Porta is definitely my favorite character. I love the 30% Area bonus as well as the insane lvl 1 on this character.
Other than that, Reaper is just so good to have around to unlock coffins and other unlockables in the game, and for gold farming as well.
Porta with Game Ender is pretty funny to look at
Pugnala is my fav. Only character to start with 2 weapons, might boost on level up scales nicely, and Phieraggi is top tier, but most of all love the nod to Bayonetta (even with her own reminiscent music theme).
Pugnala is fantastic... and more with 1 weapon limit and infinite levels :D it's my fav char
My favorite has been Zi'Assunta.
I love her theme, the Vento Sacro is pretty fun to use. Plus like Antonio she starts with one of the pieces to evolve into the Fuwalafuwaloo, which I think is really fun to use.
For the harsh S's; If you edit w/ Premier you can try using 'Essential Sound' -> Dialogue ->Repair ->DeEss, and mess with that slider a little. It's not perfect, but may help some.
I have a soft spot for O'Sole Meeo. Not only do I love dogs, but the healing potential of Celestial Dusting makes you feel nigh-invincible sometimes. My second favorite is probably Concetta, as I find Shadow Pinion/Valkyrie Turner to be a fun and unique weapon.

My favorite character has to be Concetta. I'm a long-time fighting game player, and Concetta's aesthetic/gameplay gives me really big Guilty Gear vibes. Demon chick with an electric guitar is totally something that would exist in that game. The way the shadow pinion works is a lot like the character "Zato." We call it negative edge when the input is registered upon button release, and Zato's entire control scheme works on that concept, as do the shadow pinions. The shadow pinions also conveniently look a lot like Zato's "invite hell" drill special move. On top of all this, the stacking area bonus has to be one of my favorite passives in the game. Making a La Borra that covers the entire screen is too good.

Hey man, Audio Engineer here. Best way to get rid of the plosives in your voice is a wind screen. Either the fuzzy ones that go right over the mic or the ones that sit about 6 inches away. You will get rid of the plosives better with a actual screen vs just the big fluffy cover. The cheaper alternative when you edit the videos is to use a compressor on your vocal to help with the loud moments and bring up the quieter moments. If you need any help setting that stuff up digitally I'd be happy to help!
Minnah is my favorite. I like the alternating modes of big slow and weak, and then strong, rapid, and fast.
The video sounds really fun! Evolution 'and rare' weapons only with Gains sounds like a chaotic mix of pure fun!!
Sometimes I wish we could zoom out more so we can see just how big and far the weapons can get by the end~
Concetta is easily my favourite character. I love the chaos in lategame and endgame and shadow pinion is my favourite weapon in the game.
for me, my favorite character is Concetta! everything about the character is simply awesome. the different playstyle of the weapon, the beautiful visuals of valkyrie turner, the big boy area you get, the music, the sprite. when her and gorgeous moon came out i was so awe-struck by what the game could look like, it was like a new chapter opened almost
The character I like the best is gennaro. +1 amount helped me so much in the early game and thousand edges is just fun.
For the S Sounds do you use a program to record your Voice or a Audiointerface for the Microphone? there is a way to tune the recording so the hights are not as sharp. Voicemeter could help too.
Microphone issues
The fluffy thing is basically a puff filter, which reduces puffs... What you need is a de-esser or something that cuts off the high frequencies.
I would first of all check to see if there is any switches on the microphone. it is common to have switches to change the pickup filtering of the microphone to change how it picks up sounds. For example some settings are better at close range, and others at reducing background sounds.
This might be a driver setting... or mixer setting. so check there too.
If it just suddenly changed without you changing anything, it sounds like that might be the issue.

Yes, you should do an all weapons video with just the evolutions. And my favorite character is Pugnala, her model looks really cool and starting with both guns is super good.
For the loud "S" look into a de-esser or multiband compressor VST. You should be able to install one of various free or low-cost VST plugins that can be used in OBS to compress the frequency band that has the sibilance you don't like.
I'm still very early in the game with only two real "victories" but I really like Gennaro.
His +1 on projectiles really stacks wonderfully and helped me with learning how the game works.
+1 for bone related commentary throughout.
My fav is definitely smith, i love to start a bit weak and then gain ridiculous power, i also like toastie for the rush of always being close to losing
Arca. I just really like him. Purchased him early game and then never stopped using him when possible. At first it was really just because of hellfire but then it was just some kind of affection to see that little white-haired sprite walking around. Love the sensation, no regrets.

Red death has been my favorite for a while, just because of how fun it is to zip around the map with its insane movement speed.

18:17 I think its because of the rly low Cooldown i think it affects it as well. So its like shooting like reaaaally fast making look brighter
I think the S sound is from air being pushed into your mic, if you don't have a pop filter, you can try speaking away from the mic input so that your breath isn't going into your mic
Genero is my favorite I just really like the knives they are really strong early and with bounce or slash they make pretty much any build viable.
My favorite is Missingno, simply because before all the limit breaks, golden eggs and even arcana stuff, (aside from modding the game) he was the only way to get those fun insane stats runs.
Mortaccio's actually one of my favorite characters. The Bone is an innately funny weapon, especially since Mortaccio is a skeleton, and it scales really well with just about everything. I also really like Clerici, for being a cool nun, the OG reaper killer, and her original walk cycle was rad.
"S" is a curse when it comes to recording sounds, it always gets very sharp.

I'm having a lot o fun playing only one weapon. I struggled a bit for Arca, you quickly need the tome .
smith and peppino, but ambrojoe is my favorite vanilla. gains is an honorable mention for being the best boy.

Put a high pass filter on your mic input it will pull the s sound out and you can boost the midrange to add some punch to your voice ;)

I kinda wanna know if you could endless mode which weapon in limit break mode lasts the longest, like unlimited upgrade with lightning or bone but 5% curse every minute till death or something.

Hey Dex. For loud S and SH sounds, use "deesser" plugin during the montage. This plugin is available for almost every montage software.
What is a montage software?
I was looking for deesser and for my editing software Wondershare Filmora, but I couldn't find one

I really like Porta. Take Game Breaker at level one, get the weapon evolved eventually, and then it's a kite as much as you can or die game. I found it pretty challenging

I've gotten to 1799 on gains (with exp still left, reaper killed me, had no freeze) using the heavens sword bounce over slash; You 1 shot everything anyway, and I tried a run without bounce and had the same issue where the sword would glitch out and not do anything (didn't even make it to 30 minutes). The bounce seems to let it function normally no matter which stats you get, had no issue with random all the times I've picked it.
Just as a note, slash has no effect on Heaven Sword.
@@DexTag does it not double the crit damage? I know heavens sword has crit already enabled, but the "makes crits twice as strong" thing logically should still work (so 4x damage instead of 2x for a crit - which becomes guaranteed eventually).
Either way, fair - just wanted to point out that the bounce arcana fixed all the issues with the sword not working if you wanted to try and get it higher. I've not been able to break 1799 myself sadly.
@@madshansen8223 second, I was on Cross in my brain. Yes it works on Heaven Sword, but bouncing is either way better. I'm pretty sure I also went for bouncing

Bones can deal the most damage under the right condition. For example if you stand in between the pillars in Capella Magna, its dps can reach millions. It still does to this point.
Without getting stuck this pretty much doesn't work anymore, since the knockback will kick away the enemies

Fun fact: Medallion (or Medaglion in Italic-ish) is pronounced Metallion in Greek. It's just the Italian pronunciation that needed the "gl" to have the same "double L" as in "really fat L sound" that Metallion has. Metallion is of course a derivative of the word Metalon (ancient Greek) or Metalo in modern Greek which of course means Metal. Since Metaglions were made of metal, that's how the object got its name. So, Dex, you learn something new every day :)

I've literally never noticed your "S" sound being loud. Maybe it's because I have a really nice audio setup or something, but I've never felt your audio had any issues.
Well... We don't cry as much. But since the guy complained about you manually selecting +1 amount when doing the max level. I had to tell you there are people like me that use intelligence when min-maxing and enjoy when you do that sort of thing. So don't just listen to the hater that is loud. I enjoy what you do, since i think you have a similar personality trait as me and do enjoy going as far as possible even if the path to the end is initially harder for people like us. That is why you pick "Luck" in other games ;D We like to see the Demon overlord that is produced in the end burning the world. (Maybe a little less dramatic, haha, but you get the point i hope)

Bones is still broken till now. I took bones in Capella Magna with Lv203 Pugnala, and she did 6.4G damage at the end with the bones doing 1.1M dps
hab gestern quasi den selben run gehabt bloß hab ich auf die krone verzichtet. ich hab das gefühl das irgendein update den knochen verändert hat... irgendwie werden die knochen nur nach rechts und links geworfen sprich selbst mit abartig vielen leveln, massig boni durch awake und natürlich dem silent old sanctuary bonus wars sau schwer welle 29 zu überstehen ohne sich in ner ecke zu verstecken... die wächter waren das geringste problem aber sobald die gegner von oben und unten kommen wirds richtig eklig weil gefühlt die knochen nur horizontal geworfen werden... also ich hab die waffe deutlich "stärker" (im sinne von schießt wirklich in alle richtungen) in erinnerung... hingegen cherry bomb mit might, area, box und silver ring geht ziemlich gut ab im endgame. im earlygame sind die knochen deutlich stärker weil die cherry bombs zu selten explodieren aber wie gesagt im late bis endgame...
was die geschichte mit alle waffen angeht, ja es gibt einige waffen wie cross und gatti amari, die ohne evo den ganzen bildschirm ausfüllen aber spätestens bei la borra und phiraggi... naja siehste halt nurnoch n blauen bildschirm wo ab und an n hellfire losgeht... also ja ich seh den punkt von wegen nur evos ums halbwegs übersichtlich zu halten garnet... übrigens: phiraggi mit limit break wird erst mit awake richtig heftig. ohne awake bekommt man beim level up kein zusätzliches "projektil" mit awake... sagen wirs mal so: ich hatte im pausebildschirm echt probleme zu zählen wieviele laserstrahlen ich abfeuere also awake phiraggi limitbreak is echt abartig.
mikrofon fällt mir nix auf das s-laute rausstechen... keine ahnung.
und lieblingscharakter... in der theorie würd ich auch poe sagen aber giovanna gewinnt für mich klar. ne hexe die auf nem besen reitet und katzen beschwört (katzen sind super) also dazu muss man net mehr sagen oder? :D und wenns nach den stärksten charakteren gehen würde klar pugnala, smith, red death, ...

It makes no difference. He has nearly max cdr and will always hit the projectile limit. Duplicator has minimal effect on the run
