Sabrina Bartlett is a great young actress! Pity she did not reprise the role for Season 2. She plays the duplicitous princess very well. Seemingly innocent yet with a fierce will under the surface.

It's a rather huge innacuracy. The actual name for the son of the king was "Prince of Girona" or "Duke of Girona".
The kingdom was called "Crown of Aragon", "Crown of Aragon and Catalonia", "Kingdom of Aragon" and even the version saying all the actual titles (all of them are right and can be used interchangeably). Catalonia was one of the kingdoms, principaties ans so that composed the crown that was be called "Principaty of Catalonia" ruled by the "Count of Barcelona" that was the same person as the "King of Aragon", because it was a Composite Monarchy.

She was exactly like her father : bold, manipulative, strong, fierce, destined to rule. There are only two human beings, the iron king Philip IV loved : his wife to whom he remained faithful until his death and his daughter, Isabella .He never loved his sons or anybody else. He was cold blooded. He sent his secretary to Rome to slap the pope and remove him from papacy. He sent the templars to the stake to steal their money. He destroyed everyone who tried to oppose him. He had no feelings. He was very handsome. But his only goal was to increase his power. A contemporary said of him : he is not a man but a statue.

So this is like those historical Chinese shows that are basically fanfiction, taking real names and crafting completely different personas. Instead of talking about how "this series shows us the true heroism of this historical figure", why not address what was changed and what wasn't? Talk about the character and the writing, not the historicity (since there is in fact none). Nobody ever claimed that Xi Guifei heroically murdered the paranoid Yongzheng emperor.
