6:14 for anybody, thats only if you don't touch the rpm default for the aps which is 2400, if you set it to 0.4rpm like in the video, it wont fire every 7.6 seconds do also note that gauage increasers cost 20, coolers cost 50, Minimum expense I've done for a turret is 1179, in this toturial its 1910 components I'd really recommend is heat/heat secondary and emp which is the best parts to use in these types of cheap guns
Excellent tutorial as usual GMod! I played around with DIF guns a while ago, but I never put that much time into them. As far as combat use, considering them a "one time use/ alpha strike" kind of weapon helps me visualize their use. If you're able to connect, they can win a fight quickly - but if they don't, they're not a huge waste of resources. If you're looking for ideas, can you do an IT on CRAM bombers? I've been puttering with them but can't seem to dial them in. The weapon itself is not much of an issue, it's getting the AI to fly in a manner that works with the unique restrictions of a cram bomb system. I looked over your playlist and didn't see anything specific to CRAM bombing (turret and mortar? yes). and AI setup with one. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these man! (P.S.: Satisfactory U6 looks insane)

Glad my explanations where useful, a cram bomber is in the list for sure, I have made such before so hopefully I still know how and I got some new ideas to implement too, can't say when but there will be such an instant tutorial at some point! And glad you are looking forward to the satisfactory update 6 content!
But have you ever tasted the forbidden fruit of the 500gauge 8m autoloader artillery rapidfire "turret" firing at 600 rpm (or 1200 at 250gauge with same ammo).
So basically, they will reload, in like 5min or whatever so in a tournament setting they would be destroyed before that Why you should not spend expensive armour on them
I'm gonna build a DIF gun broadsider that uses DIF for it's main armament, like those Onyx Watch ships with CRAM. I'll use it for the Finest Hour campaign and make it act like pseudo-CRAM. It'll also have broadside switching synched up with reload times =P

Nope, like super slow shells to get artillery effect?
Maybe they mean making the gun only fire in high arc instead of low arc to rain shells on the enemy?
My favourite weapon, fun to see many hundred shells rain death and destruction on their foes.

Cool idea! You probably should make the guns synched so all wont fire at once, and remember to ha a lot of guns since you need it to sustain fire :)
