The design is pretty dope & honestly I love the clackity sound it makes!
Really nice to see the tear down and details!
Perfect review, thanks for showing how to open it. I've bought keyboards which are almost impossible to open to mod. I'm going to try some of your tips in opening them.
Thank you for the complete tear down!
Pretty fair amount of sound dappening for a stock keyboard! That plastic layer looks like the plastic wrap that is used on electronics for shipping. I wonder what it's for 🧐
Right. I've never seen that plastic on anything before. Curious if it has a purpose.
Seems like that should be at least a Used - Very Good. Just the box being badly damaged generally doesn't bring it down that much.
I thought the same thing. It was half off with 2 tiny scuffs and a sliced box lol
@@CacheKeyboards Of course, the pessimist in me thinks that this just shows that the employees that decide on the quality (and therefore price) of returned items aren't actually inspecting the item too closely. And while it will occasionally work in the buyer's favor, like here, how many times does a Used - Excellent item get sold that is not working due to something not immediately obvious at first glance, but still labeled a Excellent or Very Good all because the box is still in good condition.
@@FUGP72 That is a really good point and something we shouldn't forget. That scenario does tend to happen much more often than the other.
