This is the perfect example of why the game needs a proper endless mode.
All that would do is turn the game into a "burn out your video card" simulator and bring it from a 3 dollar game to $599.99 + $3
Nothing would change. At a certain point you're completely OP thanks to Limit Break.
What he shows here is NOTHING compared to what Phieraggi on Limit Break can do.
@@kakregax Sole Meo on Il Molisse... I've stopped the game (alt F4) then it was 1 fps and more than 30 sec per sec at 11:30 IG time and even escape didn't do a thing... 1K+ Levels isn't what the game can handle i guess...
@@kakregax Yeah, because there's no way to design around that like the countless other games that have endless modes.
Nope, no way at all like reducing the number of enemies but making them way stronger or having boss rushes that aren't designed just as fail states.
@@hakageryu307 nope, no way at all. They definitely couldn't have a max enemy limit, and start buffing health.
my only real issue with the current limit break system is that if you limit break a base weapon, then evolve it... you lose all those buffs. they don't seem to transfer over as far as I can tell from my testing.
You should evolve first, then go for limit break anyway. It's very easy unless you're going for Vandalier/Phieraggi.
@@dexter2392 yeah.. but when you're maxed out at 5mins cause you're only doing 1 weapon, most maps don't let you evolve that early, so you have to actively avoid the experience. and that's with no eggs. add eggs and the problems just gets more difficult
The thing about limit break is everyone can easily replicate it for themselves after they see the video so its nice and accessible! Good stuff dex 👍

Checking the wiki, it was noted that all "Might + X%" limit breaks were actually +X to base damage. (Same deal how those pitiful-looking +0.1% Duration limit breaks were actually +0.1 second)
Which makes it sound like it'd make a decent difference on low base damage weapons like Garlic, since if it's added to base damage, it should be affected by the Might stat.
Of course, taking Might limit breaks would mean less Area limit breaks, and it's definitely fun to see Soul Eater take up the entire screen.
Dex, love your videos! Please keep making great content. A humble request--can you please show more "low egg" runs? The outrageous stuff with two thousand eggs is entertaining for sure, but I know it would be super helpful to see how to progress your "eggolution." Is it just Moongolow rinse-repeat until you have several thousand eggs, or is there a way to make it more entertaining?

great run. I missed the early weapon upgrade but got crown right away and it snowballed. I got mad groove at level 11 and tragic princess at 21 and made it up to level 247 and 140M damage partly thanks to this video i would say :D
I'd like to see you tackle the 5 levels of the game without any powerup or arcana or golden egg. With a character only as powerful as you are when you first start the game, basically.
that kinda defeats the purpose of the game play cycle.
This is fun with runetracer too. At level 200 in the library hiding behind the table with max Amount and a ton of speed, it instantly melts the guardians.

Awake might actually be a better starter Arcana if you save all the revives for when you have Soul Eater. Healing from revive counts for Soul Eater recovery so it would add a lot of value when combined with the bonus stats you already get from Awake. Awake is fine as a second Arcana post 11:00 gives so many good opportunities to throw revives.

Hey dex, the old method of enabling debug mode doesn't work any more. Do you think you could find an updated method? I've been looking around for one.
Try with penta and garlic its soo good, every time u lvlup evloved penta overlimit it trigers another penta, which gather exp and trigers ANOTHER ONE :D
Maybe make a video with the in-game infinite weapon and then afterwards your version of the infinite weapon so we can see side by side (or one after the other) how they differ.
I personally find that the in-game variant is too tame.

Played limit break with 2 max wep on my 1.6k egged Pugnala, by 20 mins in I'm sure I ascended to a higher plane... or just tripped out on the visuals. Definitely worth for some fun, especially if you have max cooldown, revivials and ammount with a lot of speed and area. With about 300 levels in Phieraggi it was hitting for 1.5k dmg multiple (I couldn't even count) times a second... makes me wonder if you could banish laurel or lancet at 6 and kill death with it, just a thought :)
he has 60k * your level at the time of spawn. unless youre invincible you cant deal that amount of damage. youd do it eventually, but it would take so long juggling the extra reapers would be an achievement.
The most broken single limit breaker weapon I've come across so far is Celestial Dusting on Il Molise. In my first run, O'Sole managed to hit level 1370 without any eggs. Doggo was leveling up so quickly, that the game wasn't responding to the pause/menu button. Even the reapers were essentially stun locked and likely could have ran away forever.

And also when i tried soul eater with silent old sanctuary, tragic princess and empty tome even reapers cant move cuz fast soul eater damage doesnt give them time to move, so i quit after 31 by myself

How does Soul Eater alone compare to using tree to do Soul Eater and Garlic Classic? You might need wings...
I went all-in on damage (along with taking spinach) and reached about 500 damage per hit on soul eater by the end. I think this might have been on the dairy plant.

How do you get the MAX WEAPONS option? I haven't seen it yet on my screen.
i think instead of going for awake it would have been better for the the reduced cd for soul eater arcana, on top of grabbing wings instead of tiragisu. mind you i still thinik it only goes to 30m
Limitbreak pugnala in the bonezone, good early money farm. Not sure what the best items and arcanes to take are. Max curse I die before evolving.

I picked princess and silent old sanctury and then i picked up disco of gold.. dunno if i should have picked something else.
if you start a red gem then move a few steps in a diagonal direction you can force the red gem to jump to the corner opposite your movement no?
It just remains on the furthest away gem that is not anymore in the area that is being soaked up. There are ways to make it more likely, but no way to force it
@@DexTag didn't it used to move as the gem thats furthest away in the live area changed? theoretically the right movement should force it to one area if it still acts like that.
Though I guess unless you are doing something like garlic only you can't really control the xp gem locations anyway :(
@@Xenotric around you there is a small area where XP won't accumulate. In that area the farthest away one will be the one all accumulates in. It's like a 5-10% area around you

Spinach would have been worth it, though it wasn’t strictly necessary. You didn’t even really use your Awake arcana.

I think the game is designed to be challenged. There's so many different variables to control that make the game interesting every time it's loaded up.
i made a pugnala money farm in the library with phieracci...almost 250k gold each run. Good for a casual like me. Only downside are the level ups...my last arcana is almost always the gamekiller cause at that point im already lvl 250 or so and my phieracci covers like everything :P also i got to 75k gold rush once, wich is almost impossible as far as i know cause gold coins give less and less time over time
That's not true. My highest Gold Fever was 700k. The coins give not less, the Gold Fever bar just decreases faster the higher the number goes. While high gold runs are unlimited, people at high egg counts usually reach 10-20M per run, but then again they also start out with a maxed weapon, meaning any buffs to it make no difference

Noticed at about 5 and a half minutes in the damage numbers went red. Why is that? You went to level 7 at that time.
Damage numbers change color from White to Red to Yellow as you cross to ~30 and ~100 damage respectively.

Not fully sure but there are some chests that can ONLY give weapons and not passives, that was probably one of them
