Another one to watch out for is "go ahead". I told my wife I was thinking about buying a new truck. She said "Go ahead"! I missed the fact that she left off "and see what happens." I ended up buying her a new SUV to get out of the dog house.

last time I went fishing I was using live bait and ended up catching this tank of a bluegill in only like 4 feet of water. never measured it but guessed at 10-12" long and probly 1.5 lbs weight. Literally ate a 2.5" minnow in one gulp. Wish I could upload a pic, it was pretty fun to have a bluegill taking line on my bass setup.

I have never caught 2 fish on 1 hook like you, but I am very qualified at catching tree fish. My favorite was a 5 1/2 lb. largemouth. I got my line just over the edge of a branch. While trying to twitch my line off, he hit my lure and the branch set the hook for me.🤣

I caught a 18 lb Flathead on a little Ol outfit like that, except I had 4lb test line, I was using little leaches to catch big green sunfish and that daggone Flathead was laying up close to the bank where I was catching those sunfish. Haha, boy you talk about a good time! I reckon he was up in there too trying to catch him some of those green sunfish. Their real good Flathead bait, I like them better than regular Ol bluegill. And a few weeks after that I caught a 40 lb Flathead on 12 lb test fishing for channel cats, with little leaches too. Haha!

Hey boss I just want to let you know next time you don't have your bucket lid slide over to one of them green branches on a tree cut you off about a 6-inch piece and put it just enough in the bucket to cover the top of the water it'll provide cover and the gills won't jump out

Watch this video not get near as many views as the catfish and I think that’s crazy! Some reason I Like these equally if not more! I love any bait fishing videos especially the different ways you catch skipjack! Trolling or casting, using spinnerbaits, or just jigheads with gulp minnows like this! Douboe jig head Rigs and sabiki rigs I love all of them because they are all fun learning experiences to start with and you can’t catch big catfish and strippers or other big game fish without fresh oily cut or live bait!!!

Catching trophy sized bluegill can be just as difficult as trophy sized bass. I have a st croix panfish paired with a 6.2 oz pflueger president reel and 2lb test mono. Its a blast catching bluegills, crappie, redear and the occasional small largie. Hell I caught a 5lb channel on it and that was a battle and a half. Its good times.

I buy everything, set up everything and unhook every fish. My daughter only have to drop the line in, wait a few seconds, and call my name to unhook their catch.
Easier and cheaper than their father indeed.

That was a "greenie", and I find they live and swim better on a hook than many other sunfish species. The DNR has websites for each state you find yourself fishing and they're an awesome reference for true identifications fyi. Just in case you ever decide to not go with what "THEY" call the fish where ever you'll find yourself fishing. And yes, women say something like that and we mostly (definetely) mean, get your butt home lololol!!! She got something up on her mind.

I've been saying it for 50 years. If bluegill went to 10 pounds you wouldn't hear so much about largemouth bass.
You can cut a quarter-inch off those baits when they tear at the top and still catch fish. I'm not sure there is any difference when you do.
You know, that channel cat looked like a fun catch on that ultralight. Just sayin'. 😉👍🎣
