I swear. That face makes it look like what would happen if Skullgrin was forced into the body of a Minicon or Micromaster. But the head of his pretender shell became his actual one in robot mode.

One time, for some form of Promo, Takara did a popsicle transformer. It shell/parts formed from a popsicle to the mascot wearing an Optimus Prime helmet and t-shirt.
I think my favorite weird one is Arms Micron Bulkhead Knuckle, who is a little Bulkhead (from Prime) that turns into a fist that larger transformers can wear.
I didn't know about "alternate universe" Prime. Not quite to my liking. Now, if they did a screen accurate sculpt of zombie Prime from Dark Awakening, I would be all over that, even if it was an MP.
Hulk as a tank is definitely a fitting choice for an alt mode…unless you’re basing it on the 2003 Hulk, then you’re just being mean. (For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, there’s a scene in the movie where Hulk breaks off the turret of a tank…and accidentally nut shots himself with the tank’s barrel.)
Not gonna lie, when I saw the Hello Kitty Q Transformer, I was waiting to see if you were going to bring up the Eva Unit Q Transformers as well. As for collaborations, I think the oddest one has to go to the Calvin Johnson Megatron toy. I like the stealth bomber Megatron figure and the colors surprisingly go well with that mold, but it's still such an odd choice to have a collaborative figure with a football player. And all because the guy's nickname is "Megatron".
I love back to the future and ghostbusters crossover figure. I have both. My favorite wtf transformer has to be Christmas themed Optimus prime. It’s insane to exist but I love it
I love the dead Optimus and dying 2 pack. I was hoping we'd get battle damaged bots. The seekers, Megatron and Insecticons would be sweet as battle damaged bad boys...and Starscream's feet.
The Hulk Marvel crossover figure is just a good transformer, period. If he had been introduced into, or repainted into, a mainline transformers line as a figure that merely references the Hulk, I think this would have been the favorite mold for a surprising number of people. Also, his customizing potential is huge. I could easily see things as unlikely as a Triple-changing Optimus Primal robot-tank-ape figure being possible. The two sets of figures I've wanted to see most stridently would be Knight Rider and the 1970's Battlestar Galactica. One of the big surprises of the original BSG was that it was set in the modern era - when they finally found the lost colony of Earth, it was the current year. There was a follow-up series, Galactica 80, that featured heroes of the colonial fleet and Cylons on Earth in 1980. A few years later a new series from the same producer features an Earth car with incredible AI and sensor abilities that just happens to utilize the "Larsen Scanner", the red light-chaser used on Cylons and KITT. On top of all that, Knight Industries wasn't really able to replicate KITT and the prototype - KARR - was incredibly anti-human. I honestly don't know why nobody has done a double-crossover between BSG, Knight Rider, and Transformers. The story of multiple alien factions coming to Earth together with differing goals, and adapting one another's technologies while fighting a shadow war that's initially a free-for-all, would be epic.
"There's a Soul of Chogokin of Hello Kitty." That is pretty wild, but my personal favorite Hello Kitty Crossover toy was the Beyblade they made near the end of Beyblade Burst. Legitimately, one of my favorite Beyblades in my collection.
Hardly the most weird, but still pretty weird. I really like Shattered Glass Thundercracker; rather than being based on an Autobot counterpart, or even having a slightly modified color scheme, SG Thundercracker went all out with a ridiculous homage to Action Master Thundercracker's random 90s colors. Arguably shattered glass Thundercracker's colors are even more garash and ridiculous than his inspiration. It's a color scheme so ugly that it does a completely 180 and becomes awesome.
what I find weirder about the mega Drive Megatron is that the pun only works in the UK and maybe Brazil. Because he's not Megatron in japan, and he's not a mega drive in the US.
For the Toaster transformer I can imagine him growling at me before slices of toast fire out And He & I just stare at each other awkwardly as the moment is Supposed to be Scary but it is just hilarious instead
I still think the Tidal Wave mold could work as a Crossovers Hulk that turns into the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier in its flight mode. Especially if the Legacy remake gets done in Energon colours.
I miss the "why would you make this"-level repaints and retools from Universe 2003 that put characters in the most "why, just why" colors imaginable. My fave WTF TF was definitly the start of the crossover series and I hope to see more from 80s franchises and universal monsters in the next couple of years. I'm Still waiting for KITT from Kight Rider crossover Hasbro Years ago I started doing models to 3D print for a Transformers combiner that was made of the A-Team Van, BTTF Delorean, KITT from Knight Rider, The Coyote from HardCastle and McCormic and Big Foot the monster tuck. Maybe one day I will return to that project.
There have been a few. There’s a MP Ratbat with GI Joe colors and a new crossover set with Soundwave and Ravage coming out soon. I know I’m forgetting some.

Another one I love is energon dreadwing the mirage repaint the teal/purple is satisfying and the boat is really nice. Actually I like a lot of the unicron trilogy stuff and sold of it is odd
I really liked the Captain America "Humvee" crossover. As well as the Hulk tank and Wolverine truck. Thor... really got shafted in the last few minutes of his crossover toy. Super appropriate vehicle, and part layout that should have worked great, and yet it fell flat. I dig Gigavolt and Ectotron, as of course fans have fantasized the Delorean and Ecto-1 being Transformers. But I'd give the nod of my favorite WTF Transformer to the Mickey Mouse Optimus Prime. And Mickey's even riding/piloting it from atop the head!
While coming across more examples for your strange accessories video, I accidentally bumped into a strange Transformers product. Which would be the Transformers Bishoujo girl figures. The Optimus Prime one has a brief case that is colored like Optimus Prime's trailer and even has wheels. Not to mention her mask is designed to closely resemble a mouth plate. The others are Megatron, Starscream, Nemesis Prime, Thundercracker, and Bumblebee. With the last one reminding me so much of Rin Kagamine. There's a Skywarp figure likely still being made in development.
My favourite has to be Garirobo kun. He turns into food. Food! Titan scaled food! Also that Xiaomi Mipad Sound Wave, who is basically origami. Beautiful.
I was disappointed in the Rebel Snowspeeder but I'm one of the few people who actually like the X-Wing. There's also the Bot Shots, Transformers that are part of a rock/paper/scissors style game after you run them into each other. I have Bumblebee because Bumblebee and he's a cute little guy.
I didn't even know the Hello Kitty toy existed until this video. There are some other weird ones I did know about. There are Disney crossover Transformers like a Mickey Mouse in Optimus Prime colors that transforms into a truck. There's also a Donald Duck as Bumblebee. And they don't have traditional Robot modes that you would think of for those characters, they have the colors and vehicle mode of the G1 characters but the robot modes just look like the Disney characters. I will say BotBots is a really weird idea. I don't collect them because I'm not into that blind bag collection thing, there's only a few that I would even want and I don't want to waste money on multiples of everything else just to find the few figures that I actually find interesting. One in particular, Quackles, I could actually see going really well with Beast Wars Megatron because he's a rubber duck. I've actually seen pictures where someone else had the same idea and took pictures of Kingdom Megatron posed with Quackles. There's two other variants of that mold, Duck Splinters which is a wooden duck and I give them credit on the paint job even though it's actually plastic it really does look like wood. There's also Quacked Up who is painted to look more like a real duck. My dad really likes ducks so I think he'd love these figures as well which is why I mentioned them specifically. Also I could easily picture Quacked Up being redone in the Kingdom style and just being an actual Transformer. Those are the BotBots I really love is the few that could be legitimate characters. The Star Wars crossovers I will admit were not great figures but I still collected them. I think they could have been better if the robot modes were made as original characters rather than trying to look like the characters. Though Palpatine did kind of accidentally end up looking like Rhinox, Like he looks more like a Pre-BW Rhinox than the actual figure they used from Cybertron because Landmine's head does not fit that character. I have Giggawatt, I wanted to Ectrotron as well but it was a bit too expensive for me and the only Game Stop I could find that even had one is 400 miles away from where I live. My local Game Stop has never carried them, they do it by pre-order only so if you don't have a pre-order before the toy was released you couldn't get one. The store by my grandparents is a much bigger location so they do have extra in stock that you can just buy without a preorder but I'm only there once a year... and I probably won't be going back there anymore as my grandma may be moving closer to where I live very soon. One of my favorite WTF products I think would be the Device Label USBs. There's a couple reasons I find these interesting. 1. They made one that's based on G1 Ravage except it transforms into a USB memory instead of a cassette. 2. They repainted the mold into Cheetor and Tigatron. I know TM Tigatron was also a Ravage repaint but I believe this is still the only Cheetor that was originally a Revage mold rather than the other way around. Usually it's Cheetor first then it gets repainted into Tigatron and Ravage. 3. They're actual working USBs, I think they only had like 8GB of memory which is not a lot when most regular retail versions are double that but it's still impressive that you can actually use them as working USBs. Most transformers devices aren't functional but these actually worked. Speaking of odd Transformers devices that have real working functions... I have to talk about Heinrad from Beast Wars Neo. So first of all, I actually saw a knock off of this figure back in the 90's at a Big Lots. The knock off toy line also had Beast Machines Optimus Primal which I have... regretfully. I don't want to hear anyone talking about official Transformers being hollowed out when these cheap Chinese Knock offs exist. That Optimus Primal figure was made entirely of paper thin hollowed out plastic. Real Transformers have hallow parts for a damn good reason, usually those parts need to be hallowed out to accommodate the transformation but they're still solid figures. This cheap knock off I had to open it up to swap the gorilla head for the robot head and there was enough space inside that figure that you could probably fit all of the Titans Returns heads in there at the same time. Nothing on that figure was solid, he LOOKED solid but once you open it up you realize it's really only got BARELY enough bulk to fit the screws in that hold it together. They also had an over sized Rattrap that made him deluxe sized before Generations Rattrap was a thing. Not the TM version that was already a deluxe, it was an upscaled original Rattrap. Lio Convoy was also in this toy line. This is actually how I was introduced to the Japanese Beast Wars was through a knock off Chinese toy line, I did not know they were real characters. Knock Off Heinrad I could tell in package that his clock was just a sticker. It wasn't a functional clock. I didn't know it at the time but all the functionality had been gutted out of the figure. He had a cameo in RID2001 as an actual alarm clock and I questioned why a Knock Off was put into an official Transformers cartoon. That's when I found out he was a real character and his official toy was an actual functioning alarm clock. Though it can't be shut off the way that's shown in Car Robots. Ironically since Car Robots/RID2001 was animated to be much more accurate to the way the toys work than other cartoons the only inaccurate Transformer in the series wasn't even really a character in the show since he's presented as a normal alarm clock. But the real Heinrad apparently from what I've read, the switch to shut off the alarm can only be accessed while he's in robot mode so if you have him in Beast Mode like he was in the cartoon you'd be forced to transform it to shut it off... or chuck it against the wall. I find him interesting as an actual working alarm clock, the fact that he's had a Cameo outside of his original cartoon but that most people in America who only know RID2001 wouldn't even know that was a Transformer. Oh and while we're on the subject of dead characters made into toys... The Live Action movie toy lines have a habit of taking literally any vehicle that was in the live action films and turning them into Transformers even if they weren't actually intended to be characters in the movie. The most interesting ones to me are Towline who was just a regular tow truck in the movie and Stratosphere. And I'm not talking about Rise of the Beasts Stratosphere which makes him even more interesting as he's one of the only characters besides Arcee to show up as an actual character in later movies beyond their first toy line appearance. No I'm talking about Revenge of the Fallen Stratosphere who comes with a little mini Optimus Prime that you can fit inside his cargo hold when he's in vehicle mode. The reason he includes an Optimus Prime figure is because that Stratosphere toy was based on the plane that brought Optimus Prime's corpse to Egypt in the movie. Rise of the Beast Stratosphere is based on that same design and brings Bumblebee's corpse to Peru in that movie... so this is a character who is now known to have carried two different Autobot corpses inside of him. I don't think you will ever see Revenge of the Fallen the same way again realizing that Stratosphere is officially canon now.
A Hello Kitty Transformer is nothing compared to the Hello Kitty crossover with Gundam, considering the latter resulted in a three episode web-anime where Kitty defeats both sides before running down a fleeing Amuro to explain/brainwash him with the power of friendship
I think the most ridiculous part of Gigawatt (And I mean in a HORRIBLE WAY) is the Walmart exclusive limited edition version. The one that only had 1985 copies made and had an order limit of TWELVE per person. Which were quickly snatched up by scalpers.
I can agree with the dead Ironhide prowl and Optimus. But damned if I want them to do a zombie prime from Dark Awakening. Statue or something. That too much to ask? Lmao
I love TF crossover toys. Ever since they started making that crossover line I've been getting them even if I have no interest in what they cross over with. Gigawatt and Ectotron are like dreams come true. I kinda wish they kept with that iconic vehicles route, but they're still ok by me. Are they considered oddballs when there's a whole line of crossover TFs? I bought two old Marvels TFs - Venom and Ghost Rider. It's easy to see why they never stuck and it's what kept me away from them to start with. Firstly, they're out of scale with regular TFs. With any of the recent crossover toys you could have them as a proper part of your display but the Marvel TFs really only fit in with themselves. The second reason is the weird build quality. On both the leg joints have that off ratchet thing going on where they can either be too close together or too far apart. Ghost Rider is too simple and Venom is oddly overdesigned in his torso with absurdly simple legs in comparison. And his shoulders are these weird double jointed things. And I have to think they're all like that. Just built really oddly. I've heard of Captimus Prime before, but I prefer the Shoeformers. There's too many Optimus Primes in crossovers and i don't want an OP shelf. The shoeformers have a Magnus (basically). I get a whole lot less interested in crossovers that use Optimus Prime as a base. I'm really torn on the volvo crossover as it's the only one I passed on. It'd complete the line (so far anyway), but it's also just another truck mode OP! In a sea of truck mode OP! The LEGO crossover was super tempting to me too, but again ... Optimus Prime. But that's a really great TF / Lego set. In terms of oddball mainline TFs Ejector is definitely top of mind for oddballs, but I like Ice Cream truck Mudflap and Skids too. They stayed in vehicle mode while on display. And they stayed for a long time because they tickled me that much.
In regards to me mentioning other Transformers products; there's also Transformers x Street Fighter, Draculus, Pirate Hunter and Brimstone, Ghostbusters Optimus, Disc Blast Frenzy, Optimus Jumbo Wing Jet, Trypticon Transforming Laser Mouse, Bumblebee Head Bluetooth Speaker, Transformers hand gloves, Crayola Convoy, Optimus Prime truck tissue box holder, and Kaltor. Also, there are Botbots toys that turn into things like desserts, piano, a pair of teeth, and rex plant dino. There are also unofficial Transformers toys such as Pizza Fighters (TMNT) and CM Corps Headmasters Juniors Minerva. There's even an old Transformers toyline ripoff called Convertors; one of them becoming a cash register. There's also an unrelated transforming Star Trek Lego toy that was themed on the Year of the Rat. Not to mention Deformation Hero Watches.
Choro-Q Transformers Hello Kitty is just what we needed. My wife loves Hello Kitty (I kind of like it myself as well 🤫🤐) and I'm into Transformers so one time, for an anniversary I bought two of these, one Kittymus Prime each
It would be really interesting if Hasbro made a marvel Transformers crossover figure of Drax from guardians of the Galaxy. or, a figure of rocket, that actually turns into a raccoon. that second one would probably make the most sense.
You know, bringing up the console Transformers, I would unironically love a ROB inspired bot that can turn into a nes/famicon Though it would probably have the same issues you brought up about the differences between the consoles requiring two different molds
may the best winner of the giveaway win! but yeah, i agree, ironhide and prowl death 2 pack was an odd one, but it had blast effects so i picked one up
I need to get the dead Optimus prime lol . I got the two pack of ironhide and prowl at my job at target for 17 bucks . Son is going to get it for Christmas…but Prime?!

"Where is that DANG third Cyberkey!?" Is a modified reference to Shadow The Hedgehog game.
I still can’t believe they did dying Prowl and Ironhide and you just know they’re gonna do a Brawn and Ratchet pack.
edit: this comment aged well
they probably wont since the prowl and ironhide weren't really received well
@@gavin1837 I hope so

I hope so, keep it coming with the dead characters, this shit's hilarious to me
They made it before they made ss 86 megatron..which I’m not sure how they’re gonna do given he’s a gun.

Were there differences besides the packaging?
@@madskater5 I don't think so. But I still think it was a ridiculous situation.
My wife loves Hello Kitty (I kind of like it myself as well 🤫🤐) and I'm into Transformers so one time, for an anniversary I bought two of these, one Kittymus Prime each
the toaster made me bust out laughing!
I would definitely watch a video on those weird tf toys lists you mentioned at the end of the video
My favorite one that I actually own is the Optimus Prime portable power bank that actually works.
That's not even the first dead Prime toy. They did it in Masterpiece back in 2010. Weird!
Ah, yes Convoy "Sleep Mode"
Forget doing the Super Nintendo. They just need a Megatron that transforms into a Nintendo Zapper
Surprised you didn’t mention the proposed MLP BotCon crossover. That was pretty weird, and I’m actually really sad it was cancelled.
Alternate Universe Optimus Prime? So basically Blackest Night Optimus ?
I always thought BW NEO Heinrad was awesome.. with he working alarm clock. The sake jar, and IOU box... plus.. umm
.. testicle! 😂😂😂
Fun fact: at some point, hello kitty was a beyblade....
My favorite WTF Transformer would have to be the 3P Toywolf Dirty Man - he turns into a f---ing toilet.
It would be really interesting if Hasbro made a marvel Transformers crossover figure of Drax from guardians of the Galaxy. or, a figure of rocket, that actually turns into a raccoon. that second one would probably make the most sense.
Or, mantis turning into a praying mantis transformer.
I have a good theory about why the Marvel Transformers stopped. Look at the Punisher.
You know, bringing up the console Transformers, I would unironically love a ROB inspired bot that can turn into a nes/famicon
Though it would probably have the same issues you brought up about the differences between the consoles requiring two different molds
Would Tarn getting an official figure or two count?
I absolutely love Ejector.
I can't believe that the Autobot logo on Optimus Prime Bearbrick is in a weird spot to say the least. Now try erasing that from your mind.
may the best winner of the giveaway win! but yeah, i agree, ironhide and prowl death 2 pack was an odd one, but it had blast effects so i picked one up
Ejector's gotta be my favourite
I remember the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck transformers
I saw you at TFcon, I wanted to say hi, but anxiety got the best of me
I’ve been aiming to get the PlayStation Optimus and Mega Drive Megatron. Gonna cost me a lot, but I’ll get there.
The dead Prowl and Ironhide could have just been nontransforming figures.
Either that, or switchable parts.
I need to get the dead Optimus prime lol . I got the two pack of ironhide and prowl at my job at target for 17 bucks . Son is going to get it for Christmas…but Prime?!
Still wish we got a proper Dispensor figure
I just want a transforming knight rider.
Yeah, why still dead characters?
A transforming hat? Absolutely absurd. Transforming shoes? Really absurd. Hopefully we will never get these again!
You like Marvelbot Hulk? Check out Ghost Rider. He transforms into his own bike.
I WOULD LOVE A STUDIO SERIES EJECTOR!!!!!
Very enjoyable video
Lol
what about the mickey mouse and donald duck transformers?
I’m not in the Patreon, but can you please give me a shoutout tomorrow? Tomorrow’s my birthday.
Happy early birthday!
He records these in advance so he might not be able to. Also, happy birthday.
@@ShadowWingTronix Thanks.
@@etonymous1632 Thanks.
