (sorry not sorry). Anyway, doc said that 800 pounds is way too much for me to be slinging around for the next year and wanted me on a bike (if I HAVE to ride...) that was in the 500lb range that I can flat foot. So at 5.11 there are plenty of flat foot options. But something little like 500ish pounds? Coming from 102 inches down to 80 something? Weird. AND a sport touring set up so that I'm not hugging tanks again? Even more weird since my wife told me if I ever got another crotch rocket again that she'd hand me divorce papers. Soooo.... Last sport bike was a GSXR 1100 and that was more than 20 years ago lol! Then came a long string of V twins in cruiser and touring set ups. And now doctor's orders... Heh heh heh and now this 1000sx is in my future. Heading out to the dealer in Mobile in about 30 minutes.

Flash the ECU. It's capable of 200mph with the restrictions deleted.

I bought this bike in December; is this true?

@@johnwheeler4966 No, it's not true. Despite adding more horsepower , your not changing the transmission ratios. You'll simply get to it's top speed faster. You could play with the chain and sprocket ratios, but you'll not hit 200mph.

@@GPz84 Not sure where this is coming from - I never said I could hit 200. I simply said that the power is more than enough on this bike.
