I literally did everything there was to do before I finished the story. All Valkyries, Ravens, artifacts, Realm Tears, Chests, etc. Each Realm is 100%. THEN I went to Tyr's secret vault to finish the story. Theres nothing for me to do lmao I did the same with AC: Origins. I prefer finishing a game in 1 play through instead of getting bored trying to collect everything after the i finish the story, feels pointless. I finished it last night!
I would definitely recommend starting a new play through on “give me god of war” if you didn’t do that from the start. A really fun challenge and I good way to test your skills and see what you’ve learned playing through the game the first time
@@jeremybear573 I loved all the Valk fights. As a huge Souls fan, these bosses really clicked with me and I would face them again whenever I had the option to. If you've never fought them, I'd recommend giving it a shot. If you have fought them and feel like doing it again, go for it. If you don't feel like fighting them again, just skip it. No reason to do it if you don't want to

The ending actually surprised me. I started walking away after the ashes and expected a lot of game still. Prior to it I completed most of the other stuff. Except I guess the locked realms?
If you are not level 7 in Niflheim then go to the LEFT of the workshop. This area is around level 6-7 enemies and a lot mist echoes at the same time. Hope this helps.
Falling Fixtures of a dlc is coming in the somewhat near future bc vanaheim, svartalfheim, and Asgard is locked, but 1st they gonna drop a game plus most likely, then the dlc and GOW sequels to it
I just finished my first playthru of god of war and I did everything else and slowly did the story, I beat the valkyrie queen at super low level 6 and all the other valkyries at level 5, amazing game

Amira Locke I know what you mean. There should have been more to the game after placing the ashes. Especially with all the locations they show that you can’t access and all the talk of Ragnarok and not seeing it. I think there should be respawning Dragons, Trolls, Valkyrie clones, purchasable resources after they can’t be collected anymore because you have nothing to do, no more realm tears, etc.
That feeling when you finished doing most of the end game material before actually finishing the story ... :/ lol only the Valkyrie Queen, Musselheim, and Niffleheim were the only things I didn't do after I finished fully, but I ended up finishing it fairly quick after I did the last main missions :( I kinda want them to make Niffleheim bigger and more challenging and more rewards and stuff, that s a very fun realm as an end game. Also I'm not shame to say that I put easiest difficulty for the Valkyrie Queen... and the Bitch still killed me more than a dozen times on that difficulty. So fucking annoying lol.
Mike Keller Yeah, part of it was also the cheese of not being able to revive after she pounds you down and recks you lol. But still, her moves were annoying how she could close the gap from so far and ridiculous strong attacks. But it was fun tho, I kinda want more stuff like that in the other two realms for end game.
The Dandyman I tried, but some of her moves always got me cause on some attempts she didnt do her sweeping left and right move to grab you and in others she did it like 3 times without ke taking that much health from her lol. It was a pain man, but fun.
How many people basically 100 percent a game before finishing it? I know I'm in that camp for sure, I only had a few Ravens to go grab after the game was completed for me

So many people r complaining about lack of endgame content but I am doing just fine so far having beaten the game and slowly enjoying tracking down and defeating the valkyries etc oh man god of war is amazing I’m already excited for the sequel

(in my opinion) you can completely skip the "awesome" fire armour and go to nefilhiem all you need is a some good runic attacks then just grind for the mist echos and get the mist echo armour that suits you because u was mid lvl 6 when i went in and by the time i was done i late lvl 8 it's easy as
I also defeated all the Valkyries you could before muspulhiem and nefilhiem all you need to do is dodge and get some powerful runic attacks in (I recommend about 170-max runic) and the laser beam thing for the frost axe
Maybe as a tip for your next armour video. The blazing magma armour from muspelheim almost max cooldown, which lets you spam your Runic attacks / summon, which is pretty OP
I've beat it once on the regular difficulty and I just started the hardest difficulty last night. It's a great challenge but the trails in the fire realm are gonna be ridiculous. Not looking forward to that 😂😂
This is a genuine question...what is the point in spending all this time getting the Mist Armor ect (which I started to farm this am) with nothing to do once you have finished obtaining & upgrading it? I’ve beaten all but 2 Valkyrie, outside of the Armor helping with what else can I do with this gear I’ve spent time farming?
Niflheim realm is easy. Just make sure you have the right enchantments for the mist and also a resurrection stone. I have multiple enchantments that gave me resistance to mist and also restores some mist health after certain attacks and I can easily go one full round and even kill the Valkyrie and still have one quarter left. Without the Valkyrie I can finish easily with half.
Am I the only one who found that the Sindri Legendary Dwarven Armour set to be better than all the other Epic sets, even the Valkyrie set? I stacked cooldown and runic stats wherever I could, preferably with perks that work with runic, like the dmg reduction ones. Then by choosing the shortest cooldown runic skills pretty much gave me close to 100% uptime of runic attacks and thats before popping spartan rage. Basically get to spam runic skills in every encounter. Didn't expect to theory craft in a GoW game...
Nah you’re not wrong to think that, but deadly mist or cursed still tie in. Cursed gives more runic and it’s not hard to get sub 20 seconds cool down without needing the cool down from the dwarven armor. My set up nearly gave me 300 on each str, runic, and defense (played give me a challenge) with 100 cool down and made my runics around 28 second cool down which tying in wolf damage phases with Atreus, would let me use runics back and fourth. Only Valkyrie part I used were the blade pommel.
Focus on her move set and dodge a lot. If she leaves the ground at all you toss that axe right in her damn face. Show her what's up. Spam her with arrows and dont forget to summon help from BOY. Mist armor with full health and armor was also key

Already Plantium this game, I'm Jus playing it again along with far cry 5 , bc them 2 games had put my faith and love back in gaming entirely , what I've done on the 1st play though is do the side missions to help me level up quick and made the story and Valkyrie fight WAY easier
I bought ps4 pro for God of war4 .its My first time playing a game on hard mode with joystick control.Now I almost finished the game . This is the first game that makes me wanna do a ＂Hardest new game plus. ＂wish they can deliver that soon.
I wish we could at least use the most powerful armours in a new game, because it feels kinda pointless to farm them... It's the only gripe I have with the game, because other than that, it's perfect
I've probably put an hr or two in gow since launch and just need to beat the Queen and the two optional realms. It's been an awesome adventure so far! I can't wait for the next installment!
I just have the Valkrye queen left; tried a few times but didn't feel like ding it at the time; besides that I think its just the Nifilheim treasures and rift tears and the challenge mode in muspelheim. I definitely have missed some treasures but not any of the nornir chests. Not sure how much I want to do this stuff though, I already beat the game so it feels a bit pointless. I'm not a fan of the mist echoes farming and the risk every run of losing them due to a trap or something else.
Remember when God of War wasn't an RNG grind? I don't mind extending endgame, but I feel there are ways to do it without relying on RNG grinds for rewards.

I did everything in one hit except for the final valkyrie, after I beat her I got a platinum. Which kind of pissed me off due to the reward you get afterwards cause I'm like 'fuck, I did everything already' and it made me want to have NG+ even more. Unless there's a DLC coming my way I doubt I'll be picking this up for a while

Btw I used deadly. I’d probably argue that dwarven is better than cursed though.
Be sure to go back to the house after the game ends. You get a tasty ending.

You also just can put the game on easy mode when going to niflheim. Therefore you dont need to get the fire armour or lvl up to 7

I did everything in one hit except for the final valkyrie, after I beat her I got a platinum. Which kind of pissed me off due to the reward you get afterwards cause I'm like 'fuck, I did everything already' and it made me want to have NG+ even more.
Unless there's a DLC coming my way I doubt I'll be picking this up for a while
