This is beneficial and much needed for Church Services and I am speaking as a daughter of a Pastor. This way our Church Services can continue via our home. Thank you Michael. This is so helpful.
I used this for the first time last week! 🤘🏼 Worked like a charm! I did use a digital interface to link our church analog mixer to my pc. Slight delay but worked great!! Thanks for the video!!
U can also connect multiple phones through OBS by the use of IP camera software installed on the phones and search for the IP that the phone cameras generated online to connect them.
Hey Mastermind Mike! Love all the knowledge you supply and would love to see what you think about this one. I've been Streaming with OBS at our Church before the pandemic and "every three months" there is always something new that interrupts our live stream, especially when it comes to Facebook...and well, recently even though our DSLR cameras are set to 30fps our Feelworld Livepro device says the Cameras are 60fps along with using DroidCam OBS on a just a couple phones when switching Scenes the connection will disconnect. We also have a weird sound pitch tuning issue with the singers and instruments only when LIVE. I understand the cameras should all be the same FPS and audio should all be the same bitrate/frequency but there are times when there is not a problem and other times when I just want to stop Live streaming and just record and upload later but that sounds like I'm quitting and going backward, lol...So now that you wasted half a day reading about our problems let me ask you two questions. 1. Do you prefer DroidCam OBS or NDI? 2. Should I drop the Livepro switcher and just get individual ins for the cameras. The Livepro was cool at first but It's become too much going back and forth from the switcher for cameras then Switch scenes in OBS. One last thing, I never thought of the way you're using Skype here and now I can't stop thinking of ways Skype could kick back into the Livepro switcher. See that's why I love you, brotha, You get me creatively thinking out the box! Thank you God bless
Thanks, Mike! Truly helpful for a ministry like ours just initiating live streaming. If you can help with two points of clarity. 1) Steps for running audio from mixer to our laptop. 2) Something I'm missing for how the smartphone cameras interface with OBS via Skype. Does each phone-camera require a Skype account? Tried a phone with the same account on my laptop and nothing shows us on OBS. And, what should be done with the phone audio when attempting to run all audio through OBS? Still hearing screeching noise from phone audio, but nothing when phone is muted. Thanks in advance!
Try using vdo ninja instead of Skype. No need for accounts. th-cam.com/video/BqEoNrhQCc8/w-d-xo.html Also the phone will pick up audio and if the same audio is being picked up by another mic it will feed back. You can just mute the phone audio in obs to resolve that issue. I don’t know anything about external mixers unfortunately.
Do you have a video talking about setting up two audio streams in a studio setting....My dad wants to do a livestream, but I want to make sure the mics don't cross.
Dear "Pastor/Pulpit" Mike (😂🤣😂). I know we're approaching 2 years down the road from when you made this, but I just recently "discovered" OBS *AND* your channel. Just wanted to say thanks so much for a video that's as relevant today as when you first put it together. We will be using a lot of what you've shared in our services. Thanks again! 👍👍👍
Hey man. I have a DSLR Canon but every-time I try and turn it on connect a USB drive to my camera and into the laptop, the camera turns off… am I doing something wrong?
All this green screen was done in post with editing. This video shows you how to do green screen in obs though. th-cam.com/video/F1cCSLrOjog/w-d-xo.html I will have a full green screen for live streaming video soon.
Ndi with Skype is the best choice for high quality audio. The easiest way to guarantee good quality audio is to be sure you have only one guest on the stream, mute your Skype microphone when the guest is streaming music to be sure that no other audio takes up bandwidth and depending how the music is being produced, if live make sure the guest is using a quality external microphone connected to the phone and added added as the microphone source in their Skype. Cell phone microphones are bad at full spectrum audio. It’s not what they are built for. If the music is pre recorded the person needs to use a computer for their Skype call and rout the audio as a microphone through Skype.
Please I want to broadcast our church service in my village but we don't have computer,is there any other optional way to broadcast our service using only the cell phone. God bless you for your tutorial
Hello Michael, your content is great. I been having issues with the sound of the livestream at my church. The sound goes from our yamaha sound board to a atem mini, to obs, what do you recommend
Thank very much sir for this important and helpful information. Well i downlaned and installed OBS in my computer... and i wanted to connected our two canon cameras but during my attempt to connect to my computer and open OBS i could not dictate those cameras but i could only see the computer camera working. What should i do please help.
You have the best OBS related Tutorial Videos... I have learned a lot... However, I have a challenge. 1. When setting up OBS, on the Encoder tab, I can't find my graphic card. Quadro 1000m. 2. When recording, there is always delays between screen capture and video capture. What can I do? Please help me. Thank you.
Hello, your videos are so helpful. I am using NDI in OBS to broadcast to Zoom, then to TH-cam. Can I use the same NDI tool to stream multiple phones also as in this video?
We finally worked out all the bugs and have been live streaming to our church Facebook page. Now suddenly Facebook is muting all the worship songs in our service! We pay yearly for a CCLI license to use the music. What can we do about this? I think it’s just censorship by Facebook.
Hi. Thanks for this great stuff. I have a question. My church has a skype group already. We only need to launch a skype call every sunday and the pastor takes over from his house. Now, we want to be streaming with OBS from the church using one camera facing the altar. Do we need to send another Skype meeting link to everyone and complete the obs set up every Sunday when people join via the new link or is there a better way to go about it. I really hope you understand my question. Thanks
I am assuming you are broadcasting over Skype? If you use a camera in the church with obs you can broadcast to anywhere. So you could use TH-cam or Facebook and just send out the links to the broadcast.
I’m working a bit on this. Because the show had no budget I don’t get a lot of things to test it on so whatever I would say wold be a serious ballpark.
I would say any of with an Nvidia graphics card should handle a simple multi camera live stream. Add games and it’s another story but for just live streaming without any games an Nvidia card can do about anything.
That is just a matter of what source you want to use. You could add audio as a Skype guest. Bring it in from a local source on the soundboard if the church has one or use a pre recorded audio file and add it as a background track.
Thanks, Mike! Awesome video as always. I appreciate your effort, I hope you have become the authority in the field. I have two questions... what happens when one of the skype callers drops off and calls back in? Does that mess up the order of things? How do you deal with it? Second question: Can someone using a desktop and skype call in, does that change anything or not?
legend someone drops and calls back his window on the stream will be blank while he is disconnected. But on reconnecting it should put it right back where it was if they use the same invitation. The desktop version will work the same.
hi thanks for your wonderful guide! what are the pros and cons of using Skype compared to Zoom (via obs windows capture and cropping)? -update: just found your other video th-cam.com/video/iJ1_ZplBFoU/w-d-xo.html, which explains that NDI sources (with Skype) is the differentiator, whereby you can control individual guest's video (and audio) stream separately, instead of just 1 audio source. Thanks, if you have more to add, would love it!
Thanks for watching! If you want to create overlays for you live stream this is a great place to start.

@Micheal
OBS NDI is now on version 4.9.0.
There was some issues with audio from IOS NDI HX Camera, the new update fixes it.
Awesome! Thanks.

Try VDO ninja. I have videos on how it works.
thanks michael... a very much needed video for these times.
Thanks Dave
Wow! This video was very useful.
I will try this set up

I have tried to use my phone to project through OBS, but the projector screen is not responding. Regards
How's the stability of using phones wirelessly? Does NDI drop signal? Lose video?
Great! Blessings from prisual. Why not use PTZ camera to broadcast church services
Hey man.
I have a DSLR Canon but every-time I try and turn it on connect a USB drive to my camera and into the laptop, the camera turns off… am I doing something wrong?

Michael, I really appreciate a lot your guidelines!! Too much useful. Thanks for ur content.
Thanks!
How can I record the video without breaking
How will I do that or is there any settings to do ?
Help me
Hello Michael, your content is great. I been having issues with the sound of the livestream at my church. The sound goes from our yamaha sound board to a atem mini, to obs, what do you recommend
This is great. But I would like to ask how to stream OBS to zoom breakout rooms?

If the graphics card isn’t listed it’s not supported. Generally speaking that means Nvidia.
gud job but what if we dont have any sound system to take output how can we get good quality sound sir
Have a video coming in the next week or so that shows how to make your audio quality better.
Good day, Awesome tutorial video...I have a question, with OBS...Can you live stream on Facebook and TH-cam at the same time?
Great video! Lots of hacks and tricks.
Hello, your videos are so helpful. I am using NDI in OBS to broadcast to Zoom, then to TH-cam. Can I use the same NDI tool to stream multiple phones also as in this video?
If you are using obs you can.
Whether you're using an iPhone or an iPhone
Can i use this Plugins to use it with Facebook live?
Wow this video must have taken a lot of time to make with all the special effects!
How many days?
Btw there's no link for NDI in the description
A day or so. The effects are pretty basic. :-)

Do yo have recommended minimums for a computer to host OBS?
I’m working a bit on this. Because the show had no budget I don’t get a lot of things to test it on so whatever I would say wold be a serious ballpark.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr Thank you for your reply. I am in the planning stages of an OBS broadcast for church service and want to get a PC that will suffice.

Did you have for Facebook
Does this work with zoom as well?

Not likely. :-)
wth about the audio for live music thx
