Great review! I bought myself the X-SPR Pro last year and I'm very satisfied with it, but if I had to buy a helmet right now, the RPHA 12 would be a very strong contender, for 480 Euro it's great value for money.
I am very confused by the weight slide. It is showing helmets that are not under review for this video (or the article) and is missing 3 of the helmets that are being reviewed. You have listed the Roof R0200, Shark Aeron-GP, Shark Race-R Pro GP in the slide, and did not list the Bell Race Star Flex DLX, Arai RX-7V Evo, nor Icon Airframe Pro.
I understand the confusion, let me explain. In our intro, we introduce 10 of our contenders, but we actually have test-data on a lot more than 10 race helmets. In every one of our segments, the top 10 performers are shown on screen. In this case, the three helmets that you mentioned didn't make it to the top 10 in our weight segment. This is something we'll clarify in the future.
Great question. The EXO-R1 actually didn't make it to the list in our ventilation segment. In our testing, it had a temperature difference of around +2 degrees, placing it outside of the top 10 in that segment.

Of wanneer deze in de luchtbubbel zit zonder enige vorm van wind zouden de helm veel meer windruis kunnnen genereren wanneer deze in "verse" rijwind zit, zoals op een naked.

@@Championhelmets duidelijk, qua windruis heeft het geen nut om een racehelm te testen in deze configuratie. De houding op een supersport is totaal anders. Wanneer je je hoofd omhoog knikt zoals dat moet bij een supersport verandert de luchtstroom (en dus de windruis) volledig ten op zichte van rechtop zitten op een naked of touring met dezelfde helm. Ik zie dus niet het nut van deze test op deze motor. Wellicht als er verschillen van meer dan 10dB zijn dan kun je je wel gaan afvragen waarom dat het verschil zo groot is tussen 2 helmen.
Understandable, but keep in mind that pretty much every helmet has to pass the same safety requirements. If you're looking for the very best impact protection available, I'd recommend looking for FIM certified race helmets.
Some of the tests you made depend on the format of the head. So there is to many variables.. Noise, Confort, temperature. There is so many helmets missing from this list. AS for FIM certificate, the tests are exactly the same as 2206 ECE certification. Why would i pay more for an FIM helmet? people, stop being scammed..
It's really ridiculous how heavy helmets are now. Screw that i'm gonna use the 22.05 helmets . ALL HELMET MANUFACTURERS SHOULD START FOCUSING ON WEIGHT after the 22.06 helmets

can you test the noise isolation on the shoie x15? I ride with 803 RS and I cant hear cardo for shit anymore , helmet is extremely noisy
noise is better on the shoei. I just dont liek the way it fits, hurts my ears and my neck is always tired.
Only a X-Lite or Suomy fits me
