I’ve been going through his rigging and animation courses and the rigging one has been especially helpful. All this stuff is slow to make but it’s satisfying when you see it looking fluid. That being said, I’ve been using Cascadeur the last couple weeks and I don’t think I’m coming back to regular Blender for character animation. I can’t imagine going back actually.
I was going crazy why my motion paths didn't appear: I was not aware that armatures had their own motions paths. I kinda whish that blender renames these two option to literally "Object motion paths" and "armature motion paths" 😅 Thanks for the help 🦾
Sadly, Blender motion paths miss the point of why motion paths are useful. Their purpose should be to have the ability to edit the motion path itself in viewport and have it affect animation, basically animating with the curve inside the viewport, for example something that Unreal Engine can already do in their new animation system. This current way the motion paths are just a visual reference, which is useful, but it doesn't utilize the true power of motion paths at all.
Will sign under every word. It is extremely important to have such feature built in. Also keyframes should have vector speed mode like in After Effects, where you can change speeds on multiple axis simultaneously
But if you're on the frame that you want to alter the path, it will edit or create a keyframe and you CAN move it in the viewport and the path updates in real time.
what? i didn't understand a single thing :( Please make more comprehensive tutorials on animation in general. As i have 'mastered' modeling, sculpting, texturing and rigging I am now ready to get into animation. Yeah Baby.
@@WeaselOnaStick entry level jobs usually require you to do those all. not mastefully of course. but they do require you to know it. so this guy knows.
Wow❤, p2design and Alex on story, my favourite animators of blender 🎉

This made me download it immediately. Lol now I gotta try it.
Yeah same , i used cascadeur on my animation blockout and it just finished the rest for me lol. Would love a system like that in Blender.

I love Pierrick's tutorials but I must say for a second there I wandered why your voice was lower 😂
is the Spiderman doing Sagat's tiger genocide? ahahaha looks amazing
0:34 how do you manipulate the controller?
Can you edit the motion path /trail with blender 3.6. There once was a editable motion trail by bart crouch.
I want to learn how to start animating in blender. Any videos that would help me start would be amazing.
Check out my animation playlist (clickeable link is at the end of the video)
Royal Skies LLC did a whole series of short videos that seem appropriate for beginner animation of characters in video-game-like activities.
There is a big video on blender channel from professional animator

Pablo should be informed. This highly important

In the past the dev. Campel B. had a add on for that...
but its oudated long time ago...
@@sebbosebbo9794 Do you recall the name for the add on? I think It could be updated with a few tweeks. What do you think?
And after that how can I bake to key frames the action, just baking animation? Please help.
Does anyone know if it's possible to render out the motion path in blender?
i keep seeing people talk about how to use motion path, but nobody is explaining why you need motion path. what is the benefit?
Try doing sword animations without then with motion paths then you will understand lol
Alive!

Jack of all trades, master of none? That's fair, as long as your motivation isn't to learn things just for the sake of learning 100% of blender
Well, now you know what motion paths are, and how to display them.
