- We recently had Garlic, but what about another one? Well, it's not exactly Garlic, but it's ugly cousin Soul Eater. Talk about adding too many ingredients to the pot, Garlic is the best weapon in Vampire Survivors. Still, the black puddle of disappointment is not entirely lost, as it's higher base damage allows it to exceed the points where Garlic decided to step back and let the monsters enjoy life.

i just find the idea of a super powerful christmas tree that smells like garlic slowly gliding towards me scarier than any monster :/
It doesnt smell like garlic it has a soul absorbing aura.

since the dlc came out i think the evolution for "four seasons" is the new best, especially with limit break. i had about 2-3 G damage i never actually thought it can go higer than millions. so crazy

Unless you have like bazillions of exp % with WS arcana in blue color you wont need the chest to upgrade it especially with big red gem appearing

He's saying when Dex gets a ring or arrow he is using experience to level those up when what he SHOULD be doing is picking up the nearby chests to get level ups into rings and arrows. He's done in this in multiple videos now and it is costing him limit break levels on his weapon as a result.
@@Silver_Sage663 It would be using the chests to level the passives instead of using experience levels on it - leaving that exp free to go towards more Limit Break. It's more of a minmax thing, but definitely makes a difference.

I didnt even realize the indicator at the bottom of your character is from wicked arcana. I just thought it was part of specific characters because i've only ever seen it on trouser and queen sigma. And then one time I played trouser and didnt see the indicator and thought it was bugged out.

the reason its falling behind is probably because youre doing your best to avoid damage when soul eaters damage output requires you to keep taking damage in order to continue to scale. you dont take damage, it stops scaling
Soul Eater is limited to 60 bonus damage based on 3600 recovered HP. After thats hit its capped. The enemies just outgrow the weapon since most later enemies have 3-5 base HP. The limit break bonus is only 1 but multiplied with our Might stat, but not every level up is 1 bonus damage, there is for example also area. That means if we get super lucky and never get Area, then we just scale enough for those with base 3 HP, but 4 and 5 exponentially outscale the damage of the weapon
I don't think souleater has knocked back like garlic does, and that's why the enemies are getting to you.
Garlic has no knockback. It reduces knockback resistance of enemies, but has no knockback on it's own
Flat bonus damage scales with % bonus damage togehter. You to raise your flat damage eventually. adding 1 to 30 is eventually more of a multiplicitive increase when your might is higher. You definitely need both. I remember getting my soul eater base damage around 80 way before arcanas.
After last limit break video i had a though... Isn't the character a big part of the result?
For a more accurate result and it being fair, wouldn't making them on Trouser the best way to really compare them? as some character having might bonus as level up would offset the result...

Empty tome also increases garlic power making it do dmg more often by reducing cooldown.

Im pretty sure there was no "cheating" in this run, at least none I remember by looking at it, since the main thing I would change is amount of rolls and in some cases prevent evolutions, but then I'd also say that early

Max wings Pine Tree is actually really useful. Wouldn't recommend max garlic as otherwise you'll have difficultly with getting gems.

He has 0% but with the move speed power up for gold you have 10%.
i mean u said it. u need to take DMG to increase the DMG of soul eater. garlic doesnt do that, the fact that ur killcount is over the roof u kill the enemies tooooo effecient so u take a minimum dmg so soul eater doesnt outscale garlic?
The bonus damage is capped to 60 and Soul Eaters base damage is higher than Garlics, and both scale the same way

I don't know if you've done this before but I've got a challenge for you. You have to use the tree to reach Leda in Gallow Tower while starting from the silver ring (or not if it's impossible to reach it like that). You also can't take wings with you.

Omg, I hate the 5 item chests too. I'd rather have a 1 item chest. I think the dev still doesn't let you skip the animation on the 5 as a joke but I hate it.
