It is a generalization, and accurate.. most women want a man taller than them period.
I'm not short, I'm average and yes I've dated taller women, I married a women taller than me lol.. but it doesn't happen often.

I'm 5'4" and I dated a girl who was 5'9" in college. She asked me if it bothered me, and I said it doesn't bother me at all. It would only bother me if it bothers you. Then she asked me why not. Whether a man or a woman, the problem starts as soon as the phrase “I want” is uttered…
The ability to compromise, accept people for their quirks or look past imperfections is a modern cancer on dating.
Our 21st Century expectations are ridiculous to the point of counterproductive.
I ran the numbers while back and it's concentric circles of qualities.
People over 6ft are 15% of the us population.
People earning over 100,000 in the us is 9%.
Assuming an even distribution of attractiveness rated from 1-10, 30% of the population are above average attractiveness based on female standards.
This means that women are looking for fractions of a percent of the population to settle down with before personal qualities or demands;
Specifically it's 0.405% of the population.
With the US's population of 340,000,000 and a very close to 50-50 split of genders.
This equates to 685,037 men.
And this number is more than fair given that women have more stringent attraction standards.
That the population is distributed on a bell curve, not 10% across the board for attractiveness.
And whatever arbitrary standards they apply remove EVEN more men. It's absurd.
Many women are ruining their own chance at happy relationships.

I would put money on it, for one already majority of sports players are over 6 foot tall probably 95% so already that would put a lot of millionaires in that category for starters. So I get some hgh if u short and hit A growth spurt.

@@rasmachris94 A few years ago I calculated the numbers on myself. Based on height, appearance, wealth, and IQ, I determined that I'm 1 in 31,250. I then made a Venn diagram and posted it with the math on my dating profile to see what would happen. Needless to say my likes dried up. Women actually unmatched with me. Haha! I wasn't surprised, but it's very telling that women have that much aversion to a man who knows his own value. It is interesting how the statistics work. If you put me in a stadium with 30,000 random bachelors do I really think I'd be the ladies' top pick? Of course not. The math would suggest I should be top of the heap, but I can't even get a date on Bumble. In reality women are far more shallow than they admit. So, we can toss out the Venn Diagrams because we know all of the men who are a 9 or 10 in handsomeness would be chosen first. So, for example if you happen to look like Brad Pitt, then the ladies really wouldn't care if you're dumb as a rock or have no sense of humor. Or, if you live in a 8-bedroom mansion with a swimming pool, then you can be 5'5" and still get a good wife.
Question: What percentage of the male population do you think is at least six feet tall, has
*AVERAGE* looks, *AVERAGE* personality, *AVERAGE* wealth, and are unmarried?
Answer: Less than 1%.

Assuming you're at least half serious....many men meet this criteria. If this list were sincere, you should be happily dating or in a relationship now. If not, then it's evidence that even after 50 there are other criteria at work. Which gets back to the original point of the video.
Toilet seats have LIDS. I don't know a single women who puts the lid down. They just want the bowl prepared for themselves, and don't care about anything else.
The part about having a dating history feels a bit scary to me since for a lot of guys it means that getting a woman to date him is going to get harder the more time goes by, while the reason that he may not have a dating history is because women haven't even given him a chance yet.
Theres also girls who dont want to go for a guy with a history. Personally i want a guy who hasnt been with too many girls because that means i have a shit ton of girls to compete against. Actually here's the 9 qualities women really want in a man but wont admit it - and this is proven by online dating data:
1) Be very attractive, I mean more attractive than the average attractive guy - like top 10% of the male species attractive.
2) Be handsome.
3) Have well defined abs.
4) have well defined arms, shoulders and chest.
5) Have full head of hair - unless you are really muscular then it doesnt matter.
6) Be at least 6 feet tall.
7) Act uninterested in everything, that way you can seem brooding and misterious so she can spend hours trying to "figure you out" with her girlfriends..
8) Never talk about yourself.
9) Be rich.
Height is so important for her, that she cant even see the short guys she's been around. 🤦
There you have it. If you don't meet a woman's minimum prereqs, you are invisible to her for all intents and purposes. It's just the way it is. Who cares, go for the women that do see you.

I know this because I'm short and I've had girlfriends, a couple of them beautiful by most men's standards. my ex had all 18 qualities mentioned near the end with me, but she left me and took my baby while I was going through a really rough patch, lost my dad, was struggling to deal with it and covid related stresses in business led to a mild mental break down, proof you can have everything she wants but take too long to fix yourself to give all these qualities and it seems a lot have no time to support.

That's really rough, man. Highlights why one also need to do ones own vetting based on things they value. It's a two way street - if she was kind/compassionate, supportive or loyal (better still a combination of two or more of these) then you wouldn't have gone through what you did (as regards leaving).

The pre-selected part is so true. So many times I’ve gone to a bar where I’m going to meet my very beautiful wife and other women around me don’t notice me at all. As soon as she come in, sits down next to me and it’s obvious we’re married everything changes. I notice the same women at the bar or the female bartender totally checking me out. At one place, a women sitting next to me asked me out when my wife got up to go to the bathroom. I’m decent looking and in ok shape and dress pretty well like I have $$. But none of these attract females as much as when they see that I’m married to a hot woman.

Absolutely true. This is a core reason I disagree with red pill stuff bc they teach to not be friends with women. However going out with 2/3 attractive women friends regularly gets you looked at differently. You get the benefit of the doubt instead of being considered BSing. When those friends leave to go get a drink or go to the bathroom girls approach or send flirting signals. Maybe it's competitiveness or preselection but either way it's effective and game changing.

I have very little sympathy for overweight women who complain that few men want them. Their challenge can be solved by going to the gym and losing weight. Even older women can have all the male attention they want with a little discipline and hard work. And it really isn't that hard. On the other hand a man who is short and/or bald cannot change those things without either growing six inches or spending thousands on iffy hair transplants. So I have zero sympathy for fat chicks in actuality. But again I must say that playing a piano and singing a bit has never, ever hurt me.

To me, he's probably the best in the genre.
I grew up on Hollywood movies when I was a kid, and I sincerely believed in love and romance until I was well into the end of my teens. I had these silly ideas that there's someone out there for everyone.
I had to swallow a bitter pill when all these things came to light. Love was not this thing that could happen to everyone or anywhere, rather I learned that for women it's a practical thing, something of convenience or status, sometimes it was infatuation but that was mostly short lived and never truly sincere.
It took the wonder out of the concept of what I once believed was love, and I have since stopped believing in the concept.
Alexander, grace passed on a great quote about this. I went something like this:
Women are hardcore pragmatists masquerading as romantics.
Men are romantics masquerading as pragmatists.
Women often go on about expressing their emotions but then dump a guy because they lose attraction if he fails any of a million tests. A less emotive man is often more loyal

Also grew up with Hollywood movies, but believed the lie much longer! Started having doubts about the existence of love in my early to mid-twenties, now I don't believe it at all, and it might have been too late.
Me the same. When I was younger, I thought I would be guaranteed to be married and have kids by the time I turned 30. I thought love and marriage was a given thing as you got older. How disillusioned I was by the fantasies of love and happiness. I'm 48 now. Single. Was married to my ex wife for 10 miserable years. I was 36 when I got married. I really struggled in meeting women and never picked up a whole lot of experience in the dating scene. I felt like I was running out of time and just decided that I was gonna settle with the next woman I get in a relationship with. Things got off hot and heavy right away and for a while, I thought I was happy and thought she was finally it. Then came the red flags after we got married. If I had picked up on the red flags on her before we got married, I would've baled out of the relationship. My fault for letting things peddle so fast instead of taking more time to know her more. Those were 10 years I learned about myself and what I really want in a woman, but I wish I could get those 10 years back. Now I'm back to square one. I'm happier now that I'm no longer married to her. We're actually much better now just as friends. But as I look myself in the mirror and realize where I stand now, I feel like my chance at happiness is fading away and it may never come my way. The harsh reality I'm facing now is that there ISN'T someone for everyone and anyone who thinks otherwise is living in their own happy dream world.
And I hate it when TV shows depict the nerdy, unpopular, underdog gets the hot girl. Sorry, but in the real world, the Leonard's never get the Penny's.

What I like most about Alex is that he isn't misogynistic, this becomes very clear when you watch more of his videos, he just doesn't like people with bad qualities, which I think is much different than a lot of other "dating coaches", he doesn't come from a pov of hating on women, just telling the truth
Are some of those other "dating coaches" guilty of actually "hating on women" or are they just being brutally honest? Brutal honesty can sound very similar to hate depending on who is hearing the message.

@@tobyey9134 I don't disagree about Alex. I think he has the best of intentions. I was referring to how others hear the messages from other dating coaches. I have no doubt that there are "coaches" out there who don't have good intentions, but at the same time, I'll say again. Brutal honesty, saying unpopular things or things people don't want to hear (but might need to hear) can come across as hate. Much depends on how the message is received and by whom.
@@tidefanyankee2428 I know that you said that and I basically tried to say the same thing, there are some that have good intentions but phrase them in a way that seems misogynistic, there are some that actually hate on women and there are some that don't and whose words match that, the latter seem to be the minority and I'd categorize Alex into them.

Courtney thank you for your honesty, it’s so refreshing and it helps a ton. My ex was beautiful and she is famous, it didn’t last. I don’t think I had enough status. Women do love older men, tall, successful and leaders. Men should be working to be all of these on this list, not for women but for themselves. Get some masculinity, train hard, get smarter and more educated. Find yourself, build and let that special someone eventually find you

I’m going to say this. Money isn’t worth your mental health. I actually took a 30% pay cut when I left the rental car industry, and went to work for my local county government. But... I am in a much better place mentally now. My wife has pointed this out, and it’s improved our marriage.

No, money isn't worth your mental health. But you need to do something you like. If you do that AND can make money doing it, then it's all good. I'm self employed and I make a nice living. I would tell you and have told younger guys start there. Very few people like everything about their jobs. There are many jobs that lots of people don't consider like the trades. You don't necessarily need a BS or MS degree to make decent money. I have a buddy who went into accounting and he made a very nice living doing it, but he hated it. He switched to plumbing and makes pretty close to what he did before and he's far happier.

"looks are good for getting someone initially interested, but they are not gonna keep her". People keep spewing and spewing this phrase and dont realize what they are saying. They are trying to make it sound like looks are not everything, but if i need looks to even get to the stage where she can get to know the real me, then ill never reach this stage because i dont have the looks. I could be a perfect match for her, but she will never know because she wont be interested because i dont have the looks.
That phrase does the opposite of what its intended to do: It says that looks are everything
If your sat in a Ferrari, she'll notice you. Even she said wealth should have been higher in the list, use expensive status symbols as a 'looks' proxy.

The "status" perk was an interesting take because I feel as though it's broader than the first initial thought that enters the mind.
This also encompasses how a man interacts with his surroundings, how he speaks to people, how he talks to his family, how he treats animals, sometimes despite perhaps not having a title or social media following that demands respect or admiration can also be redeemed through his charisma and his certainty in how he flows through life and I think that women still intuitively pick up these vibes and find them attractive.

While I do agree with certain points on Alex's list, there is one in particular that I think (and know from personal experience; depending on the person) women are indifferent about which is being tall. I am a man, currently in a 5 year long relationship where my girlfriend is 6'1 and I am 5'7. From personal experience, it is about being confident in who you are as a person and the right people will make there way into your life, regardless of height. Either sex/partner can be the "tall one" in a relationship. I truly believe it is important to challenge societal norms (the man being taller than the woman) and ask yourself "Is this the way I should be going about my life?".

This is what I love about Courtney’s channel: she always comes off as totally honest, even when her honesty about women doesn’t paint them in the best light.
Courtney is super insightful and does a great job explaining her views. I liked how calmly she assessed Alexander's video, which on first blush she appears to have a very different view from. However, she compartmentalizes his views so well (into 'how to get a girl, but maybe not keep her') and meshes it with her view on how to keep a girl. I have a great relationship and agree with all of her observations. I plan to introduce my kids to her channel - I see her as providing a reasoned and insightful take on how to be a better person, and thus how to create the groundwork for great relationships.

#5. My wife’s assertion is that women are attracted to men who demonstrate the ability to be with a woman. I’ve seen women attracted to me who knew I was married.

Women like to have their preferences validated by other women. If you have been pre-selected by another woman that makes you automatically more attractive.

Another one I would add to the list: comfort zone. Many women will select a mate from a familiar social milieu as regards to culture, class, nationality etc. Going with what is familiar, is perhaps the safest option.

This’s why I’m so lucky to have my wife. She’s the kind that actions match words, and she knows what she wants and says exactly what she thinks and ask for exactly what she wants. No twists and turns.

Is she American? I’m an Iraqi woman, I feel like America women are COMPLETELY different than myself or Arabic friends I have who are from different countries.

I got to this channel from clicking on a recommended reaction video to the "Hot/Crazy" matrix. I have to say this is one of the most level-headed, mature, and honest human beings on TH-cam. It's a pleasure to listen to Courtney speak on topics I never would go looking for.
The problem with a lot of surveys and studies is people will often answer the questions in the way that they believe makes him look like a good person. That's why if you ask women what they want so often not give you a real answer but the socially acceptable answer.
I have a bad habit of coming off thirsty. Thank goodness I recognized this when a really fantastic woman lost interest in me because …while I am vulnerable I would always be the type to quickly text back. Rather than focusing on the more important things like professionally. I see how it comes off. Thanks to her I made a huge switch in how go about things now.
