Jackie is a legend. his stunts in his films brought a level of authenticity to his films that still is not matched today. when Jackie did something on screen you knew it was real, 100 percent, no safety wires, no cgi, just Jackie looking death in the eyes. nobody will ever top him.

The Police Story series is a classic. 💯
He is/was one of the craziest badasses ever. I don't see anyone ever topping Jackie in stunt work. Sure, Tom Cruise does a lot of wild stunts himself, but even he isn't on Jackie Chan level. How the man hasn't died on set, or been paralysed, is either a huge miracle, or just proof of exactly how badass crazy this man was/is. And I love that every movie of his (that I know of) shows stunts gone wrong during the credits.
The only we one that can match him Jeff hardy

Jackie Chan did a fantastic job on his dangerous stunts between 1970s and 2000s.
The amount of times this man has gotten injured and kept on trucking since he started doing stunts 50+ years ago is one reason why he is worth so much. It also shows how much of a legendary bad ass he truly is. He is one of a kind. He was my favorite action star growing up. Still stands out from many.
These aren't stunts. There's just a ninja cameraman filming Jackie's everyday life.

What about the stuff he did on the Jackie Chan adventures series where he explains how he did the fights and stunts for the series yes it was animated series but at the end of every episode back then he would explain how that sequence was done

Jackie is a one of a kind. I always loved that they included his stunts misteps in the credits of his movies. Goes to show just what he put his body through.
Safest work he did was the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon series which is also fun to watch :D
You must lack actual knowledge about Jacky he faked most of his bloopers and he used stimy bubbles often then not and his Political Communist views made me not like him... plus he hated outside stunt team if you wasn't in his "curcle" he made it that much hard to want to work for the production... the more you know you know

The pole jump in Police Story was the most craziest dangerous stunt Jackie has ever done. That stunt was iconic!
I get why it’s number one, but the building jump, the bungee cord, THOSE looked really dangerous
I love the one where he is on the building sliding down feet first and the stunt in police story where he grabs into the lights.

I love those Jackie Chan outtakes cuz it shows that what he did in these movies wasn’t as easy as he made it look and yes, it shows he’s not Superman. So many outtakes includes intakes of a stunt gone awry and it’s funny to watch but it shows the lengths and risks Jackie Chan was taking to make a good movie for the audience because he’s human. He isn’t Superman. He has gotten injured before doing these stunts
Well,this man received very extensive training at china drama academy as a little boy along with his fellow attendee and great friend,the equally legendary sammo hung.

For those who didn’t know, the Police Story double decker bus, those 3 guys were suppose to land on the car behind Jackie. The stopping of the bus was a bit too early, which resulted in the 3 stunt guys landing on the concrete rather than on the car as planned.
Even with this mistake, it made the stunt even better IMO

Im so glad you invited Andy Cheng as he knows every bit of the process.I've watched Jackie's movie since the 80's as well as behind the scenes stuff. We already know Jackie is great but sometimes it's not always the spectacular stunts, it's the minor one's that amazes me, still to this day. I've just rewatched Police Story 1 its mind blowing

Have you only seen 3 Jackie Chan movies? Those are like his lamest stunts.
@@Proximoprod no I’ve seen more. I’ve seen this scene in a movie where he is running without clothes in Instanbul, kung fu panda trilogy, Lego ninjago movie, and the spy next door.

JC & his stunt team were banned by all insurance companies in Hong Kong. Hollywood requires insurance coverage for all action movie productions. Hence, the huge difference in safety regulations.

Finally after seeing the top stunt list, we finally got the legend himself or LEGENDS themselves a list 😂. So much stunts! Y’all could even do a part 2! Sacrifice for entertainment for us, for films. I respect their commitment. Jackie and his stunt team are just legendary, whole new level

I went to see Rumble In the Bronx when it first came out and was very impressed to see my apartment building in one scene. I've lived in Vancouver for decades and I'm always interested in seeing places that I know in movies filmed here.

Seems like all they air now at least on normal tv. Are the Rush Hour movies. Maybe Mr. Chan will become a mega star again.
